This unit is under new ownership and has been updated top to bottom, inside and out…all except for the breathtaking Gulf view - no update needed there! #216 is an exceptionally open and spacious Gulf front 2 bedroom, 2 bath, 2nd floor condo that sleeps 6. The oversized master suite offers a king size bed, built in dresser, desk, and master shower, while the extra large second bedroom offers two full beds and a bath of its own. The unit boasts a large kitchen with a breakfast bar that seats 4, along with a dining area, perfect for meals and entertaining. The balcony is partially covered, accommodating both those who do and don’t prefer shade, and overlooks the Gulf with breathtaking views for the perfect spot to start or end your day. For your entertainment, flat screen smart televisions are in the living room and both bedrooms. Cable and WIFI are included, as well as a DVD player. And if you enjoy games/cards there’s a high-top table perfect for play. The complex includes many complimentary amenities: an immaculate private, white sandy beach, heated pool, shuffleboard court, full tennis court, parking, 24 hour laundry with no pay washers/dryers, a board game/DVD library, outdoor BBQ grills, a picnic area overlooking the Gulf, umbrellas and plentiful chaise lounges. We are a quaint and quiet boutique resort ideally located mid-key, close to a myriad of shops, restaurants, activities and museums. It’s just a few miles from Mote Marine, St. Armand’s Circle, and the popular Bridge Street area on Anna Maria Island. Boat and bike rentals, kayak tours, parasailing, golf, fishing and so much more are all nearby. For meals, you can pick up groceries at Publix just down the street. Our condo was beautiful with a beautiful view. Easy access to the beach and the umbrellas and beach chairs came in handy. The condo was spacious and had all we needed except it would have been nice to have a few more trash bags and rolls of toilet paper. The stay was to short and we will stay longer next visit. The kids loved the books and the beach toys . It was the perfect place to celebrate my son’s life that I lost 3 months ago and my sister’s birthday!

This was the best rental experience we've had in many, many years! We've been getting together annually for over 25 yrs, and have stayed in a lot of condos or hotels and we rate this one with one of the absolute best! Wonderful people in the office (Sara ROCKS), clean and comfortable property both inside and out. The beach and water in this area is amazing!

Longboat Key is a very quiet and low key. If your looking to relax and spend quiet time at the beach, then longboat is the answer. Rental was very clean and well stocked. Loved that there were two full size beds in the second bedroom. Plenty of room for 6 adults. Two things I would upgrade.. add a love seat, not enough room for a family if they want to watch a movie or just hangout. Second even though the resort provides lounge chairs, it would have been nice to have some chairs to sit by/in the ocean. No deal breaker for me will stay again. View is amazing.

Girl's weekend. Condo was very clean, nicely appointed. The two side chairs in living room are ok for short periods. Beds comfortable. Air flow into master bedroom seemed to suit down during middle of night making room stuffy. The AC cooling was fine thru rest of condo. Sarah in office was friendly and welcoming.

Excellent place & excellent location!!
This was by far our favorite location! This condo is in a short walking distance to the beach. Literally right out the door and around the corner. Made everything about our vacation so easy and convenient! Pool was also nice for those that wanted pool time instead of beach time. Beach towels, a small cooler, beach chairs, beach umbrella and sand toys were provided. A nice touch. We have already decided we will definitely be back again!

What we originally considered to be a nice vacation in a lovely condo community turned in to an absolute nightmare. We were being eaten alive by bedbugs and had the joy of bringing them home with us after doing everything in our power to avoid it. I have video proof of the bloodstains and bites all over our legs and back. As if that wasn’t awful enough we experience a ceiling leak that landed on my husbands head while walking in to our bedroom. After calling and waiting we walked down to the front desk and requested maintenance. The maintenance crew man explained how he asked the plumber not to turn the toilet above us on, but he went ahead and turned it on anyways- leading to a flood through the floorboards and in to our ceiling. He made a comment, left and did not return to repair ANY of the wet drywall ceiling damage. We then had to call for a cleaning service to clean the WET SEWAGE WATER off of our bedroom floor. Nothing else was done to follow up- as if we spilled a cup of water while eating breakfast. Unbelievable.

We really enjoyed staying in this unit. The kitchen is large and has plenty of dishes. The queen beds in the 2nd bedroom were a bonus for my teenage boys! It was a pleasant unit with great views and easy access to the beach. The resort maintains its property very well, from the pool, landscaping and structure. It is conveniently located on the island - close to restaurants, paths, etc. We enjoyed going to the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens in Sarasota, and the Mote Aquarium on LBK. Next visit we'll go to the Ringling Museum in Sarasota. This time we truly enjoyed walking the beaches, relaxing and eating on the patio, watching the sunsets.

Overall, our stay was very nice. The condo was clean but a bit dated and dark. They need to have smart phone charging stations around the condo. I had to pull the king size bed away from the wall every night to charge my electronics and the same in the Living Room pulling out the couch...not world problems, but would be nice and its an easy fix.

This location is perfect for a family get-away. Close to shopping, restaurants and right on the beach. The office gave us another rental (better location) when our first one had some painting scheduled. We enjoyed it for a family vacation. Each unit is owned by different people, so each one is decorated differently. This kitchen had been updated for a optimal usage.
