LaynLowe Villa is located on the pristine and idyllic Caribbean island of St. John, in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Situated 350 feet above the Caribbean Sea, the villa boasts panoramic views over the surrounding bays, French Cap, and out to St. Croix. Located in the upscale and quiet neighborhood of Estate Chocolate Hole, the villa is only 5 minutes from dinning and shopping in Cruz Bay, 10 minutes from the world famous North Shore beaches, 25 minutes from Coral Bay, and minutes away from the Virgin Islands National Park. The Pool House occupies the upper level of the villa and the Hawksnest Studio and Maho Suite are located below with their own private entrances and private outdoor space. All of the interior spaces have independently controlled air conditioning to cool off after a long day at the beach or hiking in the National Park. Inside, you will find modern teak and tropical hardwood furniture to provide a stylish setting with custom mahogany cabinetry and Caesarstone countertops. Outside each space you will find a dining tables, relaxing lounge chairs, and a Weber gas grill. All linens, bath towels, beach towels, beach chairs, and coolers are provided. We were 6 girl friends on a adventure trip, and we had a great time! The house is beautiful and very clean. Incredibly well-stocked, gorgeous plunge pool and luxurious outdoor shower. The location is very close to town as well and near a grocery store and gas station.
Drew was a fantastic host. On the day we arrived, he rearranged his day to meet us (we went to dinner because we had a long day and were hungry) and waited for us at the villa. I didn’t realize he was there, but he was forgiving and kind. Then, at one point, because we rented a stupid SUV instead of a Jeep (rent a Jeep), we got a flat. Drew knew the tow truck driver and helped us sort it out. We appreciated him, his hospitality and the gorgeous house. In addition to all the amenities, there was also extra sunscreen, rum, hats, super nice towels and more! Thank you, Drew, for a great experience!!

Loved this beautiful 3 bedroom villa in Chocolate Hole area! It had everything we needed. Beautiful views, great AC and Wifi and every creature comfort! Responsive Manager and Greeter.

Lay'n Lowe was the best VRBO house that we have ever stayed in. The entire experience exceeded our expectations. The house seriously looks BETTER than the photos. It was clean and every detail was thought of. The kitchen was very well stocked.
Drew, the property manager, was also amazing. I reached out to him before the trip asking some questions, and he immediately responded. He also recommended a great chef to come in and cook for us.
We didn't want to leave!!!! If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would.

Drew is a fantastic host. The villa has everything you could possible need, an amazing covered patio, sunny pool and pool deck, and amazing views. Superb location close to Cruz Bay but still very, very, quiet and private.

We loved our stay at this outstanding property. Everything was first rate, from the hosts meeting us at the ferry to the spectacular view from the veranda to the plunge pool in the back yard. The home was clean, roomy, relaxing and well-equipped. No details were spared and it was a perfect launching point for trips around the island. Potential renters should be aware that the drive to the property is steep and winding (like much of St John) and the driveway is particularly steep so this could be a challenge to some. That said, this was the best VRBO rental experience we have ever had.

My wife and I were so happy with this rental. Drew and Allison were so on top of things. It's pretty rare, unfortunately, to have hosts do so well at their job. I always tell folks that it's the details that matter, 80% is pretty easy to achieve, and those small details can push it the extra 20%. This property was spotless, very well maintained, and had anything we could want. This is the first rental in 12 years of coming to the islands that has had plastic bags, stretch wrap, and aluminum foil. Brand new pots, pans, cutlery, etc. Appliances were new or very well maintained. Spices were plentiful for cooking and a decently stocked mini-bar. Most of the time, I assume that stuff disappears with the property management folks between visits. It really makes your stay so much nicer. The beds were comfortable, pillows were plenty, the pool was refreshing and the hammock was relaxing. All of the things a vacation rental should take care of, it did. We've already been in touch about our next trip. I like the way these folks do things. We'll be back for sure.

The home is super clean and kept up. The sweeping view is amazing. The pool is on the cool side. The guys got in but not the gals. It was set up for everything we needed. Chairs coolers towels. Super convenient location for the beaches restaurant and grocery stores. We will be back.

We loved our trip to St John! Villa was perfect for our family- it was equipped with all we needed plus more! Drew was so helpful and went above and beyond to make us feel at home! Views were incredible- we spent a lot of time chilling in the hammock and pool! We cannot wait to return to St John!

This was by far the nicest, cleanest and best equipped home we have rented on VRBO. The three suites allowed our couples plenty of privacy, and quiet for sleeping. The patio, pool and common area were perfect for group enjoyment. Everything worked well, and made for a comfortable stay. We never tired of the stunning views, sunsets and stars at night. Drew and his team were very responsive and hospitable. We loved spending afternoons in the pool after a day on the beach. Absolutely no complaints. Just Wow!

Loved the house. Just perfect for my husband and me. Our hosts Drew and Allison were wonderful and very responsive. The house had everything we needed. I highly recommend. The only slight downfall is the extremely steep driveway. Not unusual for St. John.

My family and I had an amazing stay at Layn’ Lowe! This Villa was everything we had hoped for, what a beautiful home away from home! The kitchen was so well equipped, we enjoyed eating many meals together on the outdoor patio, enjoying the tropical breeze. It is a very private location, yet still within 10 minutes to Cruz bay (restaurants, shopping, car rental, groceries and ferry). The bedrooms were all very comfortable with nice linens, updated decor and extremely clean. The bedrooms and living room all had separate a/c units, which were used at night, but not necessary during the day with the beautiful breezes. Our family loved the private pool and a highlight was the outdoor shower - so refreshing! This villa also has a washer and dryer, which came in handy.
As special as the house is, Drew the manager/ concierge and his cohort Allison, were the highlight of the trip. Before our arrival, we provided a list and Allison supplied our fridge and pantry stocked with provisions. But of course we were waylaid by the airline (Spirit, NEVER again), that delayed arrival by a day, but our luggage and cooler bag w frozen steaks went to St Thomas. Not to be denied by a good challenge, Drew personally hopped over to St Thomas airport and rescued our items. Then we arrived late the next day, he delivered us pizzas, wine and the best kale caesar salad. On my wife’s bday celebration, they found a local bouquet of flowers, only to mend it with more local items to fatten it up to their expectations. And they were buddies with all the local outfits, our fishing guide allowed us a same-day reschedule no charge, unheard of. When we did make it out on the water, we had mahi on the line in 30 min and we caught a variety of offshore species with Danny at Just Fish. I became dependent on Drew’s tips and suggestions for daily outings and it was beyond any experience we have ever had. We can’t thank him and Allison enough. If you are going to any of the VI’s, just call Drew Kerr (St john concierge service)and you will make the most of your trip!

This villa is the perfect size for a couple with 1 bed/1 bath on the main level which walks out to the balcony and pool area. There is also privacy with 2 more bedrooms/baths for 4 more guests accessible by an outside stairway.
Perfect location close to Cruz Bay.
We saw deer in the yard, whales (property manager Drew texted us to let us know they could be seen from the balcony), as well as several iguanas.

Stayed here May 1st - 8th 2021. This house is wonderful. Very very clean and beautifully decorated with the art of St John. Views are stunning. Pool was great and the breeze was nice. Wildlife was a bonus.

This is our 2nd time staying at this property. The open air design makes this home beautiful. The beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. It's easy to get to and to park. It's close to Cruz Bay and all the beaches. The property manager is awesome - extremely responsive to any needs.
