We had 2 weeks of absolutely brilliant warm an sunny weather in one of the most beautiful places in the world. Ballachulish lies next to Glencoe. Every day of the 2 weeks we did another tour. We walked the mountains and the valleys. We visited Cities at the East coast and the west coast. We met kind poeple everywhere from all over the world. Scotland, especially Glencoe conquered my heart in 2005. In 2023 Scotland set my heart on fire again. I can't wait till I return to that magical place

Hosts were very helpful and friendly. The property was nice and clean, warm and cosy, with everything you need. The location is perfect with shop, dog-friendly pub & restaurant, chip shop and bus stop all less than a minute's walk away. Excellent location for exploring the Highlands in any direction. Highly recommended and hope to be back again.

Beautiful Ballachulish
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property with our two dogs. Excellent location with lots of dog-friendly walks nearby. The property was right next to the co-op which was ideal and there was a good take-way (Quarriers) across the road. An ideal place to ‘get away from it all’. Will look forward to visiting again.

Great base for exploring the Fort William region
We have stayed in lots of holiday rental apartments but Neil and Katya's house is right up there amongst the best. It is large, bedrooms both have ensuites and there is a spare toilet as well. A Co-Op just across the road is very handy, and there are excellent places to eat within walking distance. Close to Glencoe, Ben Nevis, Isle of Mull, Oban and lots of other scenic locations. This property is highly recommended.

After an amazing day, in beautiful sunshine, walking up Ben Nevis it was the perfect place to relax. We all slept well, beds were really comfy.
We loved the convenience of the Coop which is just around the corner. Brilliant heating :)

Very comfortable and had all the facilities needed
Spacious property in stunning surroundings, pity about the weather but did manage to make the gondola ride up Annoch Mor mountain in the Nevis Range. Ferry ride across to Mull was a washout but sampled the local brew instead

Great location, great accommodation.
We loved the cottage. It was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of space for our family of four.
Neil was right next door and available for questions and help. When we mentioned it would be nice to have a French press for coffee, one arrived later that day. Our kids loved the selections of movies to choose from after a day of hiking or a rainy evening.
Location in Glen Coe area was perfect.

Great property to access the local area.
The property is in the ideal spot to access the local hills. Glencoe is ten minutes drive, Ben Nevis half an hour and Ardnamurchan peninsula is a ten minutes drive and five minute ferry away. There are also hills on the doorstep.
A pub serving good food across the road and a well stocked Co-op fifty yards away.
The cottage is roomy with a large kitchen. There is an open fire and good central heating. Very comfortable and clean with the owner next door in case of any problems. We will be booking it again.

Great little cottage for 4 people in Ballachulish.
Very clean, good location. Very close to shops. Beds very comfortable, nice lounge. A cottage with old Scottish charm.
Close to Fort William, and not far from Oban and Invarary. Easy to reach the famous Glencoe mountains, just up the road.
Beautiful scenery all round, mountains, Lochs, and big vistas everywhere you look. A golf club and cafe, just down the road.
What more could you want.
