Get ready to enjoy the best of Martha's Vineyard with a stay at this wonderful first-floor suite at the Island Inn! Located just half a mile from the beach, a stay at this rental also includes access to three Har-Tru clay tennis courts (with on-site professional lessons) and a shared outdoor pool. The Island Inn lies just south of the community of Oak Bluffs, on the northeastern tip of Martha's Vineyard. You'll have your pick of three of the island's most popular beaches, including Joseph Sylvia State Beach, Inkwell Beach, or Oak Bluffs Town Beach, and next door to Farm Neck Golf Club's 18 holes and beautiful 256 acres of terrain. But there's plenty to keep you and the family entertained even without leaving the Inn! Splash around in the shared pool or get in an invigorating game of tennis at one of the on-site courts. When you're ready for a break, head back to your private condo, where you can watch TV, fix a snack in the full kitchen which includes silverware, plates, cups, cooking pans, and utensils, or use the WiFi to catch up with friends back home. Other amenities include shared washers/dryers, a picnic and barbecue area, as well as a firepit area. Tennis courts, plus racquets, and ball rentals are available at the Pro Shop. Tennis is available from May 15th through October. The seasonal pool is guaranteed to be open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. There is also a lovely on-site restaurant that is unaffiliated with the Island Inn. THINGS TO KNOW The fireplace is not operational. One of the sleeping spaces is a semi-enclosed sleeping space, separated from the living room by a half-wall. It is not a full bedroom. If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 21 years of age to book. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation. Loved the location - easy access from bike path to oak bluff, Edgar town and beaches. The apartment was spotless and the staff kept the place clean throughout our stay - even washing the dishes that we had left in the sink. Only negative was lack of soundproofing in unit. Like other guests mentioned, the creaking above from guests walking on floors, noise through the walls on either side of us, plus corridor noise made for some noisy evenings. Loved the pool and easy access to Normans - they had lots of great programming in the evenings (henna painting) and kids games - so very family friendly.

Great amenities! Heated pool, tennis courts & a dog run which was used daily. Two bathrooms and and a nice small kitchen were much appreciated. The beds were super comfy. Having Nomans restaurants on the property is extremely convenient!
There is a large amount of traffic going in and out of the building late at night and the walls are very thin. Other than that a great stay.

I’ve been here several weeks… the unit (33G) has been fabulous - very well appointed and comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the Island Inn. Pictures online of property/grounds we felt didn’t do it justice. Extremely well kept. Staff is wonderful and helpful, especially housekeeping - TOP NOTCH!!! I wouldn’t hesitate to come back and stay here instead of a cramped inn with not nearly the amenities. And then there’s Noman’s right next door. Everything I’ve tried has been delicious including their Mai Tai’s. Always busy!! Great place for people with young children. Live music a plus. I had my car here so didn’t use the MV transit authority which stops right across the street. Again, I couldn’t see myself staying anywhere else - so glad we chose this place!

The only problem was the upstairs flooring was very noisy when walked on and annoying to hear.

It was Awesome that it was dog friendly, clean, had amenities, comfortable beds, nicely decorated and nice layout.

Upon entering the apartment I instantly loved it. It was Very clean, Very inviting regarding the decor and faux beams and the layout. There was enough seating and al beds were Very comfortable! All utensils that you could need and enough towels for all of us. The night before we left at 2am was very disappointing due to the room next to us having extremely loud yelling, slamming of their doors and what sounded like running down the hallways. I finally opened my door and told them to knock it off!!! Be aware that whoever sleeps in the living room will hear sqeaking all night from the beams overhead that rub together whenever someone above it walking. Other than that, the apartment itself was outstanding.

Updated and clean room with just the right size for a family of five. Nice amenities and great restaurant immediately next door. Can catch island bus right at end of drive otherwise best to ahve bikes to get to Oak Bluffs. Definitely would return

Nice pool and tennis area as well as plenty of safe grounds for families to gather. And having the eatery on property is a win! Great stay! Will come back again!

We had a nice four nights at the inn overall. I will say given the current pandemic I felt that it could have been a bit more thoroughly cleaned. I wiped down surfaces myself when we first got in. The location was great and there were plenty of bike racks for our bikes, the kids loved the pool.

We loved the upgrade room we stayed in which included the best appliances and beautiful interior. The staff is well trained and friendly and the food Delicious. And The quiet and long Beach Road beach is walking distance to Beach Road beach

Sound proof ceiling from noise above
A heavier insulation to sound proof above floor noise would really help. The place was really nice!

Deceptive photos of property
I have rented many times from vrbo and always had apositice experience except this time.
The photos ad admitted by the manager made 8t appear there were treea and grass views.
There was not 1 eindow only a screened sliding door facing the concrete road olin with frequent xars up and down the hill.the bedroom had no window and rge temperature with a fan on was 86f
The vexroom tv was not working properly the resolution was off so the picture folled aboit 3/ of the screen 2 people triex to fix it but coulxnt.the befroom was tiny with barel room to pass in front of the bed.
Thanks for ssking the 25 motorcyckes the first half of our stay made the room view even more unlike the vineyard

Island Inn's 33G fit the description and reviews perfectly, which enabled us to really relax and enjoy our time without policing the place where we were staying. In particular, we couldn't be upset about the loud mechanical sounds we heard at night because we knew what it was (air/fan) and were expecting it. Check-in and check-out were super easy, and there's free coffee! Vending machines outside the building were most appreciated. The location was great - away from the center of town, but close enough (we had a car). We were within striking distance of the Jaws Bridge and the Inkwell on the way to Ocean Beach and Circuit Avenue. Nomans Restaurant right next door was a plus. Although we didn't have an opportunity to eat there, the selection and the prices looked good. Super cute and clean, if/when we return to Martha's Vineyard, we'd be happy to stay here again! (The fire escape hatch in the bedroom - leading out to the hallway - is so cute that we're considering adding one or more as we remodel our house, lol!)

Great Unit for a Small Family
Spacious, clean, and charming decor! We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this unit for families. Loved that our pup could join too. Only issue we had was that there is no AC in the bedroom, only a ceiling fan so it was warm in there. Also, the noise from the hallway carries into the bedroom so it’s a good thing they enforce quiet hours after 10pm. Overall great stay.

The location, home, and overall experience were top notch. I didn’t know we’d even have daily housekeeping in the mix. This must be the best bargain on the island!
This particular unit was very well done, maximizing the space. There was even a small dishwasher in the kitchen...
We couldn’t find any K-cups for the Keurig coffee machine until we’d bought some instant coffee, so you might like to know there are some in the office. Now we know for next time.
One of the two lights in the bedroom bathroom had a super noisy fan, so we just used the other light in that bathroom. That’s literally my only complaint, so of course we’ll still give it 5 stars. :-)

I could not believe that I could get that very reasonable rate on that weekend. I was skeptic in the beginning.
