Exceptional small inn and winery. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the Douro Valley.

This beautiful Quinta was a highlight of our trip to the Douro Valley. We had dinner in their restaurant all three nights we stayed there, we loved the vibe so much. Excellent breakfast as well. Just such a unique property. Beautifully decorated, exceptional views of the Valley/vinyards, friendly and helpful staff.

Moment inoubliable

Exceptionnel. La vue incroyable, le calme, le soleil, la visite du domaine, l’accueil, la piscine (bon plutôt fraîche mais pour un brestoa ça passe!), les chambres, le repas sur place (vu la route d’accès pas d’alternative de toute façon), le petit déjeuner, le vin, le porto…bref un très bon moment.

Pequeno hotel rural, integrado em exploração agrícola de vinho do Porto e vinho de mesa DOC. A casa é muito confortável, acolhedora, com lareira de chão na sala comum. As vistas para as colinas com as vinhas do rio Douro e seus afluentes. O pessoal do hotel é muito atencioso, conseguem adaptar-se facilmente as necessidades dos hóspedes. O gerente conhece bem a região, a sua história e modos de vida locais, para além da própria atividade vinícola. É uma simpatia e funciona tudo com bastante harmonia e tranquilidade.

Beautifully designed Quinta - very memorable trip to the Douro

Absolutely stunning design of all the rooms in the house. Comfortable beds, robes, well sized rooms. Written note in the room along with chocolates and water was a nice touch. Blown away by the winery and enjoyed the tour and tasting. Enjoyed meeting other guests at dinner and breakfast. Staff was very helpful and friendly; allowed us to arrive early. Beautiful property with a few small walking trails and a pool. Would definitely return.

One of the dishes at dinner was a fish dish but mostly rice so my mom didn't love her meal, but my meat dish was outstanding.

Absolutely stunning venue in the Douro Valley, would absolutely recommend!

Absolutely stunning venue overlooking the Douro valley. The property is superb from a design standpoint, everything is curated with taste. The 2 meals we had were fantastic, very flavorful and generous.

We didn’t know the property expected us earlier on on check-in day to do a property tour so we ended up having a bit of a rushed tour the next morning. We inquired several time about wine tasting but never ended up having a confirmation (either online or in person) so turns out we didn’t get to do one, which was one of our main goal initially.

Beautiful winery in a magical location

* Cozy room in a beautiful wine hotel with delicious breakfast and winery tour/tasting included * Charming staff included a very fun wine tour leader, Afonso. Most spoke great English * Breathtaking views from the winery of the Duoro Valley

Nothing really. The drive up is a bit challenging with some one lane sections but go slow and it's fine. Access to Pinhao and other quintas will require a taxi, but the hotel arranged that for us

An incredible, secluded getaway in the mountains of the Douro Valley.

Clean, cozy, comfortable, and incredibly private view of the valley and mountains. Breakfast was especially exceptional with a vast array of fruits, meat, cheeses, yogurt, and several kinds of jams. They even had gluten free bread for me! We also loved that they always had a fire burning in the kitchen/dining room area, which gave a particularly comforting smell to our stay.

An amazing place that you should not miss!

Very beautiful and very relaxing. On site tour was interesting. Staff was incredibly attentive. Breakfast was perfect and dinner was fantastic. Taking a swim overlooking the vineyard - the best! We hope to return!

Great location with the highest ratings well deserved

This was a real lucky shot! Extremely beautiful housing consisting of both traditional and modern elements. In a wonderful surrounding - particularly the pool, being a bit remote from the rest, impressed us with its beautiful view. Both breakfast and dinner was very good, the wine is recommendable, and the included winery tour was really interesting. And last not least very friendly and nice staff!

The location has an amazing view, and the ambient is very familiar, one may go all the time in the kitchen to prepare by him/herself coffee or tea, and enjoy cookies and cakes.

It is quite difficult to arrive there and it is quite isolated from other location. Going out at night by own car is not recommended.

A blissful stay - highly recommended!

If you want to chill out and relax - this is the place. We came from Lisbon which was crammed with tourists so it was a very welcome respite. We stayed for three nights and didn’t leave - it was that good! During the day we pretty much had the pool to ourselves as we lazed in the shade of an old cork tree. The views from the terrace are beautiful! The staff are very welcoming and friendly and the food and wine are delicious. Breakfast is a treat with homemade breads and jams, fresh fruit, yoghurts, with eggs cooked to order. Dinner is eaten on the terrace as the sun sets…it was also delicious. You can wander through the vineyards and taste some of the fine wines produced on the farm. The only problem is deciding which ones to bring home! One of the best places we’ve stayed in Portugal!

If you don’t have a hire car best way to travel is by train from Porto to Pinhao and then take a local taxi to the hotel. They are more familiar with the narrow, winding roads.

The highlight of our trip.

The location of this hotel is stunning! A few years ago the property was renovated, and the architect at a fabulous job with the winery, the end, and the seamless freshwater pool. Breakfast is very delicious with plenty of options. and the staff were extremely helpful. Two of the three nights first day we ate dinner at the restaurant and really enjoyed it. Staying here was the highlight of our trip, and yes, we would return. Thanks so much for making our anniversary special!
