What did we like? Everything. Our host Massimo was super responsive from the very moment we booked our stay. He responded to all of our questions in a timely manner. He met us personally when we arrived, and when he did we saw he was a genuinely kind and helpful man. He helped us with figuring out how to get around, and recommended some walking tours. The room was clean, orderly, and perfect for our needs. WiFi worked without issue. The location is great for access to both the historical and the shopping sides of Lecce. But what was even more wonderful was the breakfast offerings Massimo put out for us. Just too many things to mention - it made us want to move in for good! 😀 The pasticciotto that he offered at breakfast made the one we had at the so called “top pasticciotto” cafe in Lecce taste like a cheap copy. When we had to leave, very early in the morning, Massimo called for our taxi pickup, which was a huge help. I hope there is another time soon for us to return to Lecce. I’d come back just to stay at Taranta Suite.

The hosts, Massimo + Tommaso, operate a lovely family owned and meticulously operated B&B. Our room was comfortable, modern and beautifully appointed with all the latest amenities. The spacious shower and rain head was a big plus. The location is perfect as we arrived by car and were able to park in in the garage below the building provided by the hosts. The historic center is just around the corner a few steps away which makes for easy access to all the historic sites. Massimo provided a lovely breakfast buffet inclusive of fresh squeezed orange juice, cheeses and finest salami's, jams, fruit and home backed sweets, etc... Shops and supermarkets are also conveniently located within walking distance. The hosts were always available to communicate with us and to advise on any information we requested. Overall, we would would highly recommend Taranta Suites to anyone visiting Lecce!

We liked everything at the property, it's really spacious, everything is tidy and clean, and our host Massimo was really nice to give us advices on where to go for dinner and what was worth visiting in Lecce and surrounding areas. Strongly recommended!

Location was perfect. Host was very helpful with suggestions on what to do around Lecce. Also arranged airport transfer.

Massimo, the owner, went to a lot of trouble to ensure that we had plenty to do and see. Restaurant recommendations, beaches, events, etc. He also proudly made breakfast, squeezed us fresh orange juice, and offered a variety of breakfast options. Massimo also upgraded our room to the room with a balcony for free. He also allowed us to check out late on the day of our departure. The walk into the main tourist area was under 10 mins, so well situated too.

It was a little noisy in the morning due to bins being emptied and various other traffic.
