This older apartment complex is home to many permanent residents, mainly young, and these Princeville condos provide some great amenities like pool, jacuzzi, and barbecue grills. Check in and check out was super easy. This apartment had all the basic necessities and was spotless clean. The bed mattress has a prominent sink hole and higher quality shampoo and conditioner would have been appreciated. Overall, my stay was comfortable, met my needs, and was a good value.

The property grounds are amazingly beautiful and well kept. The condo itself had everything you might need on a vacation. It felt like a home away from home after long days of sight seeing, hiking, swimming... It is far from all the main island attractions. If you stay here, be prepared to make at least a 45 minute drive to any attractions beyond Hanalei Bay.

It looked just like the pictures..had just the basics, which was fine for me.The pool and hot tub were great ! We were there to hike, so at the end of the day, the hot tub was great for my legs and feet !! Swimming pool was very nice. Located close to store's in Princeville, which was convenient.

We stayed here for a little less that 3 months.It was one of the cheaper places we found! It did suite our purpose, but there are some things that could have been better- needs new carpet/flooring- whats there now is badly stained.Yes, there is a nice new mattress, but the box springs are ancient and causing the mattress to collapse in the middle already. The kitchen is usable, but the pots/pans are a bit on flimsy side- we ended up buying a few things to make cooking there easier.Needs a paint job, and the couch either needs legs- or replacing.The grounds were awesome though- nice pool.The upstairs nieghbor was a bit heavy footed, but we got used to it after a bit. The housekeeping staff was awesome, as was the management staff- communication was spot on.The roku tv was useless to us, but the internet worked great.Despite the drawbacks, we’d probably stay here again.

(it should be great for you now.) the internet was a continuing challenge (roku is awful) and the neighbor next door was also having similar problems. spectrum came and went but still no internet. the kitchen was great and the washer dryer a dream. the management team was great but the unit could use a fresh coat of paint, new curtains where the curtain rod does not fall as you close the curtains. the location was perfect for us but the condition of the property itself was very very disappointing.

The kitchen is sparsely stocked, so be prepared for simple cooking or purchasing your own spices. Communication was poor and unresponsive but we made do and had a great time! Thank you for the safe place to rest our heads. Washer/dryer and dishwasher was super awesome to have in rental unit !

The apartment is just as described. I think it is great for a solo traveler or a couple. I worked from home here and is was good. The complex is generally quiet. However, you are right next to to the pool, so when there is someone in the pool, you'll know it. Quiet hours are from 8pm to 8am. The pool is closed during quiet hours. The neighbors are very respectful of said quiet hours.
It tends to be quiet, which would have been perfect, but the upstair neighbor is currently remodeling her kitchen. This made working very difficult. I assume this work will continue into Summer 2021. If you're concerned, I would contact the listing party.
Another issue is the bed. It has a dip in the middle of the end of the bed, making it uncomfortable. It needs to be changed ASAP.
The parking is also very close to the entrance, which is nice when you're packing for a long day.
The apartment offer some nice supplies, like a large lunch box/small cooler, 2 beach chairs, a parasol, 2 sets for snorkeling, etc.
The location is nice since the North Shore is pretty undeveloped. The complex is essentially in the middle of a golf resort. If you want to feel like you're in Florida, then this is the place for you. There is no walkable beach location. You will need a form of transportation, unless you like walking a couple miles.
Shopping and restaurants are limited. Hanalia and Haena are really nice and close by. On the Saturday, there is a small farmers market near the apartment. There is enough for what you need. I found myself driving out to Kappa'a more often than not.
This is managed by a a third party rental agency. The agency is very responsive and generally helpful.

The unit we stayed in wasn’t great. The carpet was dirty and desperately needs to be replaced (it stank in the living room), the dishwasher needs to be replaced (very old and the top drawer kept falling and is not repairable) and the toilet kept running (figured out how the handle needed to be left after flushing so that it worked properly). The unit needs some updating. They asked if it was an urgent problem and I said no, as there was really nothing they could do about it anyways. I would definitely rent from them again, but will look for a place with tiled floors next time.

Would absolutely stay here again- we love this location in Princeville for easy access to the market, to Hanalei, beaches and our favorite snorkel spot, Tunnels! This unit is great for people who want to grab groceries and cook at home on occasion, and like a clean relaxed atmosphere. Very near to the pool and hot tub (completely gated so no need to worry if you have kids) and the parking is just outside so easy access if you have mobility issues. Wonderful space in a great location
My partner and I had a great time in this quaint and very clean condo. It is walking distance from a few of our favorite beaches, the golf course, and the Princeville town center/food market. There is a beach umbrella, a cooler, and two beach chairs that came in handy as well. The porch is located right next to the community's pool/grill, and it's nice to sit out and have your morning coffee or an evening drink and watch the sun set. Overall a great place for anyone looking to stay on the north side of Kauai.

Everything was fine. Locks on some of the doors need some work to them. The spa at the end of the day was very handy after surfing all day.

The condo is very spacious and well maintained. A running/walking trail is right outside and the convenient shopping center with a grocery store is a short 5min drive away. The kitchen is very well equipped, although a few basics like aluminum foil, baking sheets, and spices would have been appreciated. The large fans were great at keeping us cool but occasionally woke us up from rumbling loudly. Our only concern is the stovetop may have a grounding issue. We had to handle the pots and pans with a towel while cooking to avoid being shocked from an electrical current.

Nice Spot
We had a great time. Decent Location, perfectly comfortable. No AC, but with the fans on and windows open we didn't really need it. The pool and hot tub are really nice and they are right off the back porch.

Sandpiper unit was nice. Pool and jacuzzi were clean and seldom crowded. Only problem we had was the upstairs unit leaked water through our ceiling during our stay. Someone came quickly to assess the damage, but I think we should have be refunded at least one nights stay since it took three days for the carpet and couch to dry. Lock box for the unit is located in a difficult place to access in the dark.
