House was well located and easy to tour from. The property managers were responsive to an electric issue and took care of it immediately.

This cottage was a perfect spot for our family to spend a few summer days in Black Mountain! We loved the large wrap around screened porch and spent much of our time there. The indoor spaces were also spotless and welcoming. The host was very responsive and accommodating. We will definitely book this spot again in future travels. Charlotte N.

The porch is amazing! We spent a lot of time out there. Property was clean, homey, nicely decorated. Beds were all comfortable, great shower in master bath, good gathering spaces. We will definitely try to book again when back in Black Mountain.

Our third visit to Creekside Cottage. We fall more in love each time. Only critique is that there is a lot of traffic on the highway and we experienced some very noisy neighbors. The accommodations and appointments at Creekside Cottage are second to none!

We booked this property due to its proximity to a conference at Montreat that we were managing and wanted a comfortable, homey location for our 10+ day stay. This property met and exceeded every expectation - impeccably clean home, well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and beautiful grounds. We plan on booking it again for next year.

Stayed here a week ago (mid-March). The owner put a lot of thought and effort into the decor. Little antiques like a wooden rocking horse and antique lamps and vanities gave the house a cozy and classic feel. Yet you still had all the modern amenities that you have at home, e.g., smart televisions in the living room and den, and strong wifi throughout the house. The kitchen was fully equipped. It was as if the owner thought of everything. She even provided graham crackers, chocolate, and marshmallows to make smores...a truly special touch. We enjoyed the fireplace, and the firepit out back was a plus. The owner even provided the wood. We couldn't ask for more. The house is located in the quaint town of Black Mountain. It was only a 15-minute drive to Asheville. As much as we liked Asheville, it was nice to come back each evening to the calm and quiet of a small mountain town. It is also only an hour from Smoky Mountain National Park, which wound up being a highlight of our stay. We drove down from NJ. The grandparents drove up from Florida. Great place to meet up for a family get-together.

We enjoyed our stay very much! The property was more than we expected. The property manager was very responsive and did what was needed promptly. We will be back to visit again!

The house was great--well stocked, very clean. Landscaping was beautiful; sitting on the porch in the rocking chairs was great. It was just the two of us so we had lots of space! Enjoyed visiting the surrounding area. When we go back, we'll definitely stay here.

This property is very clean and well appointed. We enjoyed the double sitting areas for early morning coffee or evening relaxation. This home is an easy ride and close to area nature trails and attractions. The corner market store is convenient and even had half and half for coffee which we really didn’t expect. The main grocery store is also conveniently located. We would stay at this property again if the opportunity arose.

The cottage was clean, spacious, and provided all of the amenities and comforts of home. The property was located in a secluded area, with very little noise or activity from surrounding properties. We enjoyed the tranquility of the surroundings, the beautiful, well-maintained yard, and the neat little stream that meandered through the property. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing vacation. The front screened-in porch and beautiful yard were the highlights of our stay.

Was just wonderful

Nice place overall. Was good to have a living room type area at the opposite ends of the home. My husband and I could read and pray in the mornings and our kids had the other room to hang out/watch tv.

Good size house with lovely screened porch, large sloped yard with a small creek. Average stocked kitchen utensils, pots, pans, etc. Good instructions throughout for TV, wifi, etc. Somewhat fussy furnishings, we had a toddler visitor & put some things away during his visits. He was closely monitored so as to not endanger some of the antiques & to ensure his safety. He loved the kid sized chairs! Close to Black Mountain. Some road noise, but very quiet neighborhood otherwise. Would stay again.

Location is fantastic and is quiet. We went for Biltmore Christmas and our parents and friends absolutely loved the place. Would recommend different mattresses for the bunk beds, perhaps some updated amenities such as lamps, and we had difficulty with the wood burning fireplace and could not use it (the seasoned outdoorsy gentlemen of our company could not get it to work properly). Overall it suited what we needed and were looking for despite the above.

We found the location to be perfect. It is close to downtown Black Mountain and there were many hikes and walks that are only a short drive from the cabin. The cabin is well stocked. Our family, consisting of 2 grandparents, our daughter and husband, and 2 grandchildren, were very comfortable. The fireplace and firepit were used on those cold nights. The best part is the large screened porch. We will stay here again the next time we visit Black Mountain.

This is a lovely quiet home. It had a great outside porch and a nice area in the back with a fire pit and firewood. Everything we needed was already at the house. The owners were wonderful to deal with. We had a mishap by locking ourselves out of the house and they were quick to respond. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone visiting the Black Mountain area. Close to town and other attractions.

The rental is the cleanest we have rented. Having everything on one level is great (no stairs). The house is very spacious with a large front porch. The yard (over an acre)has a creek, swing, fire pit, gas grill, and patio creating a great outdoor setting. There were evening "fixin's" for 'smores. Very impressed with the property. We will definitely look at future rentals. It is also convenient to Black Mountain as well as Asheville.

We enjoyed eating on the patio and the wonderful views. This was our second time at this home and we will be back!

We had a marvelous time. My husband and I took my daughter visiting from Denver and my elderly parents with us. The house is all on one floor which was great! The property is well-maintained and the cottage is very well stocked with all the necessities. We thoroughly enjoyed the screened in porch and the grounds surrounding the house. It is also close to restaurants, shopping, Lake Tomahawk, and Asheville. We loved it!

Thank you for the opportunity to stay in your house. It was all it was advertised to be - super clean, perfect size, awesome screened porch, and a serene and relaxing setting. It was exactly what we needed for this trip. Lazy mornings, small excursions, then relaxing on the deck in the evening listening to the night sounds. The house was very clean. The home owners thought of everything! The kitchen was well-stocked, the beds were comfortable, the porch was lovely for yoga or reading a book, the big kitchen table was perfect for games and the fire pit was so nice. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. The whole experience was wonderful!

We traveled from Texas to stay for a week with our family of 6. My 4 boys had fun exploring the property and playing with toys and reading on the front porch. We loved the house and the town of Black Mountain. You've got to try the shrimp poboy at the food truck at Black Mountain Brewing!
