Short walk to waterfront and. town. NB: This is a self catering apartment. A start-up supply of tea, coffee, dishwashing liquid and toilet paper will be provided but no toiletries. Only 100m to beautiful beaches. Take a short walk to shops, cafes and hotels. Feed the pelicans daily at the local beach. Watch the sunset on the magnificent Coral Coast at Pot Alley Gorge - Champagne at Sunset. Relax and enjoy! You will experience white sandy beaches, red rock gorges and stunning coastal cliffs. Right on the doorstep of the amazing Kalbarri National Park. From Perth: Just take the new Indian Ocean Road, along the coast, past Lancelin and numerous small fishing villages to Dongara, then head north. It's closer than you think! The Brand Highway is an alternative route. Bus, coach or coach tour is also a comfortable travel alternative and Skywest Airlines has flights available during the week for those who prefer to fly. What can I say. We had the best holiday in Kalbarri! Donna & Brian were great to deal with. So helpful & prompt with replies to messages. Their apartment was neat, tidy, clean & had everything we could have wanted for our stay. The resort was great also. Perfect location, just a short stroll from literally everything the town had to offer! Amazing pool area with a 'little kids' pool along side the bigger pool that was just perfect for our 2 year old. We will definitely be coming back to stay in the future & would highly recommend anyone visiting Kalbarri to stay at the Kalbarri Beach Resort :-)

As mentioned in other reviews, the apartment is tired, but in saying that, it is clean and comfortable and has everything that you need. Great location in the complex in relation to the ocean front and cafes ect. The whole complex is dated so from what I saw this apartment is similar to the others, the great thing is that the price for this one is far cheaper than any others that were advertised. In all I would recommend staying here.

Everything you need for a fabulous family stay. The appartment is lovely very comfortable and well appointed. The resort caters for everyone, great pool and grounds. We stayed in a privately-owned two bedroom property on the second storey at Kalbarri Beach Resort. The apartment was much smaller and darker than we had expected, and we had been told in advance that it wouldn't contain some of the basics we might have otherwise expected, like coffee and tea, etc. The resort is very close to a supermarket so it's easy to stock up there. The apartment was very basic - and we had some problems with a fan that wouldn't turn off, and a VERY squeaky bunk bed in the kids' room that made it very difficult each night for them to sleep. We didn't report these issues as were only staying for three nights. The resort itself is quite noisy in the evenings - it was ok for us as we don't have young children but it might be a problem for people trying to settle children at night. The pool is very big but I would describe the pool area itself as fairly dated. It was fine for the kids though. I found the games areas and the spa area a bit dated also - there's nothing really wrong with them, but guests shouldn't have high "resort-style" expectations of what is on offer here. The downstairs apartments would be more convenient, with direct access to the grassed areas - we were in an upstairs one and to access it you need to walk around behind the building to the stairs. The resort is well located, close to the beach and shops, with adequate parking for cars and boats. If we were to return we would definitely try to stay in a resort-operated unit.

We originally booked unit 33 but were given a nearby unit on the first floor which was a bit of a pain having to carry everything upstairs. The unit we stayed in though was clean and comfortable. The kalbarri beach resort is a great place for the family with a big pool area and a couple of playgrounds.
