It was a relaxed and comfy stay. Jason is an expert on local (and an excellent breakfast chef) and helped to ease our travel a lot (just thinking about all the possible issues when travelling without a car in Yorkshire Dales!). The location is great with the fall and a fabulous tea room nearby.

immaculately clean, great breakfast, especially fresh berries and yoghurt
my room wasn’t en-suite, but I was the only room using the separate bathroom so that was a very minor matter

We were warmly welcomed and Jason could not have been more helpful or friendly. He even rang round local pubs in the area to book us in for an evening meal. The village is so picturesque and an ideal location for walking Aysgarth Falls and Castle Bolton. Our room was comfortable and looked out onto the village. The breakfast was amazing too!

The breakfast was great, freshly made to order and plenty to eat.
The location for walks and the Aysgarth falls was excellent.
There was a nice pub across the road with very nice evening meals.
The host (Jason) was very friendly and informative of the local area.
The pillows on the bed were the most uncomfortable ones I have slept on in a long time.....take your own!

The host went above and beyond for my requests. Very lovely little place to stay and felt very welcome. The breakfast was amazing even if I didn't manage to eat it all.

Couldn't fault our stay at Cornlee. Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast great choice and nothing was too much bother. Would definatley stay again.

Great one night stopover in Aysgarth. About 1/2 a mile from the river/falls. A brisk 3 mile stroll over to the castle and some good scenery. Bit damp (early Septemeber) but great views from the hillside.

Great area had a lovely walk to the falls before having dinner in the pub opposite which Jason arranged for us. He cooks an excellent breakfast which started with fresh fruit berries lovely touch and we gave him the best sausage of the week award. Very nice chap.
It was just one thing for me the bed was very hard which gave me back ache but it would good for those that like a hard bed. Can’t please everybody :)

We stayed at Cornlee for one night, whilst hiking the Herriot Way. The location was perfect, right on the trail. Excellent and informative host with fantastic knowledge of the local area. Superb breakfast at Cornlee and a wonderful meal at the George & Dragon Inn, directly opposite.

I was made very welcome from the moment I arrived. The room was very comfortable and had everything I needed. I was blown away by my breakfast, what a fabulous spread…it left me ready to face the day and I actually was offered the job that I had driven up for! All thanks to the good nights sleep and the tremendous breakfast. Thanks Jayson!

Bed was on the small side but then we do have a super king at home so maybe it’s just what you’re used to
