If you're looking to be close to the action yet equally removed from the crowds, this is a great option.
This home away from home is clean, spacious and stocked with everything you'll need. The deck offers a remarkable view of Cabo that can have your eyes busy for hours! It was the selling point for us as we loved sitting outside for our morning coffee and our end-of-day reflections with wine in hand. That said, there is a drawback to be aware of...sitting outside comes with all the sights and sounds of overlooking a city: traffic, construction, dogs barking. But this is not anything this property, or any place in this area, has any control of...it's simply the reality of choosing a vrbo in a private, gated community rather than in a remote area away from town.
Jennifer is the property manager and she's beyond remarkable....incredibly attentive and reassuring throughout the process from booking to departure. She organized a direct transfer from the airport which included a stop at the supermarket and a warm welcome and tour once we reached the property.
Like many of the homes in this area; walking to town means a casual downhill stroll followed by an uphill return home. We enjoyed the walks yet if uphill is not your preference, there is an abundance of taxis to get you home safely.

This property is very clean and in a quiet location just a short walk to the marina, El Medano beach, shopping, restaurants, etc. We love to walk, however, if you prefer not to walk, Uber is an inexpensive option or you could rent a car and park it in the garage at the condo. We really enjoyed the nice, warm and peaceful pools. The balcony is spacious and the views from it are incredible! Jennifer checked us in and she was so nice and extremely helpful. The condo is well stocked with everything needed for a comfortable stay. We needed to extend our stay and are beyond grateful the host and Jennifer were able to accommodate us. We highly recommend this beautiful property and would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location and property. There was confusion on how to get into the main gate, there was no gym, and the trash can was tiny, but everything else was perfect.

Myself and my two kids aged 20 and 17 stayed at this condo for a week over New Years and it was a dream. Thanks to property manager Jennifer who made the check in process super easy and was always quick to answer any questions with before and after our stay. The views from the patio are phenomenal! We enjoyed the pools, which also had great views. Unit is a short walk to the marina or a $6 Uber. The decor is lovely, and unit was super clean and well stocked. Would highly recommend!

Really enjoyed a few days to relax and get some sun on the balcony and pool. Great location, great communication with Jennifer Roel before and during my stay and Hilda did a great job checking me in. Top notch stay! Would return for sure

Really nice (and large) two-bedroom condo. Located up the hill from the marina in a gated community.
Walk down to the marina area and restaurants takes about 10-20 minutes...the walk back up is not as easy. To be honest, we tried to limit trips to town to twice a day as the uphill walk was not easy for a couple in their late 50s (and of average fitness).
The unit is large and very well appointed...all the kitchen stuff you will need.
Overall, a very nice place to stay.

We highly recommend this property if you want to stay out of the hustle and bustle of the city and noise. We really enjoyed this experience. The property is just outside of the city far enough that you can relax and enjoy sunrises and sunsets from your personal balcony or you can make the 15 minute walk downtown to join in on the fun. This was the best vacation we’ve had in years!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Cabo! We thought it was prime location & felt so safe to walk in and out of town every day multiple times. We were a little intimidated by reviews saying the hill that led from downtown to the condo was intense, however, it wasn’t as bad as we thought it would be! We made the short trek 3-4 times a day! And if you really don’t want to, the Uber rides are extremely cheap because the condo is so close to downtown/beach, etc. The views from the balcony are stunning. When our shower didn’t have hot water, Jennifer the property manager sent someone immediately to fix it for the next day. We would definitely recommend staying here!!

Jennifer took great care of us during our stay and we loved the condo! Gorgeous view, quiet and comfortable, and the lower pool was nice and warm. There was some construction up the road but as we soon learned all of Los Cabos is under development. Didn’t distract from our enjoyment of the condo and grounds. The hill up to Pedregal is steep so we found it easiest to Uber up and down. Definitely stop at nearby Terrace Coffee for the best chilaquiles or Lavet 93 for frappes and crepes.

We can’t say enough about how helpful and responsive Jennifer was. From recommending restaurants and shopping to getting internet fixed ASAP she was the best. The condo itself was very clean and comfortable, however some amenities like bath soap and facial tissue were lacking. Also having to navigate between two slow elevators was irritating. Probably the biggest negative was the location next to noisy excavation and construction with large trucks rumbling by all day.

This was our third visit to Veena's apartment, and it didn't disappoint. From the attention to detail shown by property manager Jennifer in arranging our transportation and meeting us on arrival to make sure everything was good, to the fabulous views and the peace and quiet of a top floor apartment. The apartment is far enough away from the town to avoid the nightly boom box music, but close enough to walk into the center in 10 minutes. It's well equipped with everything you need for an extended stay, and the beds have quality comfortable mattresses. There are two quiet, private pool areas for sunbathing and the pool temperatures were perfect. We'll certainly use Veena's place again in the future.

We loved this property. Jennifer was a very good host and made sure we were comfortable and was available to help us with anything we needed. Very hospitable! The space overall was amazing. Very clean, everything we could ask for. It was a nice location because it was an easy walk to anything but not right in the hustle and bustle of downtown. Let not forget the view *chefs kiss*

Overall, great experience! Very easy to work with property manager. Wonderful property tremendous views. Great location! Property was in need of a few updates with some of the furnishings. Bed was comfortable condominium provided everything that we needed. Would stay there again.

Great stay in a very comfortable apartment with everything you need for an easy stay. The large terrace is the highlight with beautiful views day and night. Beds very comfortable too. Would recommend a car to get around to the variety of beaches and a visit to nearby towns. Busy downtown but found a cheap parking lot in the center by the harbor.
There is some construction noise nearby but it is only during the day and stops at 5 pm and on Sundays. Can’t hear it from the beach!

The condo is located in the Predegal area which is close to downtown and yet provides a great view. The condo is spacious and provides plenty of amenities including a beach umbrella and snorkeling gear. Our stay was comfortable and the property manager was very responsive.

The condo was updated and very clean. Being on the top floor gave us a beautiful view. The only drawback, which I have to mention, is because of the mountains there is a lot of noise coming from town all through the night. If that doesn't bother you then it's fine. This is a beautiful property with a fantastic view of the city of Cablo San Lucas. Just up the hill from the Marina, so VERY convenient location. If we go to Cabo again we would love to stay here again.

We stayed for a week. The condo is great, both bedrooms were comfortable. Nice kitchen, good set-up. The balcony was great! Good price. Very close to town and the marina. That hill is no joke, I have an ankle injury, and my friend had a knee injury, so we just took an Uber everywhere. Super easy and they come in about 3 minutes, so no need to call until you get outside, and just walk down and wait a little past the guard shack. It’s about $3-$5 per ride to pretty much anywhere in the area (Walmart for groceries, restaurants, beach, spa, shops).
The lower pool is the heated pool, so that’s the pool we used. It’s very shallow, but nice. Very windy up on that hill for our stay, but no mosquitoes!
One negative was there was some kind of construction going on nearby, so it got pretty noisy every morning with banging, talking, and trucks outside of the second bedroom, so hopefully that’s over soon! I kept the shutter closed so that helped and kept it dark and cozy.
We left a jigsaw puzzle of Yellowstone in the game drawer, so enjoy! 🤣

The property was a close walking distance from downtown but at the same time was far enough to not be bothered by the loud noise of the city. Although we had some initial problems, leaking dishwasher and no hot water in the bathroom, the property manager responded quickly and resolved the problems.

Fabulous trip and condo!
My husband and I rented the condo for a week for our first time in Cabo. The condo and property are beautifully maintained and have spectacular views of the city and the Sea of Cortez. The large balcony overlooking the pool is so relaxing day and night, and has a gas grill. The city lights at night are incredible. Condo and balcony are decorated with local decor and furnished nicely. The kitchen has upgraded appliances and many items like foil, plastic wrap, dry seasonings, cooking oils & pan spray, and some condiments. It’s nice that they pay it forward. We enjoyed walking around Pedregal, to the marina, into town, and the beach. Many restaurants to choose from within a 10-15 min walk. We recommend the Art Walk in the Park on Thursday nts, Invita Bistro and Mi Casa restaurants, the California Ranch grocery store. A special thanks to Jennifer for her excellent communication and assistance. She was always available to answer any question, offer recommendations, and provide directions. She also set up our roundtrip transportation from the airport which was perfect and included personalized pickup and a stop at the grocery store. We highly recommend this lovely condo and hope to be back soon!

Cabo delight
This was our second stay at Veena’s condo and it was just as nice as we remembered it. The apartment was very clean and well equipped with everything you might need for a short or extended stay. It’s far enough from the town center to avoid the all night techno music, but close enough to walk to in 15 mins or a $3 Uber ride if you want to avoid the gradient which is quite steep. The Portofino complex itself is very well maintained and located just inside the gated community of Pedrgal so we always felt very secure.
Property manager Jennifer was very attentive, checking us in with a small bouquet of flowers and touching base regularly to ensure all was well…also offering to arrange airport transportation and COVID testing if we required it.
We would definitely use Veena’s place again for future visits.

Renters beware: While I want to give my experience high marks, getting shaken down by the property mgr at check out ended that. After leaving I was contacted and told that the condo smelled of cigarette smoke and that I would be charged additionally to have it steam cleaned (none of us are smokers). I returned to the condo to meet the manager with my friend who had been there and we smelled absolutely nothing other than a stale smell typical with condos that are oftentimes closed up. When we met the property mgr
andshee didn't care and also informed me that I was not allowed to have anyone enter the property without the owners permission.
