Super Apartment

Grosses Apartment mit zwei kleinen Schlafzimmern mit Queensize Betten. Grosses Wohn/Esszimmer, moderne Küche, Waschmaschine mit Trocknerfunktion war im Schrank. Zwei Badezimmer, obwohl eine Dusche sehr eng war. Kleiner Balkon hinten raus. Tägliche Reinigung konnte man selber wählen. Die Deko in der Lobby ist wirklich cool. Das Hotel liegt super und ist modern, ein grosser Supermarkt ist direkt nebenan.

Das zweite Bad war sehr eng, die Dusche mega klein, aber erfüllte den Zweck tiptop.

Will return, over & over.

The room was gorgeous, with a beautiful harbour view. The bed was huge, and comfortable, and everything was so clean. I felt relaxed as soon as we walked in. The hotel decor is incredible, we could have wandered the halls for ages, looking at all of the art! Top notch service, without being pretentious, topped it off.

The location was fantastic right near new world supermarket and all the great restaurants/ bars in Courtenay place. Friendly staff and lovely spacious rooms with some pretty awesome art work. Bed super comfy!

The room was very dark at night not enough lighting especially for when you are trying to apply makeup. No pillow menu Our room had a lounge with such an uncomfortable couch it made it pointless having a lounge and paying the extra money for the apartment when the king studio (our family member had booked) was just as spacious and much cheaper per night.

Disappointing

Location was great and the foyer was lovely. Staff were nice and we got an early check in.

The rooms are so tired. The shower didn't work properly, both nozzles went but one just dribbled, the water also ran out the shower door. The kitchen had broken cupboards and glasses missing. The air in the room was so stuffy and the unit only worked on full so you couldn't have it on all night. The TV kept disconnecting from the WIFI so you couldn't watch anything. We booked because of the pool on-site but it wasn't operating.

Exceptional

The service, the apartment, the art and the ambience.

The shower water comes out from the gaps. Bath Math spent a little time wringing up the mat and re mopping. Better stopper for the showers.

Location. Within walking distance to where we needed to go.

Somehow booked the wrong room. Not as nice as previous stays but was sufficient. View was staring at another building.

It was a lovely getaway, will be back.

The room was amazing! Much bigger than expected. After a bad experience in Auckland earlier this year, this was a treat!! The furniture was lovely. The bed was really comfy. The bath was so good, and a surprise. Kitchen facilities were great too. Location was awesome as we didn't need to use the car and the supermarket was around the corner. Will definitely stay again!! The Art...incredible!!

A little tlc could be used on the cabinet edging.

The staff were very helpful and did what they said they woud do. Facilities were beautifully clean and thoughtfully provided. The art work? Gorgeous

My air con didn't work properly but a maintenance person came immediately and fixed it

Really enjoyed it until I had breakfast!

The hotel is stylish, brilliant location and the apartment rooms were exceptional. Value was good, though that is obviously dependant on when one books. I liked the idea of getting a bonus for no room cleaning.

The breakfast was seriously strange; tepid filter coffee that was almost undrinkable, and a bacon and egg roll made with a strange, sugared, sweet gigantic bun that had the texture of old cardboard. No self service for the everyday bits of breakfast and very little choice. It was completely out of keeping with the rest of the fulfilment.

Average stay for not so average price

Great location and the unit itself was a great size and very well equipped.

Would be great if the hotel actually bothered to clean the fridge that was juat left full of stains from the previous guest' food etc. Counters unwiped and full of crumbs and the drapes, cushions etc full of stains - this was most off putting. This made for a really average stay for a not so average price.

Expensive hotel, all fancy design but poor to actually stay in.

Concierge service very good. Left bags in the morning, they were delivered ready to our room when we checked in after being at the test match. Good location for Museum.

The room looked directly into the Gym, at a distance of about 2 metres. Yes, the only view out of the room is directly into the gym. People in the gym can look directly into the room. Only way to get privacy was to close the curtains. This is NOT mentioned anywhere in the room description! Telephone system has handset with buttons to select reception, room service etc. These do not work. I was told at the desk I had to receive training!!! on how to operate the hotel phone. I overheard another customer being told how dial also. After a lifetime travelling, this is the first time I have been told to get training to use the hotel phone! If you have to train people to use the your phone there is something fundamentally wrong. There is a washing/drier machine in the room. this is bit complex to operate. No instructions available. Manager tells me the instructions are on the door to to the m/c. This is untrue. So resorted to getting the instructions off the internet on my phone. When washing M/C pumps out there is a loud gurgling from the drain of the sink in the room where you sleep. Not restful. Bed was saggy, might have been good new but not now. We had been travelling for 2 months prior to our stay at the QT, and these were the worst nights sleep in all that time. Safe at floor level. Have to crawl on the floor to look in it! This was a expensive hotel booked for the Test match at a time when Wellington was full, so we felt we had no option. This hotel is all fancy artistic design, but does not get the functioning of a hotel right. Only book this room if you are like being overlooked from windows 2 metres away, or you are a Vampire and want the curtains closed all the time. We had a fantastic time at the NZ - England test match (NZ won by 1 run) Our stay at this supposedly high end hotel was poor, returning to the hotel after the day out was a real downer.

Awesome, we’d be back

Awesome 2 bed apartment very comfortable for a family of 4. Robes, nice toiletries, minibar. Double glazing, therefore quiet, even being in the heart of the city. Fantastic location and very easy to get to. Valet parking! Everything in walking distance. Fantastic art everywhere!

Very minor issues glasses and cups not being replaced when servicing apartment, light is not working above kitchen bench, impossible to see as it’s all black. We did let reception know about it.

Paid for location everything else was poor

Location was fantastic, can’t beat it. Staff were great and very helpful.

Bathrooms were old, smelt of sewerage water, tiles in shower were cracked and buckled. Air con was old and rattled. We loved rooms in the end but the new room was still not the best.

Pleasant

Good central location within walking distance of most main Wellington attractions.

Check in was 2pm but our room wasn’t ready, so we had to wait in reception with all our luggage for over 30 mins. There were no towels in the room - we had to request them. The bathroom door jammed when closed and we had to use force to open it. We had to avoid closing the bathroom door for duration of our stay.

Love this hotel!

Love the consistent high quality of service. Great location for my work. Love the pool.

Rooms are really warm and sometimes the air-conditioning is not that effective.
