Agreeable

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. It's located very near a the road to Nicoya and Santa Cruz. The room was very clean and everything worked fine.

The mattress felt uncomfortable, the room had no A/C, the shower did not have hot water. Even though I understand they were not mentioned in the lodging's features, these are things you expect to have, so maybe say they're services not included.

A good 1-night stay for a glimpse of real Tico family life at a very reasonable price.

A great “real Tico” homestay; loved the morning tour of the compound by Shirley’s husband - a literal self-sustaining ecosystem with chickens, fish farm, multiple fruit trees.

Took much time and effort to find the place. Needs some signage on main road. No a/c but a noisy working fan.

We didn't stay bc they gave away 1 of our rooms & didn't tell us until we were on the way

Poor communication. They were not willing to take responsibility for their error, blaming it on my late confirmation and "a problem with the app". Because of this, they gave our room away. They communicated this error when I was on the plane and left us with no suitable options since it was nearly 10pm when we landed. My family (my husband, toddler and pregnant me) wanted a place to rest after a full day of travel. Disappointing

nice, clean, warm local vibe, good value for money

Really nice welcome, feels safe a comfortable and a more local experience - we liked it good value for money

- the parking is a bit small compared to the amount of cars - kitchen facilities could use an update - our door for the room was a bit broken, but we didnt mind it felt still safe to sleep and comfortable

last min booking for a quick overnight stay, much nicer option than in the city of Nicoya, and close to excellent restau

homey feeling, with use of kitchen space, fridge and free purified water! nice and safe neighborhood, beautiful flower garden, authentic local experience, Shirley is very friendly and welcoming, she made sure i arrived at the right place by guiding me on the phone, super good price!! perfect for a quick stay

way too many roosters! they started crowing at 2am, if you are a light sleeper like me, make sure to bring ear plugs.

Superb

The price vs quality, perfect, just what we needed for 1 night stay on our travels through peninsula Nicoya, hot water, secure parking, normally we do not care about the TV in the room as we just don't watch it, but as a tennis fan it was nice to be able to watch the Wimbledon final before we hit the road again 😁

It was dark when we came and the gate was closed and there was no bell to ring, if we had no CR number I am not sure how long it would take us to let the owners know we arrived, but as we were able to make the call, we had no issues. Just saying for the sake of other travellers 😉

Very good

It was simple but great deal for the price. The host was very friendly, there was a kitchen with all the facilities and a good internet.

It would have been a bit hard to find if I didn't take a cab there.

Exceptional

Host, Shirley was amazing, very nice and explained everything well. There are cute dogs and cats who will hang around with you. The vibe of the place is peaceful and calm, If I ever go to to Nicoya again I would definitely stay there again😁

It was close to main town.

It's in front of a football field. Don't expect to go to bed early. The dogs and roosters will wake you up around 3:30 am.

Think of this as an amazing home stay when you get to meet wonderful people and get a feel for Costa Rican life. it has

Shirley and her family were so kind and welcoming. I loved the garden and pets on the property. The rooms were very clean. Nambi is a very small town close to Nicoya. I was there on a Saturday night and got to watch a local team play at the futbol pitch just across the street. people were very friendly and the whole are felt incredibly safe.

i came on a Saturday night and the bar around the corner was pretty loud until about midnight. I turned on the room fan and it wasn’t to bad. you should be prepared for roosters early in the morning.

A great value and true Tika experience.

this was more like a home stay than a hotel. Shirley and her family were so nice and made us feel at home. There is an extensive out door kitchen you can use and animals to greet you. The garden in particular was beautiful. The roosters will help you get up early. 😀 The rooms were very clean and open aired. the wifi worked great. The neighborhood feels very safe and people were very kind!

I was there on a Saturday night which was great as I got to see a local team play futbol across the street. There is a bar nearby so it was a bit loud til Midnight.

Basic accommodation in a quiet village with a lovely hostess

Shirley was very friendly and extremely helpful. She met me at the bus stop when I arrived and they drove me to Nicoya to withdraw cash (to pay for the room). Apart from that, Shirley also helped me with my trip.

One night I couldn't sleep because of the noise from the house late at night. Unfortunately, this was my last night and I had to catch a bus early in the morning.

The Room was clean with personal bathroom. Susi is really nice and gave us usefull tips for our Journey. We asked for breakfast early in the morning and they provided a delicious and tradicional breakfast and coffee . The dogs are super friendly and cute.
