The host was attentive and responsive. The property was well maintained, and the host provided everything you could want or need. The home was well decorated and each amenity was labeled and the organization of items was a genuine plus. Above and beyond.

This is an absolutely lovely house! Every amenity has been attended to, down to the TINIEST detail- and you'll want for nothing! Not to mention how everything is perfectly organized, labeled, and ready for use! Plus, that it's very "dogcentric", from leashes to an outdoor cable run, made it even better.
We loved the comfortable bedrooms, screened porch, and the kitchen was chock full of essentials. We would absolutely return to this wonderful property the next time we're in Chincoteague.
The only thing we would change is the 9:00 AM check out time, although our lovely host Katy managed to accommodate us with an extra hour. That says so much about how the host of this property cares about their guests! All in all, a wonderful experience staying at Seaside Serenity!

Loved this roomy and super clean vacation property! Proximity to the canal is awesome, we watched birds all week. Loved that the neighborhood is quiet and easy to walk the fog in. The owner was amazingly easy to communicate with and provided tons of organized items for renters to utilize! Would definitely recommend to others and will probably stay here again in the future!

Owner is very accommodating. The attention to details by labeling the cabinets in the kitchen makes what could be highly frustrating experience an ease to use. If you are a forgetful traveler, don't worry. She has remembered it and provides it for you!

We had everything we needed for a terrific stay. The first floor bedroom suite was great for our family members who couldn't do a lot of stairs. Our tween loved the bunkbed setup in an upstairs bedroom. The screen porch was a beautiful amenity and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking. It was a great base for driving to see wildlife and the beach. We look forward to returning!

Great rental for a beach vacation. You don't have to bring anything but yourselves. The host was super accomodating and helped us navigate a challenging situation on our end with kindness and grace. I hightly recommend this rental. The outdoor and indoor spaces are relaxing and renewing.

The house was very well organized. Lot's of supplies provided if needed. The house was modern and comfortable. It was in a close driving location to down town and the main street. Check in and check out process was easy. The owner was in contact with us and friendly. We really liked that.
The one thing that we did not like was that the back sliding door does not lock. There is a wooden stick that prevents it from opening fully, but the door still opens a little bit up unti the board. It made me uncomfortable having a door that didn't lock in a house. The back sliding door needs replaced. The sliding wooden fence out back is also hard to open and close to get down the steps. Other than those issues, the house was in good working condition.

How about the gift Katie gave us upon arrival. So unexpected.
This property has EVERYTHING you need - crates, pet bowls, pet bags, leashes, outside run for your pets.
Spices (not just leftover ones), coffee, tea, ice in the freezer!
Dishes, pots, pans, coffee maker(s), an electric tea pot...
EVERYTHING IS LABELED!!
Although we didn't sleep upstairs (and closed off the upstairs - we brought our 2 little pups), the rooms and bathroom upstairs were lovely.
The downstairs bed was so comfy. The bathroom well appointed...
The living room was so comfortable, and she had several warm coverlets we used, since it was January (although...seriously...this will go down in History as the warmest winter on record).
The back deck...there is nothing I can say to describe the back area. That is where we would stay if we were there in the spring and fall (we don't come to the island in the summer - too many bugs - but don't despair, because if you want summer here, the back porch area is screened). The deck furniture is COMFORTABLE!!! Sigh...it was January, but we'll be back if Katie will have us.
The house was nicely cleaned. Kudos to the housekeeping people!!
I know this isn't a house on the bay, but...in the back is on the creek, and it has a dock!

This is a perfect property: roomy, ultra convenient (I've never been to a vrbo that was stocked as completely as this!). Chincoteague is not easy to get to, but worth the drive if you like a maritime community with lots of history and the PONIES! Our hostess was wonderful. You can't miss with Seaside Serenity!

We were searching for a place to stay on Chincoteague Island, last minute. My husband found Silver Sails and it sounded to good to be true. Well it was all true! Everything was perfect and just as it was listed. Close to town, yet secluded and cozy. Our host, Katy was just awesome!! Great Communication before, during and after our stay. She made sure we knew how to enter the Rental and she made sure we had a phone number in the event of an urgent situation. There was nothing urgent. We just relaxed in the peaceful setting, off the beaten path and enjoyed our little get away. I would recommend this rental to anyone and a matter of fact ... We already have. Very Cleaned, unbelievably organized and furnished with any thing you could possibly need. Top Notch. 5 plus stars !! We hope to return soon!! Carol and Joe

If there are super hosts, then Katy is a super- super host. The house is lovely, comfortable, and welcoming. I could live on the screened in porch with a view of the water. The open plan of kitchen with a counter separating it from the dining table and adjacent seating area allowed all if us to be together even while I finished projects for work. We loved the location. We loved that Katy actually thought of and provided everything, all labeled so things were easy to find and easy to put away. It was a perfect place to walk our dog who was made as welcome as we were. We can't wait to come back.
