Welcome to Graceful Lee, a 5 bedroom updated home with breathtaking canal and ocean views. If you have stayed here before and enjoyed it, each time you come back you will find it even nicer! One of a few rental homes in Carolina Beach with a pool, boat slip, dock, outdoor kitchen, outdoor tv and even a shuffleboard court! Enjoy your morning coffee on the deck or in the sunroom overlooking the beautiful canal where birds and often dolphins are sure to capture your attention. Watch the fishing boats arrive and depart and enjoy lunch or dinner using the outside kitchen, table for six, beautiful patio furniture and outdoor TV. If you prefer a more elaborate view, head to the widows walk for a view of the Carolina Beach area and sit at the built-in table and enjoy cocktails and appetizers while watching the sunset. This home has all the amenities for a comfortable stay at the beach and is walking distance to all Carolina Beach downtown activities and restaurants and only a 3 minute walk to the beach! The house offers 4 full baths, ½ bath, two king beds, two queen beds, a full bed and new sleeper sofa and can accommodate 12 people. Come relax in this waterfront oasis. Perfect location & nice big place

We’ve rented this property now two years in a row and while we’ve enjoyed it. I get really tired of rental companies and the up charges. I got a text message at 2 pm saying we could check in early for a fee. When I asked how much the fee was ( they won’t let me write a specific amount in this review) To check in 2 hours early. I told the person that that was pretty pricey and by the time they had texted me back it was already 2:30 so I told them we wouldn’t be there until 3 pm and that was too much to pay for an hour but I felt the need to say that I thought it was a little silly to pay that for an hour and I would be leaving that in our review for other families to be aware of. The person with the realty company then told me that if they would have known that they would have waived the fee because they do that for people an hour before they check in… and I should also put that in my review. Interesting how that wasn’t mentioned until I said something. To be honest. We won’t be renting here again not just because of this but because of just other minor inconveniences that added up and overall if I am going to spend that kind of money on a vacation rental I would like the experience to be accommodating and enjoyable. I’ve stayed at other properties managed by different rental companies and I’ve found those stays to be just overall a better experience. I’m not one to complain usually, but I did want to share my experience for the owners.

I WOULD NOT RECCOMMEND THIS PROPERTY TO ANYONE!!! We will be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau.
The most important disappointment & major concern was the amount of mold in the house. This was to the point that every single guest in the house became sick with respiratory issues after the first night. After checking out & returning home my entire suitcase & clothing/belongings smelt so strong of mold I had to deep clean to remove the smell. (This smell resembles VERY STRONG CAT URINE).
The amount of Roaches int he house was out of control. I understand they carry a larger presents at the beach & referred to as "waterbugs", however this was very different. This was to the point I checked all of my family belongs very through to ensure we didn't have any hitch hikers.
Also it needs to be stated to the renter that only 1 roll of toilet paper is provided, No hand/dish soap or even kitchen towels provided.
This listing States new hardwood flooring on 2nd floor in all 4 bedrooms, however it LVP flooring not hardwood & it only 3 bedrooms on that floor.
Listing states its a 2 car garage with 2 additional parking spots, the owner has 1 of the 2 garage locked out of access. This leaves 1 car garage with 2 additional parking spots.
Listing states outdoor furniture on the private middle deck off master bedroom, no furniture at all on the deck.

DO NOT RECCOMEND. Upon arrival, the house was filthy and completely out of order. There were bugs, urine on the toilets, the kitchen surfaces had spilled food and crumbs, the dishwasher smelled rancid, the floors were dirty, one bed did not even have a blanket on it, furniture was stacked on one bed, the couches were so filthy that we felt too uncomfortable to sit on them and had to cover them with blankets for the duration of our stay, there was trash scattered on the outside living areas, sand everywhere, pool toys strewn about, etc. ( I could go on and on). We were unable to use the water dispenser on the refrigerator because it was covered in mildew. The pool was completely green and murky. You could not see an inch under the surface, much less to the bottom of the pool. There were bird feathers and sand all in the pool, and birds bathing in the pool. We were able to easily reach the property managers (Carolina Beach Realty), however they did not seem very concerned with what we considered to be MAJOR problems and gave limited assistance and offers to help. We had to wait over an hour past our check in time for the cleaning crew to come back but luckily, they were absolutely great and were much more helpful and apologetic about the condition of the house than the rental company was. It took them hours to clean the house properly, so all of this time delayed our true check in time. We were not able to use the pool for the first two days of our stay. It finally turned from dark green to clear blue so we assume a pool maintenance person finally came, however we never saw them even though we requested to be called when they arrived. The pool was still covered in sand. A maintenance employee was supposed to come fix the water dispenser on the fridge but never showed up for the duration of our stay (4 days). We requested to be reimbursed for our cleaning fee as well as compensated for our delayed check-in. We were told that we would be reimbursed for the cleaning fee but have not yet received it. They denied our request for compensation for the check in delay. Also be aware- the rental company only supplies one roll of toilet paper for the entire house, no soap is available in the bathrooms or kitchen, and they provide only one very small towel for each person staying in the house (it sleeps 12 and there were only 12 small towels provided).

Great for a family!
This was a wonderful place to stay. The house was clean and well laid out with a place to do everything we wanted. We really enjoyed the pool. It was a bit murky when we got there but the pool experts took care of that. Having a dock was great for the fishermen and so close to the beach was a plus. All the steps did get to us all. None of us were prepared for the number of steps we had to go up and down every day.
