- Amazing check-in with coffee and even a warm lunch. Best welcome we got in 1 month in Georgia. The lady of the house proceeded to give us food during our entire stay. - Everyone in the family is really friendly and helpful. We were even offered a ride to the theatre when we went to see a performance. - Free wine and chacha tasting offered in their cellar. - Central location close to all attractions. - We were moved to another better room free of charge, as in the first room (in the main house) there was no sound-proofing and we had a very loud neighbor. I liked that they immediately addressed the issue and solved it. Honestly, our entire experience was amazing here due to the family. I give a 9 instead of 10 only because of a few small things: Internet didn't work in the rooms we stayed in unfortunately, only in the common area. In the first room no curtain (for sleeping) and the mentioned sound-proofing issue. That's it, all the rest perfect.

The hospitality of the family here was truly overwhelming. The food cooked by the hostess was incredibly delicious, some of the nicest food we have ever eaten. She gives masterclasses in Georgian cooking so it is worth it to stay here just for the food. The entire family was very kind and welcoming and we felt completely at home here. We highly recommend this place to anyone staying in Mtskheta.

Great breakfast the first day. The host and her family were friendly and helpful. She offered us here delicious homemade wine that we ended up buying. She made is tea with biscuits and tried to make sure that we are comfortable.

It's a homestay not guesthouse. Not a lot of privacy unfortunately. The room was very cold but we had an extra blanket, the electricity was out on arrival and the shower wasn't hot.

We had a wonderful stay at Guest House Gelit. We were overwhelmed with the great hospitality and kindness of our hostess. The location is great and the breakfast as well as the wine was fantastic!
