Our family had the best time staying at the Gray Gull this past week. The property was clean and had everything we needed, and being on the water was amazing. The property is in a great location, a short drive to so many fun places. We would absolutely stay here again!

Great stay. We have been to Door Counrty many times. There was a problem with the central AC unit which the owneer was responsive to, but it could not be fixed while we were there due to a part that had to be ordered. Fans were available as an alternative.

Enjoyed our week - spent a lot of time on the dock reading & watching pelicans. One of the best equiped kitchens we 've stayed at. Thanks for helping us relax!

Beautiful home, very clean, great communication with the owner. We stayed and went ice fishing for Whitefish. Easy access to walk with gear down to the lake. No access for tab yo get on ice but ice wasn’t safe to bring at out. Glad we stayed. Very comfortable. Thank you!

We had a great time, weather not the best, but the cottage had all we needed and we enjoyed our stay. The fireplace was a godsend. The lake was a maelstrom of foam and whitecaps, which we enjoyed from the front windows and then late Wednesday afternoon from the lakeside deck. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cottage with us!

We had a great weekend at this property! The fireplace was wonderful for the chilly rainy weekend we had and the place was very clean and large enough for 3 adults to relax and hang out together. The kitchen was well equipped for one of the dinners we made and our breakfast. Owner was easy to communicate with before and during the trip. Only negative I would say was we had to bring our own sheets and towels which when these sites include such high cleaning and maintenance fees you would think those would be included. Overall, not a deterrent though and we would stay again!

Perfect place to unplug and unwind!

We stayed here in September for a family girls trip to celebrate my Mom’s 80th birthday and my Aunt’s 76th birthday. What a wonderful getaway! The house was perfect. Right on the bay with gorgeous views. Property was well appointed and had many amenities. Loved to sit and listen to waves and had an great sunset campfire right down at the bay. Everything we needed was stocked including all the tools for grilling and the wood for the campfire. Great kitchen and family room to relax in and great for game playing, cards, etc. Barbara was amazing. We had a little snafu with the heating and she was right on top of it. She was always available for any and all questions we had. It was great to go to the towns and then come back to a truly relaxing home on the water. It was a true getaway away from all the hustle and bustle that can be Door County in the summer and fall. We will definitely be back. Catherine

The location of this house lends itself to relaxation, the savoring of beauty, and quiet and peaceful moments. We also had many moments of laughter and fun on the screen in porch, lovely deck by the water and campfire.

We enjoyed the house so much, didn't want to leave. Didn't dine out once. Egg Harbor nearby also has an excellent market, so no need to bring a cooler full of food. The kitchen is well supplied with utensils and has top notch appliances. Overall design different and purposeful.

We had a lovely time here. However I feel barbara needs to check her cleaning staff, the couch had dog hair all over it and crumbs from the previous renters.

Great place to enjoy a relaxing family vacation.

This home is exactly as pictured and more. We especially enjoyed our time on the deck and chairs by the waterfront. There is a nice fire pit there and it was fun to cook hot dogs and s’mores. Looking around Door County was nice but coming back to the Cottage was perfect. I also recommend the trolley scenic tour and Penninsula Players theater.

This was my family's 1st time visiting Door County. The house was a nice location to venture out from, although because the property was so amazing, it was tempting to just stay in! The location was quiet & peaceful, with excellent views of the lake & gorgeous sunsets. The screened porch was especially nice & the fire pit was wonderful to use. We enjoyed our stay & would love to come back again someday.

What an amazing home and location. We hardly wanted to leave to explore more of the County. The setting and location provided exactly the kind of peace and solitude we were hoping for. Barbara was an excellent host. I hope we are able to return some day.

Loved the location and the cottage. It seemingly has a family history which gives it a warm feeling. We’ve been visiting Door County for 40 years and so we know where we want to be located. This is close enough to the shops and dining but put enough to be restful and scenic.

We enjoyed a spectacular sunset and were fortunate enough to walk on the lake (still frozen) prior to it becoming fully 'thawed'. Was able to get within 40 feet of a rather large otter, which was very unique.

Located right on Green Bay. The view of the bay is fantastic. You easily can travel to all of Door County's towns from the cottage.

The gray gull cottage was exactly what my wife and I needed: a private space to find some peace of mind in a natural setting. The cottage’s location helped us enjoy the multiple communities in Door County while never being too far from “home”. The accommodations were comfortable and allowed both of us to enjoy the quiet beauty of the property. We look forward to returning again soon.

Gray Gull Cottage is a very cute and clean place, everything you need is there! The view of the lake is so amazing, we really enjoyed the fire pit right on the edge of the water.

The accommodations were wonderful. The house was charming, clean, tastefully decorated and well equipped. The view was outstanding and we enjoyed every beautiful sunset.

Barbara has a beautiful property and anyone who rents is lucky to share it. The location is perfect for exploring the sites. We most enjoyed the lavender, fish boil and the beautiful colors. The house is very comfortable and we shared most meals there. I would recommend it!

We had a wonderful time. Really enjoyed the fire pit by the water, watching the sun set every night. The house is beautiful, it’s in a great location for the activities that we had planned. We would definitely come back again.
