About this house rental
Nestled in Mission Beach, this charming house for £424 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Property: 3BR #833 PacificSandsVacations BOOKING PROCESS Once we received your request to book, we will email you our rental agreement for an electronic signature. Once it has been filled out/signed by you and agreed to by us, we will then charge your credit card for the down-payment of 25% of the room rate and confirm your booking. No money will be held or charged from us until you filled out and signed our rental agreement. CANCELLATION POLICY (PLEASE NOTE IT DIFFERS FROM VRBO) 25% of the room rate will be due upon reservation (once the rental agreement has been signed). The remaining balance will be due 30-60 days prior arrival (depending on the length of your stay). Once paid these amounts are non-refundable. You do have the option to purchase travel insurance. We will send all details once your booking is confirmed. DESCRIPTION The newly built vacation getaway with its private patio is only 100 feet away from the bay and a 2 minute walk from the beach and offers everything you possibly need for an unforgettable vacation in beautiful Mission Beach. This is the perfect home for a family of 6 people (plus baby that can sleep in a pack n play) or a small group of mature friends (up to 4 people). These numbers include any potential day visitors. We do not differentiate between overnight guests and visitors. 1st LEVEL The first level of the house features a bright and spacious open floor plan with kitchen, dining and living area opening up to a fully furnished patio with nice seating, umbrella and gas BBQ. The kitchen is fully equipped and offers everything you need for cooking. The dining table comfortably sits 6 people. The living area is equipped with a couch, two chairs, TV and a gas fire-place. There is also a bathroom on this floor as well as a brand-new washer and dryer. 2nd LEVEL The second level features three bedrooms and two baths. The Master suite has its private bathroom attached with a beautiful walk-in shower and two sinks. The Master bedroom offers a king bed, a dresser, TV, walk in closet and a very small balcony (stand on only). The second bedroom has a queen bed and the third a bunk bed with two single beds. Both bedrooms share a bathroom with shower. SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS King bed Queen bed Bunk bed with 2 twins Pack n play AMENITIES Enjoy the luxury of AC, central heating, ceiling fans and Free High Speed WiFi. To make your stay even more enjoyable, we have provided some games, free Netflix access on two TVs (no cable), washer/dryer, hairdryer in each bathroom, iron and iron-board. Linens, towels, beach towels, blow dryers, iron, iron board, boogie boards, beach chairs, high chair and pack 'n play are provided for your convenience. SUPPLIES The house offers everything you might possibly need, including supplies such as: laundry, hand, dishwasher and dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels, kitchen sponge and of course all fresh, spotless and clean linens and bath towels. Please note we do not replenish supplies. PARKING The property has an off street parking space available that can fit a SUV and mid size sedan. Please note anything bigger than a mid size SUV will be hard to park. Oversized cars such as a Tahoe or Escalade will not fit. LOCATION This fantastic home is located in the heart of Mission Beach, walking distance from fun beach activities, conveniences, bars and restaurants. These include, but are not limited to: Santa Clara Point on Mission Bay with rentals of sailboats, kayaks, paddle boards and more. Just down the boardwalk is Belmont Park with a roller coaster and other park rides, video games, two wave houses and restaurants. PLEASE NOTE For "friend"/"adult only" groups we can agree to 4 people max and all must be over 35 years old. We absolutely do not want to rent to anyone that is intending to party at the house. We have a NO smoking and NO pet policy. Due to suffering from severe allergies, we would very much appreciate if people that plan to bring a service pet try to find a place that is pet friendly (please!). This beautiful beach retreat is the front home of a two unit property. The third level as well as the back of the property belongs to the other unit. This is a great place for families but please note that the property has a fairly steep staircase and if you bring little kids they would have to be under supervision at all times. Kindly understand that at rare occasions we might not be able to move forward if a time frame requested does not fit well in our calendar. In this instance we will ask you to shift your dates or offer you alternatives if available. DAMAGE DEPOSIT We require a $500 refundable damage deposit. VRBO IS NOT MERCHANT OF RECORD FOR PACIFIC SANDS VACATIONS We use our own website/merchant provider for payment processing. VRBO SERVICE FEE In case you decide not to move forward after sending in a booking request through VRBO or your booking can not be confirmed by us, VRBO's service fee will automatically be refunded.

Great location and outdoor area. Its really just 2 rooms given that the 3rd room is super tiny. The parking is also super tight but we figured it out.

We rented this beach house for 2 weeks at the tail end of the summer. The house was extremely clean and looked like it had been recently renovated. We enjoyed the location as it is situated almost exactly between the ocean and bay making it easy to experience both. We did bring some of our own cookware and small appliances since we knew we would be cooking quite a bit. There was adequate cookware and dishes but if you really enjoy cooking with certain pans or your own coffee maker, I suggest bringing them along if you are able. My other suggestion would be to have a rechargeable stick or handheld vacuum on the premises. The only way to clean up any sand that made it's way into the house was via broom and dustpan. Having a vacuum would have been a much easier way to keep the floors clean. The other issue we encountered was the trash pick up. The cans for the house were set in the back of the storage area behind the other resident's cans. We were told that pick up is Tuesday. But when we went to bring them out to the alley very early Tuesday morning the trash had already been picked up. And also the full trash cans in front had not been pulled out by the other tenant in the unit above us. Probably best to get the trash to the alley on Monday night. All in all we had a lovely stay!

Great location, clean property, new construction. I saw some other reviews about the parking. There is one dedicated parking space, we had a full size Lincoln Navigator L, it fit, with a couple of 3 point turns. Parking note with a full size SUV the driver will have to crawl through the back to exit and enter the vehicle.

Even before arrival, Nicole and the crew were more than accommodating to me and my four longtime girlfriends. The beds were super comfortable with soft quality bedding. Our group really enjoyed the walkability to both Mission and Pacific Beach…. A short minute walk, and our toes were in the sand. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and the pleasant, talkative neighbors. The home was well equipped with everything we needed and has been updated with a very nice modern feel. I would certainly consider this to be a place I would also bring my husband and kiddos for a stay.

We had a wonderful experience staying at this 2 level townhouse. The outdoor space with a table & 6 chairs is perfect for meals etc. It is ideal for any family gathering and is less than a 5 min walk to the beach and the bay. The location is central to everything. There is a huge outside storage box that is filled with beach chairs, boogie boards & sand toys. Nicole was outstanding as our “host” and she answered any email that I sent her immediately. We had an issue with a toilet & she responded within 3 minutes of my email. We also needed to rent a van because there were 6 people in our group and all the garages at Mission Beach VRBO rentals are very small . So we needed to find a place where we could park our van and Nicole gave us several excellent suggestions and even included a map showing exactly where we could park. Because of her help, the parking situation was a non issue for us. So don’t pass on this place just because your rental vehicle won’t fit into the garage. I strongly recommend this place.

My family (kids age 9 an 13) had a great stay at this property! Everything was clean and kitchen was well appointed. We enjoyed the location - walking distance to Belmont, the beach, and so many restaurants. Highly recommend!

Pictures are very accurate and the house is stylishly decorated and very comfortable. House is well stocked with kitchen items, beach supplies, and necessities. Property management is very responsive (tip: hold the lever down until the toilets completely flush. Takes a bit—they are low flow!). Really only downside is the upstairs neighbors are very heavy footed. We could hear them walking around on the first floor!! They don’t stay up late, so it’s not too much of a bother. But it’s particularly loud in the bunk room. If your kid is a light sleeper and goes to bed before 10pm, I’d reconsider.

Our family of 5 had such an amazing week in San Diego! The house is exactly as described. We loved the close walk to Belmont Park, Starbucks, Cafe Tropics (best açaí bowls), and Olive Baking Company (amazing cinnamon buns). There is also a really nice park for toddlers and children within a 5-10 min walk. Such a wonderful place to stay!

Location is ideal between the beach and the bay.
Parking is an issue for a large SUVr two full size cars. Secure outside storage for boards and beach stuff would be great. We worked around these minor issues and enjoyed out stay.

The unit was perfect for our family of 6. It was in an absolutely delightful neighbourhood and less than a minute walk to the bay (which is perfect for swimming for kids) and a few minute walk to the ocean side for a walk on the boardwalk which is lined with charming cottages and shops.
The unit was spotless,, well equipped, high-end appliances, bedding, etc. Exactly as advertised.
Property manager Nicole was excellent. We had one small issue which she addressed Immediately.
We can’t wait to get back to San Diego and would definitely want to stay here again.

The property is exactly as advertised, super clean and updated. We came into freshly mopped floors, never had that before from a vacation rental. We didn’t cook much since there’s so many great restaurants in San Diego, but kitchen was well stocked. We had one minor hiccup but property manager fixed it immediately, I noticed some reviews said they were hard to get a hold of, but if you text like the binder in home says, they got back with us immediately. The bay is literally a 2minute walk and ocean side is 5 minutes. We liked the laid back vibe of Mission Beach and enjoyed being only 15 minutes from La Jolla where we spent most of our time. The neighbor upstairs can be heard when home, they play piano which I actually enjoyed- but they were never overly loud and never loud late at night. It didn’t bother us. They were very respectful. Some neighbors do have signs stating their dislike for rentals; I think as long as your a respectful renter, don’t trash the neighborhood, everything is fine. We tried our best to be kind and respectful, these are their homes. We had no issues with any neighbors in fact one allowed us to use their parking spot one day. Please listen to the listing about a car, we rented a mini van which fit in spot but had trouble many days pulling out due to neighbors across the alley. You’ll definitely need a shorter vehicle then a mini van. There are two free lots close by so it was never an issue if we couldn’t park some days. Overall, house is super clean and comfortable and can’t beat the ocean right by!

Our family really enjoyed the start of our vacation in Mission Beach before a family wedding in La Jolla. The house was just as advertised and very clean. The management company was very responsive and easy to work with. It was a short walk to either the bay or ocean. We would definitely recommend this property to others.
