Staff were the best thing about the whole stay. They were very helpful and accommodating when we needed to stay longer because other hotels were full.
The hike up the stairs to get to the building was horrible and needs repairs. The cobblestones have dislodged and turned to rubble making it almost impossible to drag large suitcases up the steep hill. We slipped several times and dreded leaving for meals knowing we had to climb back up the steep hill three times a day. The air conditioning was broken and wifi upstairs was spotty...we had to take our phones into the hallway to get a signal.

We stayed on the top floor room no 7
The room was lovely larger than most with great facilities, beautiful views of montorosso.
The bed was large and very comfortable. The bathrooom and shower were excellent, very modern and very clean.
Really nice to wake up to the sunshine out the balcony doors.
It was ok to us but there are alot of stairs going up to the property. We would book again.

Nice view of the harbor from the balcony on high. the room itself was clean (but see the one negative below) and we’ll organized. the room had a refrigerator, a/c unit and large closet and day bed.
The climb. Do not book this property if you have any kind of injury or mobility problem. We walked all the way up the hill from the train station but that last cobbled walkway was a real drag. Then, the smell. The plumbing venting in the bathroom is inadequate so it really smelled bad. We had to plug the hole in the bidet and cover the shower drain and then vent the room to get it to a tolerable level, and yet it eventually returned. The staff was effectively nonexistent after check in. Moreover, you could take a cab from the train station to the foot of their steep walkway and lessen the strain considerably but the hotel told me you couldn’t do that so we didn’t try. The shower leaked from a bad seal. The bed and pillows were too hard for one of us.

It was new and clean
No elevator only stairs and the air conditioner wasn’t working at the time

wifi was extremely inconsistent and would not work most of the time

Beautiful view, just gorgeous. We had a room with 2 balconies and additional window with the same wonderful view. I recommend this place, it was very pleasant.
Every time we turned the light on in the bathroom, the vent would start and it would scream in agony for a minute or so, it was more funny than annoying, not a problem for us.

The hotel was nice and clean, however reaching the hotel with bags is a challenge due to the 80 steps stairway. my kids room was comfortable mine a bit small.

Absolutely nothing
Our room was infested with bugs. It was absolutely disgusting. We were finally able to find staff who sprayed a small closed room with terrible chemicals that were toxic and made my wife terribly sick. We left immediately
And we’re not able to get reimbursed for the night we didn’t stay there. This place is absolutely horrific.

Breakfast was what I preferred most

Very friendly and helpful staff, very near the town centre and really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast served on the balcony.
It is up a very steep hill which has no lighting. it was difficult to get our suitcases up the first night. The service on the TV was scrambled and there were a lot of mosquitoes and flies which bit us.

Lovely staff, very smiley persons, who cares about your experience. The breakfast was very delicious, the room was very tidy and clean. The view from the room was also lovely. The house is beautiful and if you want to get rest and to escape from the reality it is a good place to do it.
The stairs leading to the house. This is the only thing we didn’t enjoy, specially in a hot summer day, but sometimes the beautiful view needs an effort.

Great views from the large balcony and location above the lemon trees. Shower was really good! Simple room but everything we needed and expected. Breakfast was really good too.
Quite expensive but it was summer and near the beach. Be warned for the walk up to the hotel in the heat! Would be good if breakfast started earlier as left early to hike and avoid the heat.

Staff was very friendly, breakfasts were amazing, great view, nice bathrooms, comfortable beds
Was a bit of a hike to get up to the house, but the views were worth it. Also, the distance from town meant very little street noise.

great location
parking was a problem

Friendly staff. Location is a hefty climb but so worth the view and the quietness!

Very nice and clean rooms and beds
For self check in : no previous warning of the no stairs cliff that we were supposed to hike with our baggage to get to the room .( not sure if there is a service but we weren’t informed )

location ok, breakfast ok. great lemon juice
the room was too small for 2 people . Very little room and no where to hang wet towels etc . the bed and pillows were not comfortable and the aircon was positioned facing the bed so very uncomfortable to sleep with it on

Amazing place despite the stairs up, they just give it even more charm. Excellent service and staff was so nice! Clean place and beautiful view.
Would like a mini-fridge in the rooms.

kindness of staff
great, tasty, and local breakfast on the terrace
the balcony with the sea view
the only negative aspect is the ascent to the hôtel (although it was a bit of a sport :))

Staff was very nice. We could check in earlier and they were always contactable. Room very clean and beautiful and tasteful. Beautiful sea view.
Breakfast rather simple. It’s on a mountain so if you are very unfit it‘s hard to get there.

The balcony was nice and allowed us to see the views of monterosso and the beach.
This space is advertised as a bed and breakfast on a lemon farm but is more a run down building with some lemon trees that are knee high in weeds on one side of it. The lodging is located quite a distance from public transportation. The listing does explain the 80 steps to reach the hotel but fails to mention how far off it is from the train station. The room was very small and did not provide adequate space for two travelers. The breakfast was a typical small buffet but the pastries seemed burnt both days we ate there. The coffee was not good either. When we checked in we tried to pay the tourist tax but they wouldn’t accept card and didn’t have change since we didn’t have the exact amount. Later that evening when we returned from dinner another employee detained us and accused us of not paying the tourist tax. Again she did not have change and wouldn’t accept card payment. Overall it was a very disappointing stay.

Really pay attention to the distance from the train station and waterfront. It's quite far for walking and the final cobblestone hill you need to climb is really a lot. Also, I was hoping they would embrace their name and offer more breakfast elements based on the lemon groves around their location. I still think offering fresh squeezed lemonade and/or a lemon pastry would help a lot.

Beautiful location with really friendly and helpful staff that speak many languages! The lemon trees were heavy with fruit and the historic Cinque terre terraces were all around us. Our room had a wraparound balcony that let us take it all in. We arrived late at night and staff contacted me ahead of time with instructions for self-checkin, which went smoothly. It's a bit of a hike up the steps to arrive at the building, but the views are worth it. Staying outside of town was nice because it was quiet and sunny and just pure magic. The path behind the hotel that led up to the church was little-used and felt like our own private hiking trail. Breakfast was great, room was comfortable, price was fair. We would totally stay there again, I miss it already.

Breakfast was great and the staff very friendly and accommodating. Parking lot was near by. Loved the fresh lemonade made from the lemons in the orchard.
I choose the location not realizing the climb up to the B&B at the end of the day was a challenge for me. It was still worth it.

Superb view from hotel
Lovely breakfast out on the terrace
Modern decor
Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff
Can’t change it but the cobblestone walk up to hotel May be difficult for someone with walking issues - can’t have the view without the climb!

Very cute and quaint, it is located top of a hill with only access is by foot. Very difficult location if you have large luggage, as you'll have to carry it up a cobble stone hilly path to get to the b&b.
The access to the B&B wasn't easy with large luggages.

Great location! just outside of the city, but a really nice view over the lemon tree garden an mountains.
Seems to be renovated quite recently.. modern interior, all clean.
They say they are a Bed & breakfast, however, we stayed for 9 nights, and they only provide a breakfast the first night.
PS: the breakfast is 2 pre-packed (supermarket) croissants so you don't miss much.
Would be great if there was an opportunity to order a proper breakfast..
The walk towards the house is a quite long and steep 45 step stairs.. this can be quite a hassle if you have heavy bags.
