Great location less than ten minutes walk from all the key sites in Pisa. The breakfast selection was pretty good though no cooked options. There’s a good terrace on the roof where we ate (and drank) alfresco. The reception staff were very helpful.
Our room (for three people) was tiny and cheerless and dark. A tiny shower cubicle was hard to turn around in. No room safe.

We stayed here twice because it was so good in the price range and in its excellent location for visiting Pisa.

It was only a 5 minute walk to the leaning tower of Pisa and it was great.

The hotel
Is what it says it is - a good three star family run hotel in a really good location
The staff are really friendly and go out of their way to be helpful. The location is ideal too.

This hotel is in a great area for exploring Pisa. It was lovely to have a first view of the leaning tower from the roof on the night of arrival. We loved the choice of food at breakfast. The staff were extremely helpful with luggage store and ordering a taxi for us on the day we checked out. We would definitely stay there again.

Very nice staff and great location. Breakfast was very convenient.
Not much space in our 'quadruple' room, which meant the addition of a foldaway bed. Price seemed high for the space. Need more attention to detail on breakfast - there was a rotten oozing peach in the fruit basket at breakfast. Front desk staff sent us to a restaurant for dinner that was closed.

The location was fantastic. The staff were excellent so helpful before our visit even started. The hotel was spotless. The rooms fantastic and clean, breakfast was lovely. The roof top seated area a huge plus. The drinks were reasonably priced. Will stay again.

perfect location for spending a night in Pisa
it was raining which we know isn’t the properties fault so could not make use of the rooftop terrace that looked amazing

Very good location, lovely roof terrace and very helpful staff.
Umbrellas on the roof terrace would be a good idea.

Pisa is usually a day trip for tourists. We wanted to experience the city in some more depth. Hotel Di Stefano was perfect for us. Old building on the outer edge of the tourist trail: We walked to The Tower; and then walked back “home”; ate lovely food at restaurants just around the corner; slept soundly in a big bed with a firm mattress.
The shower is outstanding and set us up for the day. Our room (203) was not spacious but it is comparable to Premier Inn/Travelodge. However, it has a small balcony (fresh air) and nice perspective of Pisa rooftops and gardens - gives a small insight into local life which puts it into another class. The view from the fourth floor terrace is grand. You can see many bell towers and, of course, one very famous one, in particular.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Grazie.
All in all, a great place and great location for a visit to Pisa
Not much. Maybe a larger fridge and tea/coffee machine but I get that this is a culture thing. Plenty of excellent coffee just around the corner.

What a lovey little hotel,
The staff were extremely polite and helpful, they were happy to listen to our very poor attempts at speaking Italian, correcting when required and respectfully responding in English.
The location is 5-10 mins walk to the leaning tower, local shops and restaurants. We asked the owner for a restaurant recommendation which turned out to be one of the best meals of our trip.
The room was a reasonable size, clean, quiet and comfortable.
They have a cosy roof terrace, which has a view of the tower. we didn't have a great deal of time and the weather was a little cool or else we would've enjoyed a glass of Vino Bianco up there.
We only stayed one night, but we will certainly stay here again.
Do not have any complaints.

Staff were so helpful, loved the roof terrace to relax after a day's walking and sightseeing..
Continental breakfast was everything you really need.
Hotel was just a few minutes walk to restaurants, sights, and shops.
20 - 30 minutes walk to train station all depending how quick you walk
Taxi to the airport was 15 - 20 euros, the lad at reception booked it for us
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would definitely stay here again if in Pisa and most definitely recommend it to anyone
To all staff, keep up the good work you're doing a great job !!!!!

Incredible value, room is small but clean and has everything you need if you are wanting to spend time outside exploring Pisa. The free breakfast was great and the staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. I couldn't believe what a great price I got for this hotel given it's only five minutes away from both the leaning tower and the art museum. It's also nice that it's one block away from busy shopping area, so it's not noisy and easy to get a good night's sleep. Would definitely recommend to anybody wanting an affordable stay in downtown Pisa.
Was hard to find the bathroom in the lobby area. Water in shower didn't drain very well.
