About this house rental
We also have our Carriage House which sleeps up to 5 persons. Both units can be rented to accommodate up to 9 persons. The Carriage House is located across a 6 ft hall. See listing #238110. We are located about 1.5 miles from down town Fish Creek. We have a large area where we can park a boat or an extra car.' We have been featured in Door County Living magazine and the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. We have a unique quiet setting, yet near to all Door County has to offer. The guest bedroom has a queen bed and trundle beds and a private bathroom and private entrance. It is located in the main house which is owner occupied. Easy to relax! There is an easy chair and a rocker, card table and chairs. It has a small coffee pot, small microwave and dorm size refrigerator and TV. You are also welcome to use our patios and gas grill. There is also a fire pit . We are actually built in a quarry. This is the ninth season of rental. We sincerely hope to make you stay with us memorable. Keywords: Guest bedroom

Mary & Mitch are wonderful hosts. We arrived later than expected and they waited up to let us in and help us park in the dark. Their property is a little piece of heaven in the midwest. Great location to explore all of Door County. Highly recommend! Thank you both for a greT weekend!

We were met with a warm welcome and a tour! The property sits on an old quarry and the owners built their house around it!! The whole property has great energy!! The room was awesome.. and was quiet!! Easy to get around and away from the hustle and bustle of Fish Creek, but still very short drive to anywhere!! Absolutely Beautiful!!

The home is built on an old quarry and incorporates it into some of the walls and floor. It is a beautiful house. The owner designed it himself and it doubles as his art gallery and studio. We were greeted by both the owner and wife upon arrival. We were treated like kings. I really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property.

The cozy & spacious guest bedroom was the perfect size for my husband & I & our 2 Chihuahuas. There was plenty of space to set up the crate for the dogs to sleep in. There’s also a nice kitchen table & chairs for 2 in one corner, along with the microwave, mini fridge & mugs, glasses, paper plates, & flatware. There’s a closet to hang clothes in & a roomy shower in the large bathroom. The entire property is so beautiful & it was a real treat to spend time admiring the garden, flowers & wildlife, as well as dining outdoors on the pergola covered patio. Another highlight was getting to know Mitch & Mary & seeing their gallery! They are a lovely couple and were always available if we needed anything. We would love to stay here again.

Although way too short of a stay, Mitchel and Mary were very accommodating and welcoming. The property was perfect for our dogs and a prime location from many of the activities we had planned in Door County.

The hosts were very friendly and the home was minutes from downtown which made it extremely convenient when going out to dinner, shopping and going to the State Park nearby. Highly recommend!

We were welcomed by Mary and Mitch at the property and they showed us up the room. The room was big enough for three adults. It was well equipped with a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The beds were comfortable. We had the option of using the A/C which was nice. This was a great location as well. This is a great option at an affordable price! Much better than staying at a hotel for sure!

My family had an amazing stay at The Quarry House. We plan to come back to visit again next summer. It was clean, relaxing, and close to so many things in Door County yet removed just enough to be able to enjoy the quiet and peacefulness too.
Mary and Mitch, the hosts, were some of the nicest and most accommodating people we have ever met. It was like staying with friends we never knew we had before arriving and then not wanting to leave these new friends when it was time to end our vacation.
Our daughter was in LOVE with their dog and she absolutely begged to go back again next summer. Our answer was YES, of course.
Beautiful land, beautiful house, beautiful people, beautiful vacation. You can’t ask for more than that 😊

We enjoyed the Quarry House Bedroom Suite. It was just right for our 3-day stay. It was clean, and we liked the comfortable bed and the awesome bathroom with a large custom-tile shower. The hosts, Mitch and Mary, were very helpful and we had several pleasant conversations. A memorable visit!
