Loved our stay at the glass cottage!!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Glass Cottage!! The house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. We had 8 people staying and had plenty of space. We look forward to staying here again!!!

great location - had great weather

Loved being right on the lake and the home was very nice too! Rented a pontoon for a couple days and also rented inflatable kayak and paddle board while there. Kids loved it. Nice to have the protection of the channel for them to play in. Don’t forget to bring your water shoes to play in the lake!

Location of this property was great, and it was super convenient having the private dock right outside. There were a few places to get food/drinks right within walking distance. Listing was accurate with bedroom descriptions etc, and the owner was responsive prior to rental and even was able to process our deposit prior to the 2 week time frame. However, we ran in to some issues when we arrived. The upstairs air conditioning unit was not working and after calling the owner, we were informed through a text that they knew it was broken and the part was on backorder. I understand things happen in houses that you cant control, especially if the part was on backorder. However, it was incredibly frustrating to not find out the issue until we had to reach out after arrival and ask, since it sounds like they knew it was a problem before we even arrived. It was very hot upstairs without that unit when we arrived, and we would have made other sleeping arrangements (air mattresses if needed) if we knew the potential for the unit not working. One other note is the house did not have any extras of things such as Toilet paper and trash bags, which seemed a little strange as I had not run in to that in rentals before, so we had to go out and purchase trashbags and toilet paper to get us through the long weekend.

The rental process, accommodations and location of cottage could not have been better. Mark Iiames, the owner, was very helpful and attentive throughout our stay. I highly recommend a stay at the Glass Cottage. We loved the experience!

I wanted to finally have a vacation with the whole family and it was great. The home was spacious and it has everything that you need. Just bring your clothes and groceries. There is also a restaurant named “ Woody s Diner” that has great food and large portions for those times you might not want to cook or grill out. The owners are great and we want to make this a family tradition each year starting now. Thanks Mark! Diane & Family

This is such a great place to stay! The Glass Cottage has everything you need. It's the perfect size. We never felt like we were on top of each other. The Glass Cottage is easy to get to and it's within walking distance to popular restaurants. All you need to do is kick back and make memories! We hope to return someday (soon)!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about this perfect cottage. The owners are very attentive and ensure that you have everything you need during your stay. Securing the reservation, check in, and check out were all a breeze. We have stayed here more than once and I don't think we will ever stay any place else on the lake. It is always in pristine condition. The location is absolutely the best. We have a long family history of coming to Indian Lake and in the last few years we moved to Wisconsin. This cottage has allowed our family to continue the tradition of boating and staying on Indian Lake while reuniting with our family who is still in Ohio. It is such a comfortable, warm, home-like cottage with a fabulous location and everything you could possibly want during your stay. There is always fresh clean linens on the beds and in the bathrooms. The cottage is always extremely clean and comfortable. The view and boat access is perfect. We really love all of the windows that allow for a great view and a lot of natural light. There are 3 bedrooms on the main floor and 4 single beds with a full bath upstairs that makes it perfect for any family. The kids can "camp out" upstairs after a cook out on the grill that is provided. We all hung out on the large deck and our entire family sat around the fire, right on the water, while roasting marshmallows. This cottage is fully stocked with everything you need to enjoy some quality family time. It is within walking distance to some of Indian Lake's "hot spots"...The Tilton Hilton, Froggy's, Acheson's, and a short boat ride to Cranberry Resort as well as the local Donut Shop just across the newly renovated historical foot bridge, just to name a few. We couldn't ask for a more perfect place to make our family memories on Indian Lake. We will definitely return.

WOW! Those were our first words as we walked in. It is just beautiful. It was very clean and very well maintained. It fits 10 people perfectly. It is in a quiet location as well as a beautiful location. The deck was perfect for enjoying the outdoors and having a place to dock our boat was ideal. We could just hop on the boat at a moments notice to enjoy the lake or head out to go fishing. We enjoyed watching the moon rise through the many windows facing the lake. The owners were so gracious and provided us with answers to our many questions and information on just about anything we could think of. We would highly recommend planning your next vacation here. I know we are.

The excitement builds the moment you step out of your car and see this charming cottage with front row seats to the lake and channel. Its tucked on a channel so its quit and tranquil yet the full few of the lake is within range. The morning was a bustle with birds, rabbits and catfish a jumping as the sun rose over the trees towards tgis east facing cottage. The fully stocked kitchen lead a renter to plan a full meal or a simple breakfast with fresh berries from the roadsise market. Two coffee pots was a plus for our clan. Three bedrooms down and a magnificant loft with its bath made getting ready each day a breeze. All guests marveled at the sound night's sleep not only because of a day in the sun but from the comfy beds and quiet surroundings. This will be an annual for our two families!

The Glass cottage was a convenient location to house extra wedding guests for the weekend. Being able to sleep 10 in the lovely newly decorated bedrooms and 3 more in the living room was a big bonus for our out of town family members. The early morning sun welcomed guests to the deck for coffee, and three restaurants/bars within walking distance was a big plus. We will use this rental again for housing of out of town family guests.

Our stay at The Glass Cottage was a pleasurable experience. The accommodations were wonderful and plentiful. Our daughters loved their loft bedroom with very own bathroom. The other bedrooms and bathroom were very neat and tidy. The kitchen was equipped with all needed supplies. The deck was an inviting spot to enjoy the soothing sounds of the lake and summer sun. The Glass Cottage was a very family friendly place to stay and we hope to visit again soon!
