About this house rental
Enjoy the perfect vacation at our beautiful, recently updated beach house in the Garden City/Murrells Inlet area! Our home can comfortably sleep 8 with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and an open floor plan. The home is fully furnished and very clean!!! The living room features a new flat screen smart TV through which you can access your own personal streaming accounts and DVD player, along with an additional Queen sleeper sofa, a comfortable love seat and a cozy sitting/reading area. Our master bedroom has a King bed with a smart TV and private bath. Our fun second bedroom has two sets of bunk beds (a twin over full and a twin over twin) and an attached bath. The open kitchen is fully stocked with a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, disposal, toaster, blender and all the kitchen supplies you need. Enjoy a sit-down meal at the 6-seat dining table and a kitchen counter equipped with 3 bar stools. There is parking and a small storage area below the house containing beach/pool supplies including beach chairs, a beach umbrella, boogie boards, sand toys and pool floaties. There is also a charcoal grill. After the beach, you can rinse off in the outdoor shower and foot rinsing station on the side of the house. There are also basic baby supplies available if needed. We provide bed linens and bath towels which are laundered by our cleaning crew. There are also beach towels available if needed. We are directly across the street from the beach (approximately 2 minute walk) and minutes from some of the best golf courses in the USA. Perfect for family vacations or as a golfer's paradise. The amazing beach is the widest in Myrtle Beach, offering warm waters, soft clean white sand, mild waves, small crowds and hours of family fun. End the day on the porch relaxing in 2 rocking chairs facing the setting sun. Stays of 7 or more days are the most economical way to vacation in Garden City Beach. Discounts may apply to longer stays. Rates do not include a departure cleaning service fee of $150 and 12% government accommodation tax. All stays require a REFUNDABLE $200 damage waiver deposit. Take care of the home and the $200 is FULLY REFUNDED. **Cleaning Fee covers linens for up to 6 guests. Very happy with the property. Seamless emails on time a with great detail. Great value for the money. This property is nice but ready for some updates or repairs the bathrooms are tired. Overall a great place. Would recommend a stay here.

This place was so perfect, that my 12 year old daughter asked if we could stay in the same place next year. As advertised, the place was extremely clean, the layout was perfect, it had everything we needed down to the tiniest detail. The master bed was super comfy (which isn’t always the case), the location was perfect, we loved the little pool and my kids spent a lot of time there. It is clear that the owner put a lot of time, detail, and love into this place. The owner was super responsive. Very pleased. I highly recommend this property.

The house was very cute! We really appreciated the beach items we were able to use and all the games they were for our kids to play. The coffee and hot chocolate the owners left for us were very appreciated! The distance to the beach is great!

We had a great week in Garden City! House was just as described and great for our family of 5. Kids loved the bunk beds! House is well stocked and the games/toys are an added bonus. It’s right across the street from the beach - very easy access. Location is near a few high rise condos/hotels so beach was a little crowded during the holiday week, but not terrible. Surfside has a great town area with lots of restaurants and anything you could possibly need is minutes away. Hosts were very responsive and helpful with one issue we had, and it was resolved very quickly! Would definitely recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at “The Beverly!” The house was super clean and had an adequately stocked kitchen. The location is great (across the road from the beach) and close to shops and restaurants. The owners were accessible although we did not need to contact them. Overall great experience!!

Had a very relaxing stay here. House was in a great location and was very clean. Pool was very convienant and neighbors were very nice. Only few blocks from shops and pier and right across the street from the beach so made it so easy with kids! Also thank you for supplying all the beach and pool supply it came in handy and kept us from having to buy them! Will definetly be back!

The king size bed was so comfortable which made for a great night sleep after a day in the sun. We would love to stay again!

We had a great time staying near the beach. We walked to dinner and the beach almost every day. The location was great. We had plenty of room for the two families. However, parking is very limited, we both drive F250 trucks. Getting in and out of the parking under the house was not fun, but it was doable. The house is what you expect for the money, not fancy but cute and clean. We would stay here again.

When I walked in the front door the house smelled so clean!! The size of the house and location were great too but I am HUGE on cleanliness. This was the cleanest rental I believe I have ever stayed in.

We spent two months enjoying this property while working remote to escape the cold up north. Daily walks on the beach across the street could not be beat. We would definitely rent this cute spot again.

Only 3 complaints. There was flooding under the carport after a hard rain Sunday, 9/11/22. Flooding extended into closet under the house where beach toys and chairs were located. #2: The closet was a mess with some equipment on the floor and had not been rinsed off following the last guests who used the chairs or toys. #3 The hall bathroom shower liner was very dirty on the ends where it appears it was easily folded in and just got moldy yucky. But it also had a greasy feel when I tried to unfold it. It just needs to be replaced. Otherwise, the house is comfortable and was clean. Especially enjoyed the washer and dryer…came home with clean clothes! I brought my own detergent, so used no pods, but it was nice that you offered them. Appreciated that beach towels were available, but didn’t use those either. I would stay here again without question!

120 Sunset Square unit E was everything my family and I needed for our beach vacation. The house was clean, beds were comfortable, and beach access was close. Angie and Robbie even have beach toys and an umbrella if you don't have those things to bring which I think is a nice addition if needed. They were also very easy to reach out to with any questions I had. I would definitely stay in their rental again.

The Beverly had it’s pros and cons.
Pros - EXCELLENT location. Very quiet area. Very kind neighbors. No loud parties or anything of that nature. Felt very safe. Very short walk to the beach. The only noise you really hear is the fireworks that are shot off nightly at the beach around 9pm I think it was (and I’m pretty sure this is just seasonally during the busy summer months).
The king sized bed was super comfortable. The smart TVs were a nice addition. The check-in/check-out process and key pad on the door were super easy. The guestbook seashell basket was a nice personalized touch.
Cons - the cleanliness of the place was our biggest issue. Right off the bat the front door was filthy. Not the best first impression before entering the house. The chairs on the balcony were filthy. We actually ended up cleaning these ourselves so we could sit on them and enjoy them. The bathtub in the master bedroom was dirty and the bathtub mat smelled awful. The storage closet with the beach chairs and stuff smelled awful like mildew and just looked not taken care of. Cleanliness is something that could definitely be improved.
Also, not a huge deal, but just to mention.. some things could use updating. Like the games and movies provided were quite old. The beach chairs, toys, and umbrella were definitely worn.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay at The Beverly. 😀

We stayed during Thanksgiving 2021, it was cold for us Florida people, thankfully the heat works well! Everything was very clean! Some things may be a little "dated" but that is fine considering how clean things were. You can park 3 vehicles with ease, also the downstairs storage area was nice to have to stash some larger items during our stay. Would definitely consider this property again, just probably during a warmer time of year.
