Une expérience humaine authentique

Séjourner chez Rosanna, c'est comme être invités par une membre de la famille qui consacre son temps à prendre soin de vous et à s'assurer de rendre vos vacances inoubliables. Elle a été une vraie maman pour nous. Avant notre arrivée, elle nous a envoyé une véritable visite guidée des nombreuses attractions touristiques à ne pas manquer entre la gare et sa charmante maison sicilenne, puis nous a réservé un accueil chaleureux dans sa charmante maison proche de tout à pied mais donnant sur une place calme. La chambre, idéalement située, est très confortable, avec thé, biscuits, eau fraîche au frigo et jolie vue sur l'église depuis le petit balcon. Le matin, à l'heure de notre choix, elle nous a confectionné un délicieux petit déjeuner sicilien en s'adaptant à nos goûts. Le soir, elle nous attendait pour discuter de la journée et nous aider à préparer dans les moindres détails notre excursion suivante, en téléphonant partout pour nous et en nous conseillant les meilleurs endroits à visiter en fonction de nos envies et du temps restant, où nous procurer les tickets de bus, où trouver les arrêts, où acheter à manger. Le dernier jour, elle a gardé nos affaires jusqu'au départ du train pour que nous profitions de notre dernière journée. Après notre départ, elle a continué à nous conseiller pour la suite de notre voyage. Nous avons regretté de ne rester qu'une nuit car il y a tant à voir autour de la jolie petite ville d'Agrigento. De plus, nous ne pouvions que nous attacher à notre merveilleuse mamma sicilienne si bienveillante et cultivée. L'image émouvante de Rosanna nous faisant signe à la fenêtre reste gravée dans notre mémoire parmi les plus belles rencontres de nos nombreux voyages, de sorte que nous espérons de tout coeur la retrouver bientôt.

Wonderful old house with perfect location and host!

Very nice old house, central and convenient located. Rosana was very helpful, served us nice fresh breakfast, helped with the parking.

Exceptional

The room was very picturesque and in exceptional condition. Our hostess was extremely friendly and welcoming. She went out of her way to make sure we felt at home. She gave us information about the best restaurants serving authentic local food, how to walk to the major attractions, and much more. She really made our visit to her B&B special. She also served us a wonderful breakfast, and sent the leftover fruit with us to have as a snack later.

A wonderful host and beautiful apartment

The best part of the stay was the host Rosanna. She was so kind and took such good care of us. She guided us on where to visit in the area, and gave us a terrific pro tip to visit the Valley of the Temples in the evening, to be able to catch the best lighting and cooler weather. The apartment itself is very beautiful. We were very comfortable and would absolutely stay with Rosanna again. She's a fun and very kindly person.

A blissful stay

The hostess, Rosanna, clearly cares deeply about her guests and their experience in Agrigento. She sent many whatsapp messages recommending transport and places to go. As a solo traveler she was very kind in checking that I was OK. The true Sicilian big-hearted experience. The breakfast was also fantastic-organic, home cooked food and plenty of it! The location is quiet yet right near the centre of Agrigento. I loved my stay.

The owner, mrs. Rosanna, gave her best to make us feel like home and enjoy our vacation. She provided us with very useful information regarding the city and the nearby beaches; moreover, she provided us with a beach umbrella and other beach tools. The breakfast and the room were exceptional. The position of the b&b allows the guest to explore the city center and to reach the main tourist attractions in the area. We will be back!

I loved our stay in Agrigento at Rosanna’s property. It is a beautiful house, really nice decorated, with beautiful furniture and attention to details. The location is perfect, right next to Piazza Pirandello but very quiet and cool even with 34 degrees outside. The best place about this property is deffinetly Rossana, the best host ever ❤️. Even before we arrived she sent us information about what to do and visit in the city, bus schedule, where to eat in local restaurants and she kept doing that for the rest of our stay. Breakfast was delicious, she would prepare savoury or sweet, with fresh fruit and local juice and for our beach day she was ready with an umbrella, thermal bag and iced water. Please chose Rosanna’s place for your stay in Agrigento, you will remember the house and especially Rosanna for ever ❤️

Lovely Rosanna experience

I love the host, Rosanna. She is very lovely and welcoming. She kindly offered us parasol when it’s too hot to go to the beach. She is proactive with all the activities and meal recommendations. We felt very welcomed by her. The room and bathroom were of a good size. We stayed comfortably.

Great location, renovated facility and very friendly host

The rooms seem to be recently renovated and thus are very new and modern. Everything was super clean and well prepared for us. The location was also great, we could walk to the city center and restaurants of our choice with ease. The breakfast was very good. The host was so friendly, she was always reachable and gave us full advice regarding parking, local restaurants, and tours to the sights surrounding Agrigento. In general, a very recommendable place to stay.

Rosanna is an exceptional hostess. Very friendly and very helpful, both with assisting us to the property and about parking facilities, suggesting restaurants for the evening and places to visit after our departure. Although she speaks very little English and we speak very little Italian we had no problem communicating and spend a long time over excellent breakfast getting to know each other.

Steps to our room are steep, may not be suitable for people with mobility problems.

EVERYTHING was great! The host, Rosanna, is the loveliest person we met on our trip. She really makes sure that her guests have everything they need and makes great suggestions, e.g. on restaurants. The room is big, clean, well equipped. Room and bathroom are very stylish. The breakfast was delicious. The location was perfect. We will be back and can only recommend Rosannas place to everyone!!!

Simply our favourite B&B in Sicily!

Right in the middle of the old town, the B&B is easy to access and perfectly located in a quiet street. Rosanna welcomed us with open arms (check-in was possible anytime during the day), sharing useful information on WhatsApp ahead of time on directions and parking options. The room was very comfortable and nicely decorated, with everything one could wish for. The breakfast was also exceptional, with fresh juices, fruits (that Rosanna grows herself), eggs, pastries and filled breads...we couldn't finish it all so Rosanna packed the rest for our lunch! Rosanna is the nicest and most attentive host we've ever met, she made us feel at home, shared excellent recommendations and made sure we had absolutely everything we needed. She even gave us traditional Sicilian Easter cookies as a goodbye present. We loved it and will definitely be back!

Wonderful hostess, clean and modern room in an historic building in the old town, with a very good breakfast. Communication from the hostess was great, to include a parking recommendation that was incredibly cheap and easy, along with great restaurant options and local activity recommendations.

Wonderful hospitality from a lovely lady

What a wonderful host! Rosanna was very welcoming and helpful. She prepared us a lovely breakfast with fresh fruit including prickly pear which was certainly an adventure for us. The previous night we had some wonderful limoncello and sweets. We had to use Google translate to communicate, as we don't speak Italian and Rosanna does not speak English, but that made it lots of fun. We would love to have stayed longer at Rosanna's house, but sadly we had to fly home the next day. I would recommend Rosanna's place to anyone visiting Agrigento. It was wonderful.

Only one night but best stay during our trip!

Rosanna is lovely, we had a lot of great tips for our stay, that was only one night. We arrived by car early afternoon and could unpack our bags in front of the B&B. We had a lovely stay in a beautiful and comfortable room with a view on the small square downstairs. Rosanna advised us how to make the most out of our short stay and we had a lovely trip to Scala di Turchi and the Valley of Temples during sunset. In the morning we had a delicious breakfast with local food which was way more than we could eat so we got it in a doggy bag, borsa cani ;) Would really recommend staying here, grazie Rosanna!!

Excellent location, in the heart of the downtown, the owner was really nice, she cared about us as guests, recommended local beaches and restaurants, also brought us our favorite breakfast selections. By our departure, she also gave us a small gift, she is really heartful. From the room, we we could also see the sea. Fully recommend this place.

Very clean, nice and central place. Parking spots are available nearby for 4€ / day (ask Rosanna for reduced parking tickets). The breakfast was rich and delicious. Rosanna was a very friendly and helpful host and you can learn a bit Italian with her. :) Best wishes from Eva and Christoph!

It would be nicer if the breakfast was served on regular plastes instead of plastic plastes.

Exceptional

The b&b is beautiful, stylish, clean and comfortable. Rosanna, our host, has very good taste in decorating - the place felt very chic and all the interior had a personal touch. The location is also fantastic! So close to the best bars and restaurants but just far away enough to allow for a quiet nights rest. Rosanna is absolutely the best host I’ve had in Sicily - she was so welcoming, gave us amazing tips for the area which led us to have some great food and see some awesome sights. We chatted every morning over a delicious breakfast and even though she does not speak English we used google translate to have some great conversations! I cannot recommend enough - you would be crazy to not stay here!

Rosanna, the owner of the B&B, is an amazing and inspiring person. She loves what she does and gave us really good advices and tips. She made the experience unique and fulfilled all our requests. The place is good and the breakfast super, with fresh products from the local bakery. I wish I spent more time in Agrigento.
