The owners of this gem make the whole thing even better! The house is amazing. Watching northern lights from the hot tub in middle of no where made my whole trip incredible!

Perfect for groups and doing basically everything in south of Iceland!

The location was perfect for all of the places we wanted to visit. The cabin was great and was filled with everything we needed. The hot tub was fantastic! The owners were gracious and accommodating. The dryer and I did not get along simply because I could not read the directions.

Cottage Hóll is a wonderful place to stay at while visiting Iceland. It is a great location for visiting Reyk, all of the sights in the golden circle and southern Iceland. We would definitely stay again. Páll is an amazing and attentive host. Great communication before the trip, waiting for us at the airport upon arrival, with a GPS and local cell phone for our use the entire stay which was a huge help! Any issue that came up he was spot on to rectify. Including a trip to the cottage during the week to get the hot tub running for us. The cottage itself is cozy and comfortable. The furniture is comfortable, the beds are great. Plenty of pillows and blankets. Every appliance and dish you could possibly need in the kitchen, which was a huge plus. The hot tub is warm and relaxing after a long day of sight seeing. And a wonderful place to catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights. The shower is fantastic, hot and great water pressure! The only issue we had all week, is that the washer/dryer combo does not work well. It is advertised to have both, but I would plan on just having a washer, and hanging your things to dry. We did not plan on this as we thought we had a dryer....so with 4 people and 6 bath towels in the cottage, we could not fully dry them after washing. Not a big deal, we worked it out and just hung them, but wanted to warn others that were banking on a dryer. Overall Cottage Hóll is a super choice for your vacation homebase, and Páll will ensure that you have a fantastic trip. I would not hesitate to stay again, and we hope to do some in the summer season sometime! Thank you!!!

Wonderful place! Pall is very helpful, considerate and caring to make sure you are safe and taken care of. The hot tub is a wonderful place to view northern lights :) Cozy cottage with everything you need!

We had a wonderful week with our 2 teenage boys, Pall met us at the airport and gave us a gps and a phone which was very useful and any problems we had he was always at the end of the phone to help, the cottage was lovely and warm, and was equipped with every thing we needed. The location of the cottage is ideal for the golden circle and many other places to visit. The secret lagoon (natural spar) in fludir was wonderful and well worth a visit

We stayed at Cottage Holl the first week of August 2015 - couple with 2 teenage sons. The cottage was perfect. We really enjoyed the area - the views from the cottage are great and we got great pictures of sunsets. We loved the availability of fresh fruits and vegetables right from the growers and beef from the neighbouring farm as well as coffee at nearby Braggins cafe/pottery. This was a great location to explore key sights - we did lots of sightseeing and hiking on day trips.
