The Palace Elisabeth is a beautiful hotel with excellent customer service. In fact, probably the best service I have experienced at a hotel. The staff is very positive, friendly and helpful. They go the extra mile to make sure guests feel comfortable and taken care of.
The hotel's location on the seaport is convenient to the center of town, restaurants, cafés and bars. Our hotel room was beautiful and had great views of the seaport. Breakfast was absolutely delicious - I highly recommend the eggs Benedict with ham or salmon. The truffled eggs were also very good!
My two pieces of feedback are that it would have been nice to know in advance that there was luggage pickup from the ferry port so we didn't have to drag our heavy luggage to the hotel. We found out thereafter and took advantage of this service on the way back to the seaport.
Also, the hotel suggested and booked a dinner for us at a restaurant which was supposed to be excellent, but both the food and service was terrible, so we paid, left our food on the table and returned to the hotel. After speaking to guest services and sharing our experience at the restaurant, we went on to have dinner at the hotel's sister restaurant down the pier which was very good. Based on the experience we had, I expected the hotel to discount or comp the second dinner at their partner restaurant, but they didn't offer which was disappointing.
Aside from this, the experience at the hotel was great!

it’s luxurious all the way. i believe the best in the island. beautiful!
the gym was insignificant for such hotel, they should definitely work in it. the rooms are really tight, we booked d the second category and for a long stay it would have been uncomfortable.

everything was perfect! the breakfast, location, decor, hotel scents, and staff were all super. this hotel elevated our Hvar experience
just that the pool didn’t get any sun and wasn’t outdoor- it was too cold to swim in it

The breakfast was amazing, great selection of beautiful food and we loved the oysters. Service is great, very nice people. finally the central location is ideal.
Our room was very small and we expected more for a price of 500 euros per night.
Also gym is very small.

Everything about the property is excellent. Service was some of the best we’ve received in the world. The beds are so comfortable and the turndown service enhanced our stay.
Only minor critique is the pool gets no sun.

location, cleanliness and most importantly the staff’s effort doing their best for us to get the best experience!
need to offer transportation or making sure the guests know how to get to the hotel. We landed @ Split airport and we had relied on the Taliso ; Taxi company to take us there ; unfortunately they took us the longest way to get to Hvar by ferry with the taxi and the driver who drove is from the other side of the Hvar . Following the GPS our driver has hard time to find the address little we knew he dropped us up behind the hotel . The hotel experience was so great that it was well worth the hassle.
But could’ve easily taken the boat from Split instead of the feeey which drops the passengers right the port located by the hotel.. much shorter easier route from Split to Palace Elisabeth Hvar, Herritage Hotel.

the staff could not have been any better. i had an accident whilst on the island and they went above and beyond to make sure I was looked after and got the right treatment. Despite being right on the Riva amongst all the hustle and bustle of Hvar, even when you’re on the bar terrace looking out to the harbour, it’s incredibly quiet and you feel super secluded. the facilities, the food (breakfast especially!), the location, and the team make it a very special place.

My wife and I were honeymooning in Europe for 2 weeks, out of our 3 destinations (Santorini, Sorrento and Croatia) this was the best hotel we stayed in (and we stayed in several 5 star hotels).
Hvar itself is a dream destination, but the hotel single handedly made the experience go from great to fantastic.
