Seaside Rendezvous worked well for our family of four, now all adults. There was enough space to be together and not together all the time. Beds are comfy. Marsh provided endless entertainment with coastal birds and fuzzy goslings with their moms. Community was very peaceful.

Easy to lease, home was as good or better than online pictures, clean, lovely beach decor, and LINENS WERE PROVIDED unlike most other properties we looked at. Checkout easy and great communication with property management.

I had misgivings about staying in a house in what sounded like a development, but Silver Sails Landing is well-planned, and Seaside Rendezvous is a lovely house, cared for and both airy and warm. We spent much of our time in the Refuge, but back at Seaside Rendezvous, the canal behind the house gave us lots of opportunities to keep birding---from a comfortable porch. Two minor suggestions: consider providing written information for the high-end coffee maker and for the TV in the living room, which we never could operate!

We thoroughly enjoyed a November weekend in Chincoteague. The weather was sensational, and this property put us in close proximity to all the best spots on the island. The house was clean and Seaside set us up well with household items (tp, dishwasher tab, soap) for our weekend stay. Also, Seaside's communication was excellent; they even responded to my inquiry about the best local pizza spot for our weekly movie night!

The property is well located and comfortable. Unfortunately it wasn’t very clean on arrival, and I had to spend an hour vacuuming and cleaning surfaces. Since it was after hours the management company didn’t respond until the next day, and offered to send someone. By then I had already cleaned. Other than that, no major issues.

We had a relaxing stay in this lovely home. We loved the screened in porch and the fire pit. The canal out back was great for catching crabs and bird watching. We needed to recharge and this was the perfect place to do that.

The house was fine, had everything we needed -- but the porch was the real selling point. We watched egrets and herons, a bald eagle, a huge flyover of 100s of white ibis, and much more. The neighborhood was quiet, the house comfortable, and the bird-watching memorable.

We rented over the 4th of July and had an amazing experience. The house is part of a small community, has a cute pool, easy walking, and a beautiful back deck overlooking the canal. We were in easy walking distance to the 4th of July carnival and even got to sit and watch the fireworks from the comfort of our front porch. Chincoteague itself is adorable and the beach is top notch for relaxing. The house was absolutely perfect for my family.

Lovely property. The house had everything we needed. Super clean, well furnished. Quiet neighborhood, but close to everything. We loved having our morning coffee on the screened-in porch overlooking the creek.

The downside: There were no instructions for the television, so we couldn’t use it. There were also no instructions for the fireplace and simply flipping the switch didn’t work. It rained and got cold, so we were definitely looking forward to sitting by the fire in the evening. No such luck. The inside lid of the trash can was quite dirty, as were the potholders (actually crusty). There were some lights out in the kitchen, particularly above the stove area. The upside: I loved the location. It was perfect. Out of the way, yet close to everything. I would definitely stay there again with the adjustments listed above. We went to celebrate my birthday.

Location is ideal: private backyard on canal with wildlife, near downtown and restaurants, easy drive to Assateague. Support staff easily reached and prompt with assistance. Townhouse well stocked with games, kitchen gear, coffee bar. Bonus with screen porch and fire pit. W&D too!

This is a beautiful, spacious house. The rooms are large and get lots of sunlight. We especially loved the screened-in porch and back yard, which backs up to a canal. It's located just a 5-10 minute drive to Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge.

It was a good experience and we would do it again. Only real complaint was that the cleaning was inadequate, and that was with the alleged extra Covid cleaning. The rental company sent other cleaners right away as we moved in to vacuum up the sand on the beds. The floors were not adequately cleaned.

Fantastic property!

A great rental home with a wonderful screened porch and access to your "own" water canal right out the back porch door! Beautiful living quarters with great decor; well equipped kitchen right down to the gorgeous tile backsplash that has sand and tiny seashells in it! Comfortable, clean and easy to stay in. The house is as shown in the pictures; actually, even better!!

Loved this property and how secluded it felt but with amenities like the screened in porch and pool (a must for my 11 yr old). We saw many creatures including a bald eagle! And even caught a few crabs out back.
