La casa está super bien. Te sientes como en casa. La comida riquísima. Frente al mar. Estuvimos muy a gusto. Repetiríamos seguro.

The staff was great, they made sure we had everything we needed. The property is beautiful, right on the ocean, with dark skies at night.

Awa the manager, tranquil environment, cool pool, beach at 1 minute. Hot shower, clean room. Nice meals.
Mosquito nets not sufficient. A square net would make a difference.

"An oasis of serenity"
The view of the Atlantic Ocean at sunset.
The sound of the waves splashing on the sandy beach as you sleep into the night. The peaceful sound of nature that whispers into your ears in the morning reassuring your mind and soul of a brand new day full of life, hope and peace.
The pelican filled island of Sanghomar and the mangroves of Javier. The nice ice cold drinking water at one of the stores in this village, not to mention the two 'made to be' cold codys beer I never expected but had in the island. The warm reception at a rest hole by an artistic local soul. The dive in the Atlantic from this island.
A 13,000 cfa per kg of fresh sea lobsters for dinner. Plus a 1000 cfa large squid, it was the best deal.
Sad to learn about and be witness to the evidence of the rising sea level and its effects on the beautiful fishing village of Djiffer. Just nature taking its course , something humans don't control but can surely influence.
At ' the house by the sea, a suggestion to get a larger refrigerator and keep a good stock of drinks - both, alcohol and soft drinks apart from the collection of wine that is available which is not bad.
Room wasn't cleaned when I was out visiting the islands. When enquired to upon return and to a dismay, was told they were not advised earlier. Isn't it supposed to be the host responsibility? Aren't guests rooms often cleaned daily? Should it be? I reckon so.
Suggestion to extend the glass wall in front, out enclosing the dinning and seating area in front of the swimming pool and overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Just glass wall, and then, sliding doors
out to the pool.

Wonderful house in a magnificent part of Senegal and run by lovely people. My best experience yet of the Sine Saloum region. Awa prepares great food and Omar is an awesome fishing guide. Best laid out house I seen anywhere. Cool sea breeze so no need for air con.

Beautiful vue, great greenery
I was looking for “ villa sur la plage” but sign reads “ la maison sur la plage”
Also, Awa the manager of the hotel is lovely but a bit moody. I didn’t appreciate her unpredictable manner. She was nice with my daughter one moment, then I ask for coffee in bed and she openly grimaced and shuffled about, not liking my request quite obviously
