Welcome to CASA SERENA, condo #6 of Villas Guapinol, located in the prestigious area of Playa Langosta and close to Playa Tamarindo in the province of Guanacaste (Gold Coast). This relaxing upscale villa is located in the center of the quiet beach town of Langosta, a small penninsula off of the town of Tamarindo. A short walk will take you to gorgeous beaches of both Tamarindo and Langosta, having over 40 local restaurants, multiple grocery stores, and shopping. The spacious Langosta vacation rental is an open concept villa with 12ft ceilings, high-end finishes, and is furnished with all the comforts of home. You can sit back and relax with AC in all rooms, or enjoy the private outdoor terrace with ocean breezes. Playa Langosta is home to epic sunsets, wildlife, and more. This area of the country offers tranquility, laid-back beach & surfer vibe, and nature at your doorstep. A 15 minute walk, short 5 minute drive or bike ride you will find the more tourist town of Tamarindo. Famous for its surf, dining, and nightlife. Tamarindo has more than 40 restaurants, bars, live entertainment and shopping. Playa Langosta and Playa Tamarindo offer some of the best surfing in Costa Rica for beginners and experienced surfers alike. Renting a car is not necessary when you stay on this property as everything can be accessed either walking or with a golf cart rental. On Saturdays head to the local Tamarindo Farmers Market (Feria) for fresh organic produce, fish, home made foods and artisan gifts. At Casa Serena you will be secure with gated entrances. There is a shared pool located on the back side of the condos with a lounging and BBQ area. In the evenings you can find Langosta Sports Bar, a local surf bar that offers deli-style food from Matty's Deli. At Langosta Sports bar you can play ping pong, pool, darts, or watch sports. Head a little further down the road and listen to live music at a quaint Italian restaurant called Zappos for delicious Napolise style pizza and other homemade Italian dishes. If you choose to stay in and cook, the condo is fully equipped with a gourmet kitchen with granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, and everything you need; large refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, icemaker, coffee bar, blender, toaster, microwave, all dinnerware, cutlery, high quality Analon pots/pans and sharp knives. The kitchen offers bar seating with 3 stools and dining table for 4 to accommodate 7 people total for meals. If you do not want to cook, many restaurants offer delivery. The living room has a 42” flat screen TV, HDMI, cable TV and high speed internet with a 100mb download speed. There is also an internet phone line with local number to contact tour operators or restaurants to make dinner reservations. The large shaded terrace is furnished with two reclining chairs and a four seater table to relax, have drinks, or play cards. Seating for patio can accommodate 6 people total. You overlook the pool and enjoy the ocean breezes. This condo features two large private master suites with queen beds and memory foam mattress, luxury linens , and all towels both bath and for pool are provided. Each bedroom has and ensuite bathroom, a large closet and storage area. The front master has a safe and 42” flat screen TV with cable. All rooms have ceiling fans and split unit ACs in each room.We do also have a queen size airbed for an additional guest if needed. There is a private laundry room located off front terrace with private washer and dryer. Cleaning service will be provided once per week. Villas Guapinol condos has 24 hour security and a gated parking spot reserved for each condo. Attractions and Activities: There is a professional property management team to assist you with booking tours, or concierge services during your stay. Surfing/lessons, boogie boarding, Golf, Miles of beach to walk and explore, ziplining, jungle canopy rainforest tours, volcano and hot springs, ATV and golf cart rentals, Turtle watching, Deep sea fishing, sunset sailing, snorkeling, horseback riding on the beach at sunset, spa and massage treatments. Loved the location! A short walk from the bustle of central Tamarindo. The condo is on a quiet strip, a few steps from Playa Langosta. The property was very clean, and well-equipped. We were able to cook a larger dinner easily in the kitchen. We loved the pool and sitting out on the patio in the evenings.

Check in process was easy, instructions were clear, host was great help. We loved staying here, far enough away from the downtown area to be calm and quiet but close enough to be able to walk to the downtown area at any point of the night! Would definitely recommend!

My 3 daughters and I enjoyed our stay at this property. Plenty of space / 3 bathrooms / close to Langosta beach. We walked Tamarindo every morning for coffee. Tamarindo is very busy with lots of activity and this property was close enough to enjoy it all without being right in the middle of it

Sometimes when you are looking on vacation rental sites you can get a little nervous about what your experience will be. All of us agreed this was the best experience we have had in all our travels. The condo was the perfect size, the best amenities, fully equipped and we met amazing neighbours from all over the world. You won’t be disappointed by choosing Casa Serena.

Excellent place to stay
Spacious apartment with nice covered patio. Comfortable couches and a well equipped kitchen. Small , lovely pool to cool off . Appreciated the washer and dryer. Had a great stay and can highly recommended this place !

Convenience quiet elegance comfort
Gorgeous high ceilings. High quality quiet AC. Livable luxury - comfortable beds, great kitchen, beautiful spacious showers, easy toiletries. Wonderful private pool - clean clear water. Very responsive and friendly maintenance/ops staff. Awesome setting - beach, mango trees, Guanacaste trees, birds, monkeys. Quiet home with access to great restaurants, music scene, and nightlife. Walking distance to surf - shortboard and longboard waves. Great ocean swim spots in the protected bay also nearby. Quiet beauty of Playa langosta with close convenience of Tamarindo.

We had a great Christmas family vacation staying out of this spot. We (couple + 2 kids) stayed here 6 nights, and all amenities including the kitchen, beds and baths were great. The property pool was great to relax in, and there are at least 2 good restaurants with great Italian food within 5-10 min walks. We hung out at Playa Langosta beach which is a 5 min walk and Tamarindo beach (short taxi ride) on 2 separate days. Both the beaches were awesome, with shallow sections and awesome views. The main town, with great restaurants and stores, was bustling with people so the place was a convenient distance away. We didn't rent a car due to our touring plans, but renting a golf cart may be useful, we couldn't as there weren't any available. We took private tours to the volcanoes and rain forests from here on 3 days, and the tours were also great. The tour guides made the drives very interesting and we often stopped to look at birds and animals they would spot. The only downside was the drive time from this beach town, as we had to do 2-4 hrs each way on each tour. But we chose this spot to be able to relax and enjoy the surroundings in the evenings and on the days we were not heading out, and that worked out perfectly. Jennifer was great, very responsive every time, and helped arrange the tours. Highly recommend this place for a beach getaway in Costa Rica! This was our first time in CR, and we will go back there for sure.

Great family vacation, highly recommend

Beds were super comfortable! Walked to surf most days, plus a couple short drives to Avellanes and Playa Negra for some high energy reef time. The internet was fast, the A/C was cold, and the people there were good people!

Nice place, great beds, sweet location!
We walked to surf every day, takes about 3-5 minutes! The beds are nice for recovering from a long session, very comfortable! The deck was terrific for breakfast and sitting outside in the evening cool down too. I streamed the NBA games from my laptop onto the TV with the HDMI cable they had there instead of watching it in Spanish on ESPN there. The internet was fast enough that it streamed just fine. It was quiet all night, but in the morning when you open the door and windows the monkeys and birds are pretty darn vocal. It’s amazing to see so much life right there where you are staying. We will be back again thanks for everything!

Jennifer was great to work with before and during our stay. Alvaro, the maintenance person was very attentive and keeps the grounds immaculate. Beautiful quiet pool and Jaccuzzi. Accommodations were as described and perfect for our party of two couples with two en-suite bedrooms. Costa Rican people could not be any nicer and extremely welcoming. Tamarindo was a lovely town with great restaurants and the Urgent Care was excellent.

The condo has the best beds I’ve ever had in Costa Rica! Great pool, incredible beach and surf!
The beds are the best I’ve ever had in the whole country! This place is on the second floor with no one above, so quiet quiet quiet! The pool had the clearest water of any pool I’ve used in Tamarindo area as well. This place has some wood cabinetry and wood doors that are obviously Spanish inspired, very artistic and beautiful condo. The covered porch was where I spent a lot of my time, overlooking the pool and out of the sun. With the window (fully screened) by the door open and the sliding doors to the veranda (also fully screened) open there was a nice breeze every day throughout the condo, keeping me cool and allowing me to listen to the birds and monkeys from inside as I worked! The AC was cold and powerful, but I only used it at night because of the great breeze that I just told you about. One of the best things about this place is that they use septic safe toilet paper! You can flush it! No need to do the stinky can thing like all the rest of the places I’ve stayed at in Costa Rica! Ive never seen that in Costa Rica before, and it makes a big difference in how the bathroom smells. No smell! I walked to three different surf breaks within a few minutes, each working on a different tide, and surfed literally every day for 10 days in a row! Gorgeous beach by the way! It backs up to a national park so you can walk south right into it on nearly deserted beaches. Or I walked north into busy Tamarindo along the beach, where there were tide pools along the way at low tide. Sunset near these tide pools was stunning. Then the restaurants and bars of Tamarindo, of course, gave up some serious nightlife. You can walk back on the road once it is dark. There is Langosta surf club, a bar, only 2 minutes walk away with cool people and good, affordable food. Fish and Cheese is maybe 5 minutes walk and is higher end and delicious! They had live music. You can’t hear any of this from the condo, it’s really quiet up there. The front door had a double deadbolt, and there was a safe inside the place as well so I didn’t worry about leaving valuables. Jennifer either answered the phone or got back to me right away when I had questions, which was handy. She seems to know everything about the area, and maybe everyone in the area as well! Her taxi guy was really helpful too. There is a guy, Alvaro, who cleans the pool every day and was there painting the building’s trim. Really nice guy, and he speaks a little English. I’ll be back for sure!

6 weeks of paradise
Lovely condo a few steps to 5he quaint store.... The beautiful beach and close enough to Tamarindo that you can get away from the busyness. The suite has everything you need and is well looked after by the property manager.... He fixed my internet within a day of being informed..... I will miss it.

We enjoyed our vacation and thoroughly relaxed . The condo is fully equipped gourmet kitchen comfortable beds and peaceful. Sparkling pool to swim daily.You can walk to restaurants the beach groceries very convenient. Close to Tamarindo with many more restaurants bars shopping.

Awesome Holiday
Great place to spend a week or two in fact months as it is packed with all the amenities of home . Comfortable and stylish. I loved being so close to the beaches both Langosta and Tamarindo a very easy walk . I would highly recommend this Villa to families , couples or just a handful of friends. Have fun !

Great place nice people
The condo came as advertised. Great pickup from the airport, met the property manager and the security guard/ gardener. Very clean pool hot tub onsite. Super spot we felt at home,nicely appointed, clean and well furnished. Everything you could ask for. A short walk to the amazing beaches and town, grocery store nearby and the local bus runs in front on the building. We spent 10 great days here. Local restaurants within walking distance. Check out the lical pizza place, Fish and Cheeses Italian and the sports bar.

Beautiful, Convenient, Safe and Luxurious
This condo has everything you could need for a great stay, short or long term. It’s convenient to beaches as well as Tamarindo town with stores and restaurants and more beaches. The owner is very helpful and checked in with us regularly as we rented for a few months. She made suggestions for restaurants and activities. One of my favorite things about this condo is the top quality beds and linens. I can’t say enough about this place. We would definitely rent here again and recommend it to anyone.

I was lucky enough to call this place home for almost two weeks and I was in awe. The property was inviting when we arrived and the condo itself was immaculately clean. It's the perfect distance from Tamarindo, but there is a small grocery store within walking distance so taxis aren't always needed. The pool area was always kept clean. We would definitely return.

Two fantastic months
My wife and I vacationed here for two months in February and March of 2017. We loved the condo and the pool and the location. Easy walk to Playa Langosta beach in five minutes and Playa Langosta has a grocery store , a rental shop, a few restaurants and a bar. The walk to Tamarindo beach is 10 minutes and you are in town in 15-20 minutes along the beach. Kathlynn the owner is very nice and William the property manager is fantastic. There are only nine units, so quiet and Alvaro the security and maintenance person is always helpful and keeps the grounds very clean. We loved this condo, Tamarindo and Costa Rica! We operate vacation rentals in Sauble Beach Ontario and have travelled in many countries and we highly recommend Casa Serena in Playa Langosta. We will return. Mitch Grant Sauble Beach, Ontario.

Casa Serena
First time in Costa Rica... did not know what to expect, but it surpassed my expectations. Beautiful villa with modern kitchen, marble floors, 14' ceiling (didn't measure, but they were tall), a/c, ceiling fans, balcony, swimming pool. You almost forget that there is much more to do outside. The beach is a 5 min walk and Tamarindo beach is a 15 min walk or a few minutes by car. Most excursions pick you up at your front door. We hung out mostly in Langosta, best tasting Pizza I ever ate, boogey boarding in the ocean and estuary finding strange seashells, and dune buggying. We did excursions: surfing, ziplining, horseback riding, excellent & diverse dining in Tamarindo and it was always a pleasure to return to a beautiful and relaxing Casa Serena. My son and I had a great time... bring lots of sun screen!

Beautiful quiet oasis just minutes from everything.
We arrived at the airport and immediately found our smiling driver. He wisked us away to Langosta Beach. He helped us with our luggage and introduced us to the security. We felt immediately at home, the condo was gorgeous with super high ceilings, beautiful decor and two bedrooms with ensuite baths high closets and most importantly they were separated by the living room for ultimate privacy. There is even a powder room for guests. Our balcony was huge and overlooked the private pool. It was very quiet and private. The kitchen had all of the space you could ask for and we had no trouble getting everything we needed at the grocery store around the corner.
We enjoyed walking to all of the beaches, watching the spectacular Pacific sunsets and visiting all of the local bars and restaurants. We had amazing culinary treats as well as finding a craft brewery right on the beach at Langosta. We enjoyed golfing at the beautiful Mariott course, and excursions were reasonably priced and pick and delivery right to the door. We would not hesitate to recommend a stay here, it was a perfect get away for us. Thanks to everyone who helped make it so easy and special.

Home away from home!
We had the pleasure of booking with Tamarindo Sunrise property management, and staying at Casa Serena in Langosta. William was amazing and the villa as described.. BEAUTIFUL. We arranged excursions and relaxed by the pool. Casa Serena is only steps from the beach, close to restaurants and shopping. We look forward to returning in the near future.

Absolute Paradise!
Casa Serena was perfect from the moment we got there! The property manager William was there when we arrived and showed us around the beautiful condo. William told us all about Tamarindo and Langosta, where to eat, shop etc. And there was fruit waiting for us too when we arrived! SO SWEET! The place was so clean and spacious, the beds were so comfy and it had everything we could ever need for cooking, going to the beach and hanging out in the pool. Oh did i mention this place had an amazing pool too?! They even had a cleaning lady come halfway through our stay to make sure everything as clean. Casa Serena is walking distance from Playa Langosta and downtown Tamarindo so you are centrally located, no need for a rental car.

5 Star Relaxation at Casa Serena!
Stayed at Casa Serena with my girlfriend for 10 days and loved every second of it! Everything we needed was at our fingertips. We spent afternoons relaxing by the well-maintained pool. Walked to both playa langosta (a 5 minute walk) and downtown Tamarindo (10-15 minute walk) to relax on the beach and enjoy the amazing sunsets. When we decided to stay-in we found the the kitchen to be fully functional--with everything we needed to make breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
The property itself felt very safe, I wouldn't think a security guard would be necessary at this location but It added to the peace of mind. The full time security guard (who is also an amazing guitarist) and the locals were extremely pleasant throughout our stay. In addition, the property manager helped us arranged various excursions and activities (highly recommend the Anteres sailboat tour) which was great for us as first time visitors to Tamarindo.
We also found the local convenience store, located just around the corner, had almost everything we needed (fruits, veggies, eggs, beer, wine, snacks, sunscreen, etc.)
We did not have a vehicle during our stay and never felt a need for one staying at Casa Serena.
All in all we tremendously enjoyed our stay and will certainly return to this property in the future. I highly recommend both Playa Langosta and this villa in particular. It was great to get "off the grid" without sacrificing comfort or convenience.

Wow......what a great time!!!
This was the first time my wife and I have not gone to an "ALL INCLUSIVE".....NO running down to the pool to get a chair....or dealing with intoxicated vacationers...lol
This place has its own private pool....security guard 24/7....and ALL the amenities that made our stay so relaxing and memorable. All the restaurants and grocery stores are less than a 10 minute walk and the locals were very friendly and the beaches are amazing!!!!!
