About this condo rental
Unique situated apartment (ground floor), detached and with two bedrooms / A fully equipped kitchen / bathroom and large terrace (34m2) with unobstructed views of the lagoon / sea. Max. occupancy is max. 4 persons. Important INFO: Unfortunately, dogs are not tolerated in the complex. The apartment is ideal for summer holidays, but is also ideal for the beautiful and mild spring time, as well as the mild autumn/winter months in the Algarve. Cabanas combines Portuguese tradition with sweet idleness by the sea and the beautiful nature reserve of the 'Ria Formosa'. Bed linen and towels are available for our guests (for up to 4 persons already included in the rental price). Location: The apartment is located within the resort "Golden Club" in Cabanas de Tavira (https://www.goldenclubcabanas.com/en/location/). After a short walk in the picturesque village of Cabanas you will find a large selection of typical Portuguese restaurants for every budget, as well as bars, cafes and some shops (only 5 minutes walk). Regularly there is a market with fish merchants, fresh vegetables and other things, several supermarkets are also available in the village. On a long promenade along the lagoon, you can stroll around and enjoy the sun or the evening atmosphere. Golfers appreciate the large number of golf courses available in the area. There are four 18-hole golf courses nearby. Benamor Golf is located just outside Tavira, while Quinta de Cima, Quinta da Ria and Monte Rei Golf and Country Club are not far from Cabanas. A car is not necessary in Cabanas. For excursions in the beautiful Algarve, we recommend you to organize a rental car at the airport in advance. In the holiday resort itself, you will be expected by a trusted person who can also arrange transport from the airport to the resort. Fabulous location. Great complex facilities and only 5 mins walk to shops and restaurants.
Only negative is the mattresses are very soft and could do with being replaced, so we did not sleep well. Cabanas de Taveria is a lovely quiet slow paced environment. Ideal for a relaxing holiday.

Damp, not aired, I don't think anyone had been in it since last year. The beds were damp, we had to wash all the linen and towels as it was also damp. Condensation was on the inside of the main bedroom window. It was so damp we have to sleep on the sofa bed and when we pulled it out it was covered in stains. The apartment was freezing cold and did not warm up during our 12 night stay. The cutlery and glasses, plates, pans were all filthy and most could not be used. Avoid!!!

Le logement est trés bien équipé avec les équipements pour la cuisine et l'espace extérieur. La literie est de trés bonne qualité. Le WIFI est appréciable, par contre nous n'avons pas pu regarder la chaine TV en langue française TV5 monde

Beautiful Ria Formosa
Beautiful area of the Algarve. A fantastic view from patio area looking out onto the Ria Formosa. Lovely apartment, comfortable with everything you need.
Great quiet location within easy 2 minutes walk to local village, with good restaurants and bars. Really enjoyed taking the free water taxi to Cabanas Beach. We also had access to the facilities at The Golden Club swimming pools, bars and entertainment. We loved it and will definitely come again. Thank you very much.

Moradia catita e funcional
Suficiente para casal com duas crianças. Bem decorada, com os eletrodomésticos necessários para uma estadia sem stress, um terraço fantástico virado para a ria onde se pode descansar, tomar aos nossas refeições.
Gostava de chamar a atenção ao proprietário que deveria considerar as seguintes observações: quarto de menor dimensão torna-se claustrofóbico e quente, para 2 adolescentes, mas resolveu- se facilmente colocando um a dormir no sofá cama da sala. As camas estão em mau estado,....no quarto de casal o estrado partiu e saiu do sitio. O sofa da sala sendo de tecido branco está muito sujo...tem uma manta por cima ...mas não resolve...

Nice location and good pool area
Location is good and it's nice that you can use the resort's facilities including the pools. The house is somewhat worn-out, but it's pretty okay for most people. There is nothing luxury about it. It has a good outdoor grill and two sunbeds. There's no sunshine in the late afternoon on the terrace but the pool is not far away.

Traumhaft gelegenes Häuschen, Wohlfühlzeit
Einzigartig gelegene Wohnung mit großer, schöner Terasse und unbezahlbarer Aussicht auf die Ria Formosa. Schön ausgestattet, mit Liebe dekoriert und ausreichend Handtücher und Bettwäsche vorhanden.
Die Anreise, Abreise und Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war angenehm, freundlich und entspannt.
Waren Ende Oktober bis Mitte November dort. Es war verhältnismäßig kühl für diese Zeit. Doch konnten wir heizen und die Feuchte mindern.
Auch die Umgebung war angenehm und abwechslungsreich.Es fehlte an nichts.

Geweldige plek!
Super leuk “huisje” met alles erop en eraan op een super mooie plek. Wij hebben er 3 fantastische weken gehad. 2 minuten lopen en je bent op de gezellige boulevard. Dat je gebruik mag maken van het zwembad is ook top! Het huisje was bij aankomst alleen niet zo schoon vooral de keuken en badkamer niet. Maar na een telefoontje werd dat opgelost. Contact met de verhuurder is goed en hij is heel behulpzaam. Wij hopen zeker nog eens terug te komen.

Great air conditioning. Quiet accommodation but easy access to Golden Clubbe activities and facilities and handily placed on the edge of the village of Cabanas.
It was useful to have a washing machine but not sure it is working properly - I don't think the spin function worked. The shower grouting could also do with refreshing - otherwise, brilliant accommodation/location with fantastic view - we would return.

Super Urlaub
Wir haben vom 23.05.18 bis zum 06.06.18 bei Duarte und Pedro Pires Urlaub gemacht und waren sehr zufrieden. Das Apartment ist im südländischen Stil sehr schön eingerichtet und liegt traumhaft. Es ist alles vorhanden, was das Herz begehrt. Das Highlight ist die große Terrasse, die sehr schön eingerichtet ist. Wir hatten eine Sitzecke aus Holz, die die Terrasse sehr gemütlich macht. Auch der untere Bereich der Terrasse konnte sich sehen lassen. Ein großer, sehr guter Sonnenschirm (den wir leider hauptsächlich gegen den Wind benutzt haben), zwei sehr gute Liegen und ein traumhafter Ausblick auf die Lagune. Es waren Handtücher und Bettwäsche in mehr als ausreichender Form vorhanden, was wir so nicht kennen. Die Betten waren fast so gut wie zu Hause. Sehr bequem, mit tollen Decken und Kissen ausgestattet.
Für uns war außerdem ein Highlight, das die Strandpromenade von Cabanas keine 200 vor unserer Haustür begann. Hier konnten wir den kleinen Fischereihafen anschauen und an der Strandpromenade entlang und die Straßen darüber alles einkaufen, was wir benötigten. Es gibt in der Nähe zwei Spar-Supermärkte, eine Bäckerei, eine Fleischerei, eine kleine Markthalle, in der es trotzdem alle frischen Produkte gab, die man braucht. Außerdem gab es unzählige Restaurants, Bars, Imbisse. Es war toll.
Die einzigen zwei kleinen Negativpunkt waren, das es kein deutsches Fernsehen gab. Wir sind ein nicht mehr ganz junges Ehepaar und nicht jeden Abend unterwegs.
Außerdem gab es einen tollen Grill, den wir allerdings nur einmal benutzt haben, weil uns einfach das Equipment fehle, um diesen reinigen zu können. Außer einer kleinen Drahtbürste war nichts da, um dieses Ding sauber zu bekommen.
Das waren Kleinigkeiten, deshalb von uns trotzdem volle 5 Punkte. Wir könnten noch länger schwärmen, aber leider reicht der Platz nicht dafür ;) !

Great location, cosy living space.
Excellent for a breakaway in Cabanas. 2min walk to main restaurants and bars on Cabanas front. Access to free shuttle-boat across the bay to beach. Beautiful view over the bay.
Owner was very helpful and punctual with all questions and queries.

Super endroit et appartement très agreable
Nous avons adoré le site très paisible en janvier et apprécié les prestations de l'appartement .il ne manque rien en équipement dedans ou dehors. Lave vaisselle lave linge..plein de plats assiettes etc ...parfait ! Bien ensoleillé et prévu en chauffage d 'appoint pour les soirées fraîches ce qui est une bonne attention .
Nous recommandons et espérons y revenir .Nous sommes tombés sous le charme de cabanas .
Les propriétaires sont très communicants et réactifs. Merci pour ce séjour

Location is fantastic. The whole area around Cabanas is very clean, well kept and welcoming. Nice to be secluded from the Resort, having a quiet and private place with a stunning view. Some noise from the Resort - espeially at night time as entertainment was on almost every night... The facilities at the Resort are very good and very friendly and professional staff.
The apartment was clean and cozy with very nice rooms and bathroom. Comfortable beds and furniture and a very nice style. Very easy to book and very easy to get in touch with the contact person at arrival. We would definately consider coming back.
The beach is great, the boat service was great. Good selection af restaurants and small shops close by.
A top summer experience for us - family of two adults and two teenagers.

Sometimes there is to little room for 4 persons, but if the weather is good, this is no problem.
Out of the summer season it is better to start the heating of the house earlier than the guests arrives. It took now too long to get a comfortable temperature. Maybe the airco’s are too light for a quick warming up.
The TV shows only local stations. We can imagine that foreign guests like to see stations from their own country, or international stations, like CNN, especially out of the summer season, when they don't sit outside in the evening.
Only the couch and the chair in the living room are sitting comfortable, but the other chairs don’t.
With four persons you need one more chair in the living room that sits comfortable.
The Wifi is not in the house, but at the reception of the Golden Club Resort, a small walk from the house.
