Short family vacation in spacious hotel suite

Die Lage war sehr gut. Das Hotel ist sauber und ordentlich. Das Tulip-Restaurant hat uns sehr gut gefallen.

Das Frühstück könnte etwas mehr Auswahl bieten (zB Gemüse oder Wurstscheiben). Es gab nur Filterkaffee oder Tee inklusive, keinen Cappuccino o.ä.) In unserem Zimmer hat man trotz abgeschalteter Klimaanlage noch Lüftungsgeräusche gehört.

Pleasant Stay

Our hotel stay at Homewood suites by Hilton was pleasant. I like that it was clean and had an upscale/luxurious feel. The decor and suite with the kitchen was a bonus. The complimentary breakfast was delicious, quite a variety of foods to choose from. The staff was pleasant.

Our least favorite was the swimming pool temp...it was rather too cold 🥶🥶🥶 so we were a bit disappointed.

The location was great close to the parliament, the room was perfect with bet comfortable, also the kitchen and fridge are a plus.

Bel hôtel bien situé et bon rapport qualité-prix.

Hôtel très bien situé à une distance où tout (ou presque) peut se faire à pied. Personnel très gentil qui parle français et qui connaît bien la ville. Petit déjeuner inclus très copieux et bon. Suite avec cuisine toute équipée, possibilité d'apporter une petite épicerie et de se cuisiner des diners et soupers, ce qui est super pratique avec une petite famille. Chambre rénovée et salle de bain super. Le divan-lit est moins confortable que le grand lit king, mais c'était tout de même ok pour 2 nuits. Grande piscine chauffée ouverte en soirée.

Le sol autour de la piscine aurait eu besoin d'un nettoyage quotidien : beaucoup de cheveux non ramassés.

Loved it.

The breakfast was good. Good variety on the continental buffet. We also loved the staff. The overall place was clean. We loved the room that we got.

The room was very dry. Overall, the hotel was very dry. We woke up both nights with very dry nose, lips, and dehydrated. We did not drink alcohol so we can't blame it on that. I recommend looking at the humidity level of the building.

I loved the hotel the first time I booked it but after the second time, I’m not sure I’d go back.

The staff in the breakfast dining were lovely, The pool was nice and warm and the morning staff at the checkout were amazing

There was a gentleman at the front desk the evening that we arrived that wasn’t very welcoming, he proceeded to make us wait for quite a while and ended up giving us a different room from what was asked for( I requested for a room with a bath tub from my booking).

La qualité au centre d'Ottawa

La localisation est parfaite, en plein centre. Se garer en ville est compliqué donc le parking est indispensable si vous avez une voiture. Il y a un ascenseur qui va directement dans l'hôtel c'est parfait. Les chambres sont très spacieuses et qualitatives. Le petit déjeuner est complet et très bon, il est servi à partir de 6h. Allez y sans réfléchir c'est un super hôtel !

Rien à redire tout est parfait.

Quelques petits inconvénients, mais somme toute un très bon séjour, on y retournerait.

Le personnel exceptionnel, la grandeur de la chambre, la piscine, les déjeuners.

Le prix du souper est plutôt élevé, le divan-lit peu confortable et certains produits comme le shampooing étaient vides.

Travel is very costly for a family now adays and I will come back because the rates are affordable.

I was very impressed with the Kitchen (full fridge, stove, oven & microwave) in the rooms and I was also very impressed with the mattress (both on the bed and the pull out couch). comfort on the pull out couch was very impressive.

My only constructive comment would be if there was a 24 hour free coffee bar by the water and lemon set up. By all means, not a deal breaker but it would be nice.

Personnel ne parle pas français. Aucun espace de stationnement a pars celui de l’hôtel (25$ / jours) Douche mal propre avait des poils … Plancher de la piscine sale.

The location and that it is pet friendly

The noise levels in the hallways. And we weren’t allowed to leave our pet in the room, yet we could go down with him for breakfast which was a challenge

Overall, a very good stay. Just the breakfast was a disappointment.

- The room was nice, clean, and comfortable. - The pool facility was very good. - The laundry facility was good (I needed to add a detergent dispenser; fortunately, I had my own). - The staff were kind, courteous, and helpful.

- The wifi was slow, and attempting to charge for faster speed is ridiculous. I travel globally, and only in Canada do I encounter charging more money for faster internet. Please reconsider this flawed policy. - The breakfast was awful. It's not a good experience eating pre-frozen fare that's heated up. - Highly processed pastries and muffins that I passed on. - Pre-bagged cut melon pieces that were outdated and kind of slimy - Coffee tasted like it was instant - Having waiters for a self-serve breakfast format was okay, but then giving me a bill that says "complementary" (it was pre-paid) and begging for a tip seems off. I am happy to tip the staff - just not in this way.

Excellent rapport qualité-prix pour visiter Ottawa

Hotel tres bien situé offrant un excellent accueil/service de la part du personnel. La suite était immense et très propre. Gros plus pour avoir eu une suite au dernier étage avec vu sur la rivière :) Le déjeuner était aussi très bon. Très facile d'accès pour se rendre dans le centre, encore plus agréable de le faire en trottinette électrique :)

je n'ai pas de mauvais commentaires autres qu'à certains moments, beaucoup de gens attendaient après les ascenseurs et causait une longue file d'attente.

Being asked for tip for the breakfast once we sat down, despite being included on our rate, bath slippers and bottles of water were not provided. Breakfast could be better.

Exceeded my expectations in all aspects.

The room was well appointed. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. All the staff were extremely kind and helpful. The breakfast buffet was typical selection but I especially liked the comfortable seating in the restaurant and that each table contained a pot of coffee ready to pour and enjoy.

I liked everything. Parking was a bit pricy so perhaps you could consider free or discounted parking to Hilton members
