We had an excellent stay. The house was just perfect for us. Rooms were spaceous and kitchen had everything that we needed. It has all the gear needed for a perfect beach day (chairs and coolers). Patio was nice and well maintained. Make sure to bring mosquito repellent or buy insect killer spray.

The property manager, Ron, was very courteous and helpful (for a fee he drove us from the ferry to the rental car location.) The house was as advertised and had a beautiful view. It's a small island and it was nice to be central to all the tourist spots. The only major negative was the neighbor's guard dog barked from 9-2am one night and the next night from 2am-5am which left for little sleep. The beach chairs, coolers, and full kitchen were helpful. Bring your own toiletries (they do have a few travel bottles of body soap,) but there were bath and beach towels available.

I really enjoyed this property. We had everything we needed, things worked well and liked the openness of the rooms. Ron, the property manager was great and checked in on us a couple of times. I liked all of the trees and flowers on the property and it was well kept. It was fairly quiet compared to the place we had in Esperanza previously. It was located close to everything we wanted to do. Great place for us!

I do recommend getting a car and booking one around the time you book your trip as they book up quickly (we learned that fast lol). It’s definitely easy to get around on foot but with the location of the house it’ll be easier to drive if going to one of the beaches or into town. But once in town or at one of the beaches, walking is quite convenient. Lots of mosquitoes but proper bug spray & bug zapper (in house) are very helpful. Overall stay was 10/10!

I was very impressed with how well the house was setup. We had everything we needed, aside from groceries. There were beach chairs, tumblers for drinks, games...you name it. The air conditioning is much appreciated if you aren’t acclimated to the heat, but there are plenty of Caribbean breezes to keep you cool as well. The sleeping arrangements were also very accommodating for my family (husband and I plus 4 teenagers). Additionally, the outdoor shower was a nice feature so we weren’t all waiting on the one inside. Get some real bug spray with deet though bc the mosquitos can be quite annoying while you’re trying to enjoy the sun deck in the backyard - we spent lots of time out there relaxing and admiring the ocean views. Only unwelcoming thing we experienced is the next door neighbors have several outside dogs - and one that had just had a litter of playful puppies that like to cue up at night and howl at the moon LOL. They are guard dogs and very protective, but started to warm up to us and didn’t feel the need to bark as much after the first few days. At the same time, we appreciated them protecting their family, and they very much minded their owners. Other than that the central location of the neighborhood makes it very convenient to get to anywhere you need to go. Plenty of restaurants and beaches close by (within 10 mins on a golf cart). Property caretakers were highly responsive and kept in communication to ensure we were enjoying our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Centrally located simple home comfortable for a family. We were 4 adults and 2 kids for several weeks. Close to the best supermarket on the island. Semi-rural location with a big yard--a car is mandatory. Halfway-up the slope catches the breeze--we didn't use any AC in Dec/Jan. The outdoor shower is great--keeps the beach sand out of the house, and it's a joy to shower outside! I didn't consider it when booking, but I should have!

My husband and I chose Casa de la Isla for our 1st year wedding anniversary trip. It could not have been nicer! Everything you need is provided including toiletries, Wi-Fi, streaming services, snorkeling gear, beach towels, and beach chairs. If you want to stay in for dinner one night there is even a grill with charcoal included! We were met at Vieques car rental and lead to the house for check in, the caretaker, Jenny was nice, she checked in on us during the week, and she provided valuable information about the island that helped us get acclimated on the island. Very clean , newly renovated house was the perfect get away for our family. Centrally located on the island with quick access to many beaches, local restaurants and other amenities. We enjoyed the natural beauty of the island, including wild horses in the open field across the street from the house. We will definitely visit this location again!!
