Looks nice on surface but too many issues with design and hosting

I review based on value for money & compared with 5 accommodations in the region lately. Airy renovation in a lovely room with beams and vaulted ceiling, conveniently next to train station but not noisy. Modern, mostly Swedish home store, kitchen/living room bright, stylish, trendy lighting, good cooking equipment but no basics of oil & seasonings, little crockery, amenities basic compared to similar priced properties we stayed in. There’s a partition wall screening comfortable bed. Larissa (manages property, is not host) sent helpful directions, responded instantly when electricity went off.

Thanks to other reviewers we knew the toilet had no door but the photos don’t show the toilet is in sightline of kitchen sink and breakfast bar. A bizarre design when a closed bathroom could have been made with glass bricks, frosted glass or other solutions. No toilet extractor fan so it doesn’t feel hygienic open to the kitchen. Ants in the kitchen. Original price for 3 nights was good value for the design and facilities. BUT we asked to add Sunday evening, host said do it on booking system. Extra night was 80% higher than we paid originally. Took it for convenience but credit card charged with E55 on top of the quote. As cleaning fee is E55 I thought simple mistake, it’s been charged as a one-night booking. Host refused to correct it, said they have no control over price, booking.com originally referred us back to host but they eventually helped and got us the E55 refunded. I know booking.com hosts, they assure me they DO control prices; booking.com algorithm will set price, but host can override & most offer discount for booking more nights. This host not only charged a steep increase but refused refund to correct a simple error. We will not return.

Great stay in very comfortable environment, excellent communication with the owner.

Clean and modern, the bed was very comfortable. Very responsive owner, went out of her way to help when we locked ourselves in the stairwell.

Great stylish Appartment

Everything else was brilliant. Nice fresh furniture. Perfekt Bed. Very stylish. Good price point. Free Parking not far away. Loved it. Can recommend it!

No door to the toilet. This mean to all other rooms.

Nice but uncomfortable

Good location, freshly remade apartment, very clean. Very well equipped kitchen. A good supermarket and restaurants very close to the place. Free parking.

The toilet is open to the room, there is no door, neither curtain or a glass wall, nothing. Maybe ok for a single traveller or one parent with a baby or small child, but in general it is very uncomfortable. Also, the floor was very, very cold. We booked 3 nights but decided to go home after just 2 nights in the apartment.
