This newly renovated 600 SQFT apartment is located just steps from the beach and it has everything you need for a great vacation. The Old Nags Head style covered-porch faces south and has views of the beach access. The bedroom has plenty of closet space and a queen size bed. The newly renovated bathroom has a full size tub shower and a 36" vanity. The living area has an open floor plan with a full size kitchen, dining area and living room. The living room has a couch, coffee table and flat screen TV. The covered front porch is located just off the living room. It is a great place to take in the salt air and relax. The apartment is a quick 1 minute walk to the beach. The Albatross Street Beach access is located only 300' (less than a football field!) away. The apartment is within walking/biking distance to many well renowned sites on the Outer Banks, including, Jockey's Ridge State Park (via signaled Hollowell St crosswalk), the new (2017) Town of Nags Head Dowdy Park, The Nags Head Fishing Pier, Tortugas Lie Restaurant and many other attractions. The apartment is also within Biking distance to the YMCA via the Town of Nags Head's new Multi-use path. This is a great place for a couple or a small family looking for a spacious vacation rental!!

We had the best time staying at the Captain’s Quarters during our brief weekend stay! The setup was perfect, the condo was updated throughout, the couch and bed were comfy and cozy, and the location was perfect. Not only was it in easy proximity to the beach (you can see the dunes/ walkway from the driveway), but it was a good location in proximity to its surroundings. Iain was easy to communicate with and provided great recommendations! I highly recommend Captain’s Quarters for your stay!

Just as advertised. Great location in a quite community just a short walk to the beach. Relaxing front porch to sit, read and enjoy the warmth of the setting October sun. We'll definitely return.

Very nice apartment with a nice deck. Very clean and well located in Nags Head. We enjoyed cooking breakfast in the kitchen, relaxing at night by watching tv and slept well! Definitely a must rent in Nags Head!

This property gave us all the amenities we were looking for in a great location. The beach was is within walking distance and all local amenities are just around the corner. Great place for a weekend or a week! Clean, comfortable, and friendly host! We will be back for sure.

We enjoyed our stay! The place was perfect for my husband and I to spend a long weekend in Nags Head with our daughter. The location was close to her and many great restaurants, grocery stores, shops, and, not to mention how close it was to the beach. We’ll definitely try to book here again in the future.

The apartment is in a great, quiet (in January) neighborhood within walking distance to the beach. Easily accessible. Updated bathroom. Plenty of space and closets in the bedroom. Comfy bed; I needed a couple nights to adjust to the pillows. Basic toiletries, towels, kitchen essentials provided. TV has roku so plenty of options. Porch with chairs to hang out when it’s warmer. The place is perfect for 2! I would rent again!

My wife and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary with a trip to the Outer Banks for the first time. This place was very reasonably priced and cozy, with quick beach access and many shops nearby (many within walking distance). We stayed for four nights, had no issues, and enjoyed our stay greatly.

Everything was a breeze with this location. We had zero complaints. The check in process was as simple and easy as it could get and the parking pad out front was very convenient. Once inside, the entire place was clean and updated with very nice flooring. There were people staying in the adjacent property and we rarely heard them. Last but not least, the wifi worked just fine and the Roku TV was nice. The AC also worked great. We didn't spend a ton of time otherwise in the unit, but what time we did spend was very nice.

It was a great 4 day weekend in the OBX! Location was perfectly in the middle of all of our favorite places. The apartment was very quiet, clean, and so close to the water. If only we had more sunshine! It rained the entire time we were there, but we will definitely be back!

Cute apartment, great for a couple. Close to everything including the best restaurants. You do have to share a balcony with 2 other apartments with only a divider, but we had quite neighbors so it was great. Would definitely stay again.

The owner was very responsive and professional. We loved the rental. Eveything was so clean and new. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch. The location was perfect for us with it being so close to the beach. Great restaurants in the area. We were very bummed when there was a mandatory evacuation due to Florence coming as the rental was perfect for us. We were saddened to not only cut our vacation short but to leave this ideal rental/location.

This property was great for a five day getaway with my husband. The space was recently renovated and provided all of the comforts of home. We were really pleased to find it so clean and ready for our stay. The property owner was very attentive to anything that we might have needed while we were there. It was a very short walk to the beach which was awesome. The location was perfect for shopping and nights out for dinner. We will definitely be returning to Captain’s Quarters.
