The location was wonderful. Right in the centre of Truro next to the Cathedral and river with excellent restaurants and shops nearby. Despite being above a pub, the room was generally quiet. It was well-furnished, with a brilliant shower and fantastic huge bath towel.
The internet was poor, completely dropping out regularly and making it difficult to work. There were biscuit wrappers behind the desk and my double bed was two singles pushed together. I kept waking in the crack between.

The hotel location was good. The staff was friendly.
The room was not cleaned at all during our stay at all even the covid restrictions were lifted up. I think there should be an option for guests to choose. The furniture was run down.

Splendid location in the centre of Truro. Room was clean, spacious with a comfy bed. The ensuite was good with a wonderful shower to make me feel awake the following morning!

Beds were very comfortable.
Stayed there a few times prior to COVID very nice, but now gone downhill.
Room smelt very musty, with cobwebs on ceiling, bathroom spider on ceiling, floor and bath tiles all cracked, sink cracked, kettle half full and smelt from last customer we presume.
Quite a few pounds required to be spent to bring it back to a useable state.
Bar staff would rather play with phone rather than serve customers, and very expensive.
No parking facilities and staff unable to advise on where you could park.

We were only staying for one night and it was what we needed - somewhere central, comfortable and well priced.
It could be quite loud at night, but it was a weekend and was nothing the TV couldn’t drown out!

lovely clean rooms right in the centre of Truro. I was in Truro to see Russell Watson at Truro Cathedral. We were less than a minutes walk away. Will definitely stay again

The pub was in a great location right next to the cathedral and close to the centre of Truro.
The bedroom and bathroom were clean and quite spacious. The bed was comfy.
The furnishings were old fashioned and could do with an upgrade. There were very few plugs and so the kettle had to be on the floor to boil. There were a couple of cracked tiles in the bathroom.
There is a wine bar nearby that played loud, bass music until quite late.

Nice room, especially the bathroom and shower. Good pub downstairs with real ale and food, and easy access to the room whether or not the pub was open. Location also good right next to the river and cathedral.
Bathroom windows didn’t close properly. Work needed to fix them. Signs giving detail about Wi-Fi were incorrect. I had to ask a member of staff for correct info. These could easily be sorted. I found someone else’s clothes in one of the drawers which had clearly been left behind and this had not been checked by the staff when cleaning the room. Oh, and there was no spoon provided to stir my morning coffee.

The young lady checking us in was lovely, the room very clean as was the large bathroom, We knew it was room only basis, but, for us it was a perfect stay.
I truly cannot think of anything.

Fantastic location, parking directly opposite & plenty of excellent places to eat within a few steps!
Great storage & en suite in our room, kettle and tea/coffee.
Bar staff were decent, we played pool and darts after a few drinks and went up to our room afterwards.
Unfortunately the room was filthy, dust even on the bedside tables which meant I knew the room wasn’t cleaned before our arrival. However, the bedding was fresh.

Great night away from the kids. Don't mind the noise of staying centrally. Staff helpful and nice.

Didn't like constant reminders of what we couldn't do. Wasn't very welcoming
