Passable rooms but fantastic staff, suitable for a one night stay between flights

Staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful when we checked in, and were able to organise our early morning taxi to the airport for us for 10,000 TZS. Good location and close to the airport for travellers looking for somewhere quick and easy to stay for one night. Staff helped us with our luggage and the property felt safe, with gated entrance and security. The amazing staff were the highlight of this hotel!

No hot water was available in either of our rooms and the shower was very basic. In both rooms, the mosquito nets had holes in them. The restaurant selection was basic but passable and decently priced. Rooms were quite expensive for the quality of them.

Very good

Cleanliness, punctual (they fetched me on time at the airport) and communicated with me even before leaving SA on whatsapp, that put me so much at ease as I wouldn't have known what do do. I am grateful for that. Very nice staff the are including driver they sent me who was helpful even the next day after I had slept at the lodge.

in Overall I have enjoyed the stay as it was closer to airport which i was interested in.

Staff were alright and friendly

Overpriced compared to it's standards, Would rate it 3 stars but it is in my opinion priced for 4 stars.

very bad location, not clean

The rooms are not clean and there was too much noise from staff moving up and down. The towels were so dry one could tell they are not cleaned well

They say they do free pick up from the airport but I had to pay for it

Good price plus the receptionist was helpful.

Not the best of hotels in terms of cleanliness out there but for the price point, I won't complain. Also, getting to the hotel can be challenging.

Poor

The lodge was clean. The staff were patient.

NEVER EVER stay here if you want to use the internet. NEVER! I also ordered food. Tasted good, but took two hours.

Very good

Breakfast was great - fresh avocado juice, omelette and bread and butter , tea and coffee . No set place to eat it but it was served in foyer which was fine . Their pickup and drop off from the airport were very reasonably priced and worked well. Check-in staff very friendlly and helpful

No lift which for an airport hotel is not great as I expect many will be travelling with lots of heavy bags. Didn't bother me as I had everything i needed in a hand luggage and they kept the luggage secure for me downstairs but worth thinking about.

A very pleasant surprise

I had to bridge a 14-hour wait for my 3am flight and could not imagine spending that time at the airport. This hotel is in close prximity to the airport, they arranged for transport and - for that kind of money - exceeded my expectations. Friendly staff, clean room, quiet neighbourhood (except for the trains that like to hoot when they pass, which will throw you out of bed, literally). All in all a very pleasant surprise.

$33? More like a $10 motel

The receptionist was the saving grace of the place

Where do I begin? The room was just broke down with years worth of stains extremely small with only one socket not at all near the bed. They advertised they had WiFi, lie! No WiFi. They advertised a restaurant, they don't have a functioning one, so I had to spend extra money for a driver to get me food from outside. Breakfast was a joke of probably reheated, Leftover overcooked potatoes in tomato sauce, mushy spaghetti and a fried egg, and not so fresh sliced fruit. Who does that? What happened to toast and tea an authentic breakfast foods? The bathroom basically flooded while I was taking a shower, poor drainage - so gross. And they refused to let me cancel and give me my money back. It is daylight robbery. They tell you that they have a shuttle service, what they hide is that you have to pay $5 for the airport drop off....i thought the idea of having a shuttle is that pick up and drop off is included in the price. Not worth the price of admission. $33? More like a $10 motel. Seriously displeased.

Superb

We stayed only for 1 night after arriving in Tanzania. It was great that this place is 5mins away from airport. Personell was kind and friendly, breakfast was good.

Very nice hotel, especially for the price paid, the staff was very friendly

Very loud muslim chants at 4:30 am and the train next to the hotel seemed to be inside our room at 5:00 am.

The customer care was great, felt safe and comfortable

The location, we have to jump a trench to reach the hotel. Someone with heavy luggage it wouldn't be easy to access the hotel

I like the booking with you are process but you should inform if you want to deduct any charges.

The Hotel was good but access have big problem there so, from booking.com why they deduct money from my account it was around One USD.

You should not deduct the money from account without any permission.

Friendly and comfortable airport guest house

The room was comfortable and clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We sent a message beforehand and they made us a packed breakfast for the morning. Would stay again!

If possible it would be great if the lodge could have a free airport pickup both ways.

Rough neighborhood, loud minarets at 4:30am

Close to airport. Breakfast was plain but plentiful. Bedding was very comfortable. Ceiling fan great for mosquitoes, plus aircon as well.

Minarets start going at 4:30am. Light from corridor comes in. Rough neighborhood, although it's well secured. Receptionist was friendly but not good English, waste of time asking for assistance on things. The free pick-up is offset by a $5 drop-off, so not really free.
