Giuseppe, the host, was very welcoming. Gave me informations and suggestions about the attractions. Got me a fresh cornetto for breakfast and came to say goodbye when I left. The location was perfect, close to everything.

Our host Giuseppe went above and beyond to help us out by keeping our luggage safe before check in and after check out as we had an early arrival and a late departure on this stop to Caserta. He also gave us great suggestions on where to eat and what to see, aside from the magnificent Royal Palace which is located only 300 meters from the property. The location was perfect, being on a main street full of shops and restaurants, and within walking distance from the train/bus station. We will go back!

Very comfy. The host is professional and immensely helpful. Breakfast in Italy is invariably a croissant/pastry with coffee. The owner gets you a delicious fresh hot croissant each morning. The coffee is very good, and there's fruit, yoghurt, cereal/bread, juice and lots of water bottles too. Very good by Italian standards. Very clean. The owner's recommended eating places are superb, and generally very cheap. 3.50 eur for a full-size, top-class pizza. The best pasta I've ever had, for 5-8 eur. Oh yes. Great location once you've figured out where it is, minutes by walk from train and bus station and 1 minute from Caserta palace. Caserta is a superb base for hidden gems of the Campania region such as Capua and Casertavecchia. And Naples area too.

Only minor downside is when it comes to finding the place. You have to go to the tourist info point (which is a few metres away) and tell them you're there for Roof Garden House. They will handle it. Which is fine, just a bit confusing when the map location is pointing you to the tourist info booth for some reason.
