Best private villa in Cherai

Great location and amazing ambience! Best suited for one who looks for privacy. spectacular sea view and well maintained spot ! . Have a private chef for the stay and the food is amazing! . Totally recommend this place and would repeat for sure !

Amazing

Our stay at this beach villa on Cherai beach was an absolute dream. The villa is beautiful and well-appointed, with spacious rooms and comfortable beds. The location is unbeatable, just steps away from the pristine sands and warm waters of the beach. We loved watching the local fishermen and experiencing the spectacular sunsets. The nearby restaurants and shops made it easy to explore the area. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful escape in Kerala!

This place. It's lush green infront and very artistically decorated interiors in white theme. The room was squeaky clean and well lit with natural light. They have a good wifi so staycation isn't a problem at all. You'll get scooty/bikes on rent nearby easily. Villa is right infront of the beach. Mr Unni is a very warm host and never misses to greet you with a beautiful smile. He can provide you with all the local guidance that you would need. The staff Sreeja is very humble and polite.

It's a great location at the beach

We had a lovely time at the Cherai beach villa. The location is perfect, for both sunrise and sunset, and the beach is beautiful (with the added benefit of not being crowded!). Unni is extremely helpful and responsive. And we all really liked Chechi who prepared a wonderful breakfast for us every day.

The only caveat is that it’s not an easy location for taxi drivers to get a ride back, so they can be hesitant. So I would recommend planning ahead in advance. Unni had found us travel agencies and we were able to book every time.

we had a beautiful, peaceful stay at the villa and will definitely be coming back.

it is tucked away from the main beach, which gave it a very peaceful feeling. there is a small shed like place on the beach almost opposite to the villa where we saw the fishermen pull in the boat for the night.. was a beautiful experience

Relaxing stay by the beach with great home cooked meals

Location! Location! Staff! Light house villa is great place to stay - bang opposite the Cherai beach, which offers scenic sunset views. It was not hectic and almost felt private - which adds to its charm. The place is well maintained given the fact that we would invariably carry sand back to the house. It would be amiss to not thank Shreeja the caretaker who’s genuinely kind and served some of the best food. We ate delicious home cooked meals thanks to her. Yummy :) Unni is always available via WhatsApp and it was great to meet him as we came during peak Onam season

Woof woof, we love this place.

We wanted a private and quite space away from the busy area. The lighthouse villa is a beautiful place situated right opposite to the beach. We travelled with 3 pets (2 retrievers and a spinx) and had a wonderful time. It was safe to take night walks on the beach. Unni is a wonderful host. From the beginning, he was very approachable as well as communicative. He welcomed us when we checked-in. Breakfast was complimentary. Shreeja checchi (caretaker), lives next door and took care of our breakfast and was available for cleaning the place whenever we asked. The Wifi is free and works great. I would recommend this place, especially to all the pet owners and to everyone else visiting Cherai. I hope you enjoy your stay and experience the joy with your loved ones at the Lighthouse Villa just as we did.
