I was sad to only have a single night in this wonderful hotel, which is perfectly situated on Lido in a magnificent 19th century villa. Already looking forward to my next trip!

Our stay here was great. Really big rooms, private, cozy, nice view. Location is also great, just few minutes to vaporetto and many bars and shops. Only beds and aircondition need a little renovation or change. But despite that, it worth the money and Mr. Berghinz and his dog are super nice:)

The villa is amazing - it has a wonderful garden and is situated close to both the main paid beaches and the free beach. The rooms are quite spacious and have a certain charm as the entire property is a historic building. We had access to 2 terraces - one in the garden and one on the first floor next to the small kitchen and close to our room.

Sadly a lot of things were not to our liking. First of all we could bearly sleep at night due to a multitude of factors. I will detail them here: 1. The air conditioning unit: - is very old and tired - makes a lot of noise. If you turn it on you cant sleep because of the noise. 2. The lack of a mosquito net at the windows - the alternative to turning on the AC would have been opening the windows but as soon we did so we were overrun by mosquitos. 3. The beds hat an extremely soft mattress - and oddly extremely hard pillows All in all we loved the villa during the day and evening and hated every moment of it during the night when we hoped to get some sleep. A kind advice to the owner - invest in some mosquito nets and a new AC unit and this will be a 10 out of 10 location!

This is a good holiday place suitable both for exploring Venice city and going to the beach. Lido water bus station is in 5 minutes walk. The fastest water bus line is 5 which takes 10 minutes to Biennale gardens, 15 to San Marco square (Venice city center) and 40 to the railway station. There are also direct lines to the airport and to Burano (both take about 1 hour). Lido beach is in 10 minutes walk (free beach is some 5 minutes further away though). Food shop is just two buildings away and Lido main street with many restaurants is also only two small blocks away. The villa itself is in neo-Venetian-gothic style. The dining space has balcony, fridge and dishes. My room was comfortable, had its own private bathroom, air conditioning, kettle and coffee/tea supplies. All spaces are being cleaned daily. The hosts, Giorgio and his family, and also the cleaning maiden have been always very friendly and willing to discuss issues and provide help.

Beautiful stylish Villa very close to harbor and beach in walking distance. Super friendly host - very nice view from the Hotel and big rooms.

The villa had lots of character while still providing all the modern conveniences. Very clean room and the hosts were friendly.

Great location, friendly owner, cute apartment!

The double bed wasn't actually a double, jhst two singles pushed together, this was a little but uncomfortable sometimes but not the end of the world.

Great position, right in the town centre, spaceful room well cleaned. And best of all, courtesy and kindness of the owner, a wonderful person!
