It was ridiculously expensive for no reason. We had just left an all inclusive place that was better and cheaper. The staff was friendlier. I felt like I had to live as if I was camping. It’s a great place. Unfortunately, compared to where we were before, it didn’t stand a chance. Our expectations were too high.

I went there back in April but the experience was so horrible that I wanted to share. I arrived to Tulum late, I went straight to the hotel but they told me they couldn't find my reservation, I showed them the confirmation but they said every room was taken and asked me to leave. I had to walk all over the Tulum party zone with my bags trying to find a hotel at night. I couldn't find anything I came back and finally the guy in the front desk told me he might have a room (he had several rooms available). Late that night he finally found my reservation and moved me to the room that I have actually booked (bigger than the one he put me in first). Overall, it was horrible experience and they are a bunch if liars. be careful.

Truly an exceptional trip start to finish, made solely possible by the manager, Fernando (THANK YOU). The rooms are beautiful, we always had a ton of filtered water at our disposal, everything is SO convenient (breakfast, bar, etc.), and the room was massive with a truly incredible view. Can't say enough great things. Had no issues with noise despite the hotel location in the party zone, instead this allowed us to walk on the beach to any other restaurants/attractions we wanted to hit. It's the perfect spot for a Tulum trip, feels very authentic, your room feels secluded despite being close to everything, just so great.

Delek Hotel was above expectations! Ites perfectly located walking distance to restaurants, art museum, shops, clubs. Fernando is awesome. He communicated with me via whatsapp with any questions and so attentive. Its beachfront hotel and so relaxing. Staff/ food/ location really 10/10. Its also very safe. I saw some reviews about it being loud because of Bagatelle that is next door, but honestly its not that bad. The ocean and the AC make a perfect white noise to sleep.

Delek hotel was exceptional- super comfortable and top facilities, the staff was the best experience, they were super welcoming, accommodating all our needs and doing their best to make us feel super well and enjoy the vacation. The beach line was cleaned everyday (something not done by all hotels), the beach is great, super cozy and beautiful place with great beach beds, restaurant, and you feel safe and like in a small paradise, and the hotel gives the vibe that it is like a small boutique hotel where you have all the privacy and facilities and the best service i ever had.

everything was great, the only issue was that although the location is great it is in the middle of the party zone and the music is load at night for those who can be distracted from it.

Stayed here for 6 nights. Pros- beautiful hotel, good service staff from bar, reception staff could improve. Extremely loud at night and impossible to get a nights sleep. The rooms are nice and offer a nice chill feeling during the day as I imagined for tulum. Very friendly bar and restaurant staff that couldn’t do enough for us all week. If you are expecting a nice relaxing stay (which was my reason for going to tulum) I would not recommend, as it is located so close to porifinos, bagatelle and other beach clubs where their sound systems will be heard in your room like a loud bass. The music plays until about 4/5am each morning. I would recommend staying further away from the party zone and toward the archaeological area. After my first night I asked the manager in the morning about the noise which he said was rare and that they had complaints from others. I believed and expected to sleep the next night until it was an exact same situation. I then asked could I move room or even checkout but as my purchase was non refundable through a site we were unable. Reception staff could of been better in my opinion, after requesting an iron before going out for dinner, they responded 3 hours later when I was in my bed. Also, one thing I found extremely surprising for an expensive boutique style hotel, was they provided a reusable water bottle in the room ( similar to a yeti) which upon checkout they requested back, I can only imagine they are reusing these for other guests which was weird in my opinion and something which I would of avoided using had I of known.

it’s not about the property, Tulum used to be a great place to relax and get into the nature vibes. Now, it’s a lot of parties with loud music the whole night and the peace of Delek is gone, unfortunately. We were there 2 years ago and everything has changed dramatically

the hotel was great but just be aware that Thursday, Friday and Saturday you could hear the music. we didnt really care about the noise because we went out every night except one night were the music from the club was SUPER LOUD LOL 😂😂😂! overall we love it

I love the design and the friendly staff. Being on the beach and the atmosphere was great.

We had cockroaches in our room every day. This was a problem especially if you are paying for a high end property. Also the music at night time on the weekends were really loud so if you are looking to sleep and can’t sleep with noise either to stay during the week or pass this place.

The bed was so comfortable. The bathroom was so cool and beautiful. It was so close to the beach. The location was brilliant for near by food and restaurants. They had mosquito repellent in the room for you to use. Sea weed is bad during our time and they made a good effort to clean it whilst we were there.

Right in the party zone meaning the noise of the music is non stop. If your in a downstairs room it’s so noisy as you hear absolutely everything from upstairs, if they do anything the noise is wild. Would highly recommend if you book to book an upstairs room. Restaurant at the hotel so overpriced even just for a coffee.

The experience was different. The treehouse was cool and the bed was comfy.

I don’t understand why bathing water is salt water. Washing my face in the morning and raising out my mouth with salt water…not great. The bed was smaller than expected and we found bugs 😑. First night we had 2 coal roaches and 3 grass hopper looking things. Found out after the grass hopper thing helps with plants and bugs so I guess I wasn’t suppose to kill those. But omg were the bugs big

for people who like to party, it’s a great area, otherwise it’s loud all day and night

We paid extra in order to get a room with a sea view and the room ended up being a jungle view which is incorrectly advertised for as sea view. we had to close all of the curtains as it’s in the middle with people passing by all day. when we informed the hotel staff, they told us it is sea view, the photos we attached show otherwise. They moved us to a room on the upper floor on the last night.
