Spent a week in condo at the Palms on Fort Walton Beach. Would come back in a heartbeat. The beach is fantastic. Management does a wonderful job maintaining and keeping things clean.
Condo is a little on the small side but plenty of room for four adults.
Patio furniture was a bit overwhelming for the space.
Having umbrella and chairs set up for us each day was a huge plus. There was an Amazon echo device in the condo that was very helpful…. Great idea!
Check in and check out process is seamless. Had a few hiccups that maintenance took care of quickly.
Brooks and Shorey does a good job managing!
We will be back!

Great location, condo was awesome. The bridge to the beach was awesome-not as many steps and the public restroom was probably the best that I have ever seen at a condo unit. The garage is quite steep though and parking is very tight, our Tundra would not fit into the provided spot.

Unit overall was nice. There were several furniture issues. One dining room chair was broken, the legs on the secretary in master were broken, a drawer in front b/r dresser was broken, and the tv’s were small. Return air vent was rusty, and master b/r closet was a construction storage area. Hooks near front door would be nice. Knives were dull, no baking sheets or trays to carry food to/from bbq grills, no storage room in pantry, and very few food storage containers. My mom fell b/c last step of walk to the beach was so tall. Told maintenance worker, but nothing was done.

Great place to stay, needed a lounge on balcony, and pool is about the size of a room in your house, but it was out of commission anyway, good quiet location , but nothing within walking distance you have to drive to everything from the condo!

We had five women staying there and it was very small and crowded. We had issues with the toilet running continuously and stubbed our toe on a piece of the floor that was breaking loose. We've been staying with Brooks And Shorey for years and this was definitely not our favorite experience, it was very misleading with the pictures and the televisions were very very small. Hopefully our next experience will be better but we appreciate all of you.

This unit was not up to typical B&S standards. The pool was broke, no place to clean off after visiting the beach. The inside was clean but again the rooms were dated. There were paint cans and other building materials piled in the master bedroom closet. It just seemed to lack general upkeep and maintenance. Both toilets ran continually if not manually closed after each use. If I don’t think we’ll rent this condo again.

The bldg. is fairly old but the condo was clean and maintained. Beautiful view and well stocked. Very cold refrig. It froze my tea! I did notice when we arrived there were places in the ceiling that were coming off. The next day we found out why. Evidently the condo above had a major shower leak and it started pouring (not dripping) into our condo. I was rather disappointed in the rental company's response. They did send maintenance over quickly but he just said "Sorry. That condo is owned by a different rental group. Here are some more towels". The office said they thought they had it fixed yet there was suppose to be a leak detection service coming the next day. Then some manager came to look and she went between our condo the above condo a number of times trying to figure it out. Which she did and then left. I heard them the next day upstairs so I guess they fixed it. At least it did not leak any more. I was disappointed with the office's response as no one ever apologized or offered for the cleaning service to come clean up the water and plaster. Granted I would have said it is fine and cleaned it up myself, which I did. But it would have been a nice gesture on their part. A bit of a refund would have been an even better gesture. And I do realize there are unexpected maintenance issues from time to time. But enough said. Other than that it was a nice place to stay.

We are two moms and two daughters who stayed here for a dance competition. We loved the condo. It’s a small building so the beach was never as crowded as the beaches with bigger buildings. The condo was clean and the perfect size. Beds were very comfy. Our only complaint was a ceiling leak and a backed up bathroom sink that overflowed and got water all over the floor in the bathroom. I called the rental office and they sent maintenance. They were very friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again.

At first we were a little disappointed in the appearance of the inside of the condo. The mustard color walls were somewhat uninviting. However we were satisfied with the overall experience. The beds in both bedrooms were extremely comfortable. The location and the view of the Gulf from the balcony were awesome. We feel that some updating needs to be done. A full length mirror in one or both of the bedrooms would be nice and grab bars in shower and tub is always a good feature.

At first we were a little disappointed in the appearance of the inside of the condo. The mustard color walls were somewhat uninviting. However we were satisfied with the overall experience. The beds in both bedrooms were extremely comfortable. The location and the view of the Gulf from the balcony were awesome. We feel that some updating needs to be done. A full length mirror in one or both of the bedrooms would be nice and grab bars in shower and tub is always a good feature.

Condo was nice and right on the beach. Clean unit with great view and beach access. The building pool is small and on the side of the building.

Beautiful beach condo
The condo is beautifully situated right on the beach -- would be hard to be closer unless in a tent! The listing pictures were spot on and looked just the like the actual condo. Amenities of washer/dryer in the unit, king bed in each bedroom, two options for beach lanai seating and in the sand beach chairs/umbrells were helpful.
Even with covid, we felt safe comfortable. The condo was clean. Beach chairs were paired then 6 feet between. It's a smaller building so therefore fewer people on "our" section of the beach. The beach chair guy was courteous even as he ensured only Palms visitors used the chairs.
The only negative was that on a REALLY windy day out of the north, wind whistled around the door and front bedroom window to the point we could not use that room for that night. This was not a quick fix so didn't mention while there, but sure the management/owner can correct this issue for future occupants.
A WONDERFUL trip! Would definitely stay again.

Location was great, beautiful and spectacular. The condo was clean and what we had expected. The weather was great, but the ocean did not cooperate as we could only get in one day. More details need to be said that check in might not be until 6pm. Because we arrived a little before 4pm based in the 4pm check in and stated it was not ready. Saw a person show up about 430pm with cleaning stuff and a few minutes later we got the call. So if that person was cleaning that was not much cleaning. I am hoping they were just checking on the cleaning by staff to give go ahead.
