The rooms were very clean and bright.
The beds and pillows very comfortable.
Umberto (also Erika) was the most impeccable, nice, helpful and the best host. He updated my room to a better one.
Close to the beach and in the main street.
The breakfast- at the caffe near by- was very simple but good quality. Included one drink and a croissant/brioche/toast. No fruit, but pressed orange juice and brioche was very good.
Highly recommended.
The decoration is not cosy. The lamps and chairs are really bad quality, in plastic but besides the cheap look, was impossible to seat in the chairs without having the feeling of falling apart. Also gives a very cold atmosphere.

Good location, very friendly and helpful staff, decor (all white!).
The fridge in the bedroom was extremely noisy all night. The bathroom did not have any way of drying towels - or even hanging them up! There was room for a heated towel rail but there was none. The wardrobe was in the bathroom which meant clothes got damp, even with the door shut. There was no lift.

Location was great, central to everything in Forio. Things were clean and breakfast provided at a local cafe.
We were placed on the ground floor (basic room), very noisy as right by the door and reception.
Plugs by the beds are odd outlets which don’t accept normal Italy adaptors. Bathroom was cramped and the shower itself could do with a deep clean!

Whit 1903 was the perfect B&B to stay at in Forio. Everything about the venue itself was up to standards, rooms were clean, Umberto and Erika were very helpful with any questions as well.
Forio itself is a lovely town to visit! Breakfast at Bar re del cafe was the best! Loved that we got to eat a local cafe with some fantastic coffee and corenttis.

Great location in the town, loved the jacuzzi & rooftop terrace & the coffee shop for breakfast with a pastry was fab too.
The twin room was very small but is still pretty well designed & fine if you're out all day. There is no lift so you need to carry luggage upstairs.

The host was super friendly and really helpful. Gave great recommendations for restaurants and was easily contactable.

The duvets didn't have covers (although there was a sheet on the bed underneath). A couple of small things like glasses in the room would have been really useful. Although these were minor and would not put us off staying again

White 1903 is located very good. It takes you 5 minutes walk to get to the bus stop, Forio port, shops and restaurants. There is a terrace with a wonderful view at the rooftop with 24h access. Deluxe room is not big, very clean, the bed is comfortable and towels were changed every day. Umberto is very polite and helpful and is always accessable on the phone. Thank you Umberto, see you soon.

It's a bit cumbersome to reach with luggage given the uneven and spotty road.

It looked and felt incredibly clean, modern and stylish. It was simple in that it catered for our very basic needs without scrimping on comfort or space. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and eager to help.
Breakfast is provided at a cafe in the nearby ‘town centre’ - personally I really liked this as it got us out of the hotel and provided an opportunity to watch the world go by over a coffee, rather than just mingling with other hotel guests. It really made you feel like you fit in with the locals.
The property is reached by a number of steps, however the only reason I disliked this is because I had an oversized suitcase so it’s my own fault!

The location of the hotel is excellent. You are within short walking distance of a lot of lovely restaurants, cafes and the beach. The rooms aren't spectacular but they are nice enough, comfortable and always very clean. Umberto is a fantastic host and responds to any queries you have almost straight away.
Breakfast is not on site - you get tickets to a cafe nearby which is very nice but the options are limited so you may get bored of having the same breakfast every day.
The "hot" tub on the roof isn't heated so not much use, particularly in the evenings.
There were a few little touches that were missing. For example, we bought a bottle of prosecco only to realise that there aren't any glasses in the rooms and we couldn't find any elsewhere on the property. It would be nice if the fridges in the rooms were stocked with water too.
Finally, we booked an extra night by mistake and tried to contact the hotel a few weeks before we came to stay to cancel it and received no response so ended up paying for it anyway.

Umberto is SUCH a fantastic host. As a female solo traveller you’re always that extra bit nervous, but his communication was superb from even before I arrived. My flight was delayed and I didn’t arrive until very late and he organised a taxi from the port and met me to check in gone midnight. My room was comfortable and clean and quiet and ideal for just myself. Bonus rooftop pool which I had all to myself on my final day when I just wanted some peace from the busy beaches. I see criticism about the breakfast, but you have to remember breakfast is just NOT a big thing in Italy, eating pastries and having a coffee is the norm, and the little cafe was lovely and so were the pastries and the caffe freddo. Location was perfect as VERY close to the port.
For the single room just the lack of windows but I was aware of this and it was ideal for what I needed, shouldn’t be spending too much time in the room anyway when the island is SO beautiful!

amazing location, light breakfast included at a cafe nearby, air conditioned rooms, and all comfortable/ clean. the staff was super friendly and helpful with everything including restaurant & activity recos even by text when we were out & about. would definitely return!

Everything was amazing! this hotel is a little gem in the heart of Forio, modern and very clean, we truly had the best time! the staff was very friendly and extra professional (grazie Umberto e Eleonora!), always available to give the best recommendations. Lovely breakfast every morning with a delicious cornetto ischitano at the central bar. The must was the jacuzzi on the rooftop, to watch endless sunset every evening. We will be back!

The property was beautiful, clean, and situated perfectly one block from the shops down to the port and restaurants. We will definitely stay here again!
Only suggestion is curtains that block the outside light better. It starts getting light about 4am and there was a bright street light right outside of our window.

White 1903 was in a really nice location in Forio - away from the hustle of the main port on the east part of the island. The owner was kind & took us to Citara which is a nice beach not far away. Erminia, who was working the front desk, was friendly & helpful. We received a nice simple breakfast at a nearby cafe. Nice place to stay :)

The location was perfect - right off the Main Street. Gaia was so sweet and accommodating. Rooftop had a nice view and the cafe for breakfast was simple and good. Overall very nice stay.

It was clean and comfortable. Gaia at the reception was so friendly and helpful. The rooftop pool was a nice place to chill out. Located in one of the back streets within walking distance to the Port of Forio five minutes. 2 minutes walk to a nice square with bars, restaurants. We loved the Fratelli Calise for coffee and cakes. Recommend renting a scooter to explore the island.

Umberto was very welcoming and gave us some great suggestions for restaurants and activities.
The rooms had plastic fittings including lamp, light fittings, chair and table, and these made the room feel cheap.

The room was great. We were upgraded to a room with two double beds and it was clean, spacious and had a nice view.
Lovely bathroom and lots of wardrobe space. Huge tv which you can use your netflicks or whatever account with.
Due to staying in October the roof terrace was shut. I can see how nice it will be when open, there are great views, loungers and a small hot tub up there with showers.
Due to COVID breakfast is in a nearby cafe and just a coffee and croissant taken Italian style standing at the counter so not a leisurely affair.
But it is a nice bar/cafe and there is a good selection of good quality croissants and they did make us a good cafe late which clearly they thought was a tourist eccentricity with good humour.

Big clean rooms with nice furniture, big bathroom and a small fridge. The roof terrace with the bathtub was amazing. Umberto was a great host and helped us out with information about where to go and how to get about on the island. The B&B is close to the small centre as well as the port where the bus and taxis are. Walk to the beach is 5-7 minutes
