Wake up each morning and watch the 1880 train pass by or enjoy your coffee on the back porch with the visiting wildlife. If you're planning a motorcycle trip, this home has very limited gravel on the driveway and one garage stall to park in. Bringing ATV's/UTV's? There are nearby forest service roads for riding and the Hill City trails aren't far away! You can even unwind in the evenings with some foosball in the bonus room. With everything so convenient in a beautiful location, why stay anywhere else? Totally enjoyed our stay here. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked. Nice to have two main areas to watch TV. It was so close to Keystone and yet still very private. Did with they had a dishwasher. It's not much fun washing dishes on vacation but ...........

We had a great stay. Great location for us. We had some issues with the lights in the living room not working and they had an electrician out within the hour. We had a total of 3 couples and it was perfect. I would stay here again.

This was a great property to escape the hustle and bustle of Keystone and still have access to shopping and restaurants. The house was spacious and clean and was a perfect fit for our family of 6.

The outlets in a couple of the room is loose. Non of the plugs would stay in and some would fall out 1/2 way. Exposing the plug. I m glad my 5 year old knows NOT to touch the exposed plug. There were brand new covers on the plugs but the outlets were old seems original to the house (1960s) I was expecting a dishwasher instead of a locked 2nd fridge that we couldn’t use. Who wants to do dishes on vacation.? There wasn’t any ice in the ice maker either. nor did it make ice. None of the furniture was comfortable. We all sunk into the middle of the bed. It’s hard on my 80 year old parents back. Just feel like the owner brought over furniture they used and put in in a rental house. The property wasn't completely cleaned when we arrived. The bathroom counter and mirror had tooth paste spit and the shower had black mold around the bottom. The towers were crunch and hard, so bring your own towels. we stayed during the off season, so it was quite, but during the peak season, the train that goes from keystone to hill city runs directly out in the front yard, so beware. Just felt like we were deceived from the pictures of the condition of the property. Also there is bunch of religious literature material left all over the front entry table. we attempted to contact the rental management have yet to hear back.

Comfortable beds, clean, washer and dryer available! A+ Excellent service! We almost couldn’t make the trip due to medical reasons! The lady was so understanding about our situation, we really appreciated her kindness!

The house was nice and roomy. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well supplied, except we couldn't find enough dish towels since there was no dishwasher. The highlight in the house for us was the soccer table. But the real highlight was being able to visit the many locations surrounding the house. We did Mt. Rushmore and the lighting ceremony, the Buffalo Round-up, Wind Cave tour, Needles Highway, Badlands, Beggin' Burros, wildlife, and much more. It was a wonderful experience and a great place to call home, especially for 8 people. PS The train going by was really cool too. Next time we'll take the train to Hill City and back!!!

This property was ideal for the rally. It is very convenient to all the rides and not far to Sturgis at all. Love the Black Hills!!!

This home was just we needed for a great trip. The process was so easy. Quite neighborhood ttpe setting and one to everything. Definitely recommend Powderhouse lodge for breakfast. Mt Rushmore at night was amazing we found ourselves going back a few ti.es si ce it's so close. Be sure. To take the gravel roads thru Custer state park to s÷e the Buffalo. If we ever back to keystone we will definitely stay here again. Thanks for making our trip great by allowing to come "home" after a long day.

The only negative was that we were only provided one key. There were two different families staying at the house, and if we wanted to go different places we had to lock the key in the lock box which was a bit of a pain.

We enjoyed the property very much. It was convenient and the right amount of space for our two families. Waving to the passengers on the train in the morning was a highlight. When I had to call and leave a message the person got right back to me and was very helpful.

House is well supplied with kitchen utensils, bedding, towels. We appreciated being able to use the washer and dryer. This is a beautiful site close to Keystone and local sightseeing. Was so fun to see deer each day and a wild turkey with 7 half grown chicks.

The house was clean, updated and open. Everything we needed was available and the check in / check out process was simple. We liked that it had a washer and dryer and plenty of TVs. Would definitely stay here again and will probably try to on our next trip up.

Clean house with plenty of space! We had 6 adults, 2 teenagers, a 10 year old and a 3 year old that stayed for a week. They had everything we needed to make ourselves at home. Very close to downtown Keystone, while still offering your own space to get away. Front yard had room to play ladder golf and bean bags. We had deer in the yard almost every day, and even a wild turkey out the kitchen window. Our family would definitely rent here again!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very nicely decorated, clean, and spacious. A great place for an extended family. The location was great-easy to find, just a short way from Keystone, and close to the major attractions. The extra room is a great place for kids to have their own space. The kids also had fun waving at the train passengers every day. Very easy, no stress experience. The communication by e-mail was prompt and clear.

We loved everything about it, plan to return. Cabin was very beautiful, comfortable, clean. Kitchen is very well equipped with all we needed. We were a group of eight, there was plenty of room for all of us. Children took the room with the foosball table and there were three bedrooms for adults. We loved everything about it, the location, comfort, the simple instructions and really relaxed attitude. We loved the big fireplace in the living room and enjoyed sitting around the fire at the end of the day. Great customer support, fast response, resolved the issue immediately, very friendly, made us feel welcomed and made our vacation special

We really enjoyed this home. The location was ideal as it was just a few minutes from Keystone. The home had plenty of room for our group. We didn’t use the outside space because it was cool but I’m sure in the summer the outdoors are complimentary to the home. The 1880 train drives right past the home. And we were able to see turkeys and deer right around the home every day. We awoke to 4 inches of snow on our departure day and were appreciative that the snow had been removed from the driveway. We would definitely consider staying in this home again! Rushmore vacation rentals was very easy to rent from. The rental agreement was clear and payments were easy to make.

The first thing my son in law said was "is it for sale? I'll buy it". It was clean and neat, big enough for all 8 of us with a headroom left over. There were deer and turkey in the front yard. It's close to everything. I would definitely stay here again!
