Welcome to Sugarpine Chalet, conveniently located between Tahoe City and Dollar Point, near Skylandia Park/Beach which has a pet friendly beach, picnic tables, and bathroom facilities. This beautiful and comfortable pet friendly home has gorgeous cathedral ceilings and offers plenty of room with sleeping accommodations for a large family or group of friends. It also has a large, private, landscaped, fenced-in backyard. Enjoy outdoor dining and bbq on summer patio with table, chairs and hottub. Tahoe City, Lake Forest Boat Launch, Bike path are all nearby. Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, and the Tahoe Nordic Center are easily accessible. Plenty of parking available including a boat trailer. Make sure you try out all the great restaurants in the area. There are wonderful beaches close by for summer time fun and river rafting down the Truckee River is a must!! Lots of fun to relax and ride the river all the way from Tahoe City to River Ranch. The River Ranch is a great place to end up for drinks or a meal and always check the local newspaper for local music that is playing there. Booked this house for a ski trip with a group of friends and had the best time. The house was very clean when we arrived and had everything we needed. Loved that they had a binder with all of the instructions printed out for everyone in my group to refer to. One of the toilets was leaking at the bottom but they sent someone right away to fix it once I notified them. Would absolutely stay here again.

We had such a great time. A couple of issues came up like my mother-in-law needed a heater because she was a little bit cold, and they found one for us and delivered it right away. Everything in the kitchen is well appointed. And the house is laid out very nicely. The place could not have been better for us.

Everything about the property was first-class - the house was decorated for the holidays, everything was well-documented and clean, and the kitchen was well-stocked with everything needed to keep a family of nine well-fed! Lovely back yard, the hot tub was a real treat. Just can't say enough good things about it - and the towns nearby had great shopping and entertainment! Only downside was no snow, but we'll definitely try again next year!

We had a perfect Christmas! The house is extremely comfortable in every way. We really appreciated the holiday decorations that created a homey and festive environment. The kitchen was a joy to cook in and spacious enough for everyone to cook and gather. The fenced yard meant that our beloved lab could join us without worry! Thank you!!!

We had a terrific stay at Sugar pine Chalet! We had two families of 5 that fit just fine in the cabin. Kitchen table was great for board and card games, spa was a hit for the kids, kitchen fully stocked, plenty of space for everyone to have their own space! Convenient location to Tahoe City and a 20 minute drive to NorthStar. The road outside was the perfect sledding hill in the snow. Great winter getaway!

Sugarpine chalet was very comfortable for our adult family of 7. It was beautifully decorated, well appointed and comfortable. The kitchen had everything one would need. There were a few things amiss, minor things, such as lights that didn’t work, but as a second home VRBO owner myself, I know that these things can happen. We left a note with the management company letting them know. Should we want to holiday together in Tahoe again, we will certain be back. Thank you.

This was an incredible house!! I was shocked at how well stocked this home was. The kitchen had everything you needed to cook each night, including an instant pot. It was a short walk from the cutest coffee shop and then a few more minutes to the most amazing beach, Skylandia State Park. This beach was never packed and great for kids to play at. There was plenty of parking. We will definitely be back.

The house was very clean, fenced in yard beautiful, all of the amenities you could possibly need and walking distance to our niece's wedding at Skylandia! Great family place! Property was well kept and cozy. It had everything we needed to make our stay cozy. Very convenient distance to Safeway, cvs, and kings beach, and North Star. The yard was perfect for our 2 dogs and the jacuzzi was a nice touch. Plenty of parking for 3 cars.

We stayed at the sugarpine chalet for a few nights for a ski weekend. The house is the best stocked kitchen that I have seen in a vrbo. The house is extremely convenient to groceries, shops, skiing, and the beach. The beds were extremely comfortable and the quality of the bedding was great. Hot tub and bbq are an added bonus, as well as the fenced in yard. Would 100% recommend this home!

5 of us and our dog stayed in the home. It is the most well-stocked & comfortable home we've ever rented. Due to a record-breaking storm, all the roads were closed on our check-out day. Stacey kept us informed and calm on a stressful day.
