im Großen und Ganzen o.k.

Poolbereich sehr schön mit wunderbaren Ausblick günstige Getränke aus dem Eisschrank zur Selbstversorgung.

Studio mit Terrasse haben wir gebucht nur leider kaum Blick aufs Meer nur im stehen war ein Blick aufs Meer zu erlangen. Das Studio ist in die Jahre gekommen ... . beim nächsten Mal lieber ein Zimmer in den höheren Etagen. störend der Verkehr vor dem Studio trotz Sackgasse Abends und morgens kamen immer Schaulustige die Straße entlang gefahren erst gegen 22.30 Uhr nachliassend und morgens um 8 Uhr wieder startend .

Beste Lage für den Sunset

Die Aussicht mit Blick auf den Sonnenuntergang ist sowohl vom Pooldeck als auch dem Zimmer wunderschön. Sehr gehobene & komfortable Ausstattung, sicherer Parkplatz und sehr freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal. Vollste Empfehlung!

spectaculair uitzicht en thuisgevoel

uitzicht spectaculair, inchecken vlot, vriendelijk personeel, hygiene, kamers zeer comfortabel, heerlijke bedden (kussens wat minder) we mochten op de uitcheck dag langer blijven omdat ons vliegtuig laat vertrok, we voelden ons welkom

loadshedding oplossing, nespresso koffie betaald beneden, hoofdkussens, er is airco maar let op als je niet van airco houdt en je opent de deuren, oceaan is luid, dat kan juist de charme zijn, ik had als oplossing oordopjes in.

Ein Urlaubstraum!

Einfach alles! Die Realität hat das Online-Angebot noch übertroffen. Alles war perfekt: das luxuriöse Appartement mit der herrlichen eigenen Dachterrasse, der Chill-, und Poolbereich, vor allem die fleißigen und freundlichen und kompetenten Mitarbeitenden (eine zu weiche Matratze wurde sofort ausgetauscht, am Abreisetag durften wir noch bis zum späten Nachmittag alles nutzen… ), die Nähe zum wunderbaren Strand (200m) und tollen Restaurants…

Eine zu weiche Matratze, die aber sofort auf unseren Wunsch hin ausgetauscht wurde.

Great breakaway perfect for a couple wanting peace and quiet with lovely views

The views were breathtaking and the room had everything from an iron to a laundry basket It certainly exceeded my expectations. Bubble bath, bath salts, face towels, heated towel rack, seating in the shower, spa bath, candles and a full kitchen with airfryer etc all inclusive.

Excellent stay in Gordon’s bay!

Breakfast was great, location excellent, all amenities great…lovely place to stay

They forgot to give us towels the last day, did not give us new toilet spray and the bed seemed to be changed the last night. This was so minor in comparison to all the good, so you can ignore.

Nice and relaxing

Stunning view. The location is superb. Very clean. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Good aircon in lounge/kitchen area.

The portable aircon unit in the bedroom could not handle the ambient air temperature. Staff did examine the unit when I reported it inadequate and noisy. It was very windy during our stay so we could not leave a bedroom window open to cool down the bedroom at night.

Excellent location on the beach and cul de sac Fabulous facilities, staff, service, honesty bar So tranquil, relaxing Will DEFINITELY return and recommend to as many people as possible LOVED LOVED LOOVED my stay. Personalised communication with team.

It not like it looks on booking

Location and beautiful view, nice main area with swimming pool.

Room was dirty like nobody used it for a long time. Furniture old and not maintained. Not enough towels, 3rd bed was just a sofa not even prepared for sleeping. Owner ignored my complain. On short big disappointment.

This is a exceptional location and the apartment is nice but way over priced , compared with others

Location superb

Various fitments in the apartment required attention , curtain rail hanging down , toilet seat not fixed , door locating hook hanging off , various doors to units need attention . Balcony terribly small .

Perfect location to unwind in style

The property was luxurious, quiet, perfectly located and the staff were friendly, polite and proactive in recommending ideas of restaurants and things to make the stay perfect. Would recommend 185 On Beach unreservedly.

Total relaxation and a first class experience. A true gem!

Amazing location and views. Also we were given an upgrade to a suite at no cost. Personal attention to guests and solid customer focused staff. Bernards hosting is exceptional.

Property location and public areas really stunning, such a pity about cleanliness and safety issues

Great that the property is so family friendly. View and pool area is super lovely and relaxing. Honesty bar at the pool is a lovely idea, please just clean the fridge! Weber gas braai on patio is a great addition for quick meals. AC in lounge and bedroom was very effective. Lovely to have the cake and snack offerings as part of the honesty system. Host on arrival was very friendly and helpful with luggage and settling us in. The suggestions for dining and activities in the room folder is very useful. Did not expect that our room will be cleaned daily as we were in a self catering unit, nice bonus.

Kitchenette tiny and position below TV is very awkward with loose shelves dwindling above. Cleanliness of floors and surfaces not up to standard on arrival, room in general full of dust and all appliances and utensils sticky. Microwave rusted inside, should be thrown away. Lounge area very cramped because of unused cupboard space. Cupboard doors and drawers very unstable and wood with paint over does a disservice to the quality expected from a boutique establishment. How about some lovely, durable melamine doors and drawers that are properly installed? Books on shelves high up in the bedroom is decorative but a safety hazard as they are not secured, we could not let our 4 month old sleep under this. Gaps on balcony railing too wide to be child or pet safe and the mesh added to cover the lower gaps too loose - safety hazard.

Wonderful cozy beach place

Great view and location, simple and cozy interior, nice swimming pool

We asked to clean the floor better because we found that it wasn’t clean and the shower walls had a dirts. Also as there’s a road close by, we had a smell of cars. Every balcony has bbq grill, so sometimes it was no air to breathe in the room when other people was making bbq.

Gutes Bed & Breakfast in Gordons Bay

Die Anlage liegt direkt am Meer und bietet eine tolle Aussicht auf die False Bay und Gordons Bay. Die Eigentümerin Jeannette hat sich direkt gemeldet und gefragt, ob wir alles haben oder ob wir etwas brauchen. Die Aufteilung der Räume ist gut, so dass jeder seine Privatsphäre hat. Das Zimmer ist geräumig und gut ausgestattet. Man kann also auch eine längere Zeit hier verbringen und sich selbst versorgen. Ein kleiner Strand ist zu Fuß nur 3 Minuten entfernt und lädt zum Baden ein. Eine interessantes Restaurant, in dem man Abends gut Essen kann, ist zu Fuß in 5 Minuten erreichbar. Am ersten Tag war der Kaffee beim Frühstück recht dünn. Nachdem wir das angemerkt hatten, haben wir dann stärkeren Kaffee bekommen :-)

Im Grunde nur 2 Kleinigkeiten, die man jedoch bei einer Luxus Suite so nicht erwartet. Das Mobiliar ist leider etwas in die Jahre gekommen und das trübt ein wenig den ansonsten sehr guten Eindruck (in unserem Zimmer war z.B. ein Scharnier einer Schranktür ausgerissen, so dass sich die Tür nicht richtig schließen ließ.) Und der Einstieg in die Dusche war in unserer Suite etwas beengt, da die Tür nach innen aufgeht. Jemand der mehr als 100kg wiegt, wäre da wohl nicht oder nur schwer reingekommen.

Perfekte drei Tage zum erholen.

Die Lage ist unglaublich, nur durch eine Sackgasse vom Strand getrennt. Vom Pool aus direkte Sicht auf die Gordons Bay. Getränke zu super Preisen direkt am Pool aus dem Kühlschrank zu nehmen.

A little tired and dated unfortunately however the view is great

The view and the sundeck was lovely. There is an honesty bar with drinks and snacks and use of a pool and lounge area. It is a great view over the water.

Unfortunately, in our opinion, the interior of the apartment (Sea Deck) was underwhelming, tired and dated and lacking in quality fixtures and fittings. We did not consider the accommodation to offer good value for money. On arrival it became evident after we'd checked in that there was no running water due to a local damaged pipe. Whilst this was out of the control of the owner, it was extremely irritating that we were not informed of this prior to arrival and it only became apparent after we'd paid. The owner, Jeanette has subsequently refunded us for the first nights stay due to this unfortunate problem in the local area for which we are grateful.

The apartment is right opposite the beach the rooms overlooking the ocean the views were amazing it was everything.My room had slidding windows that you could open and listen to the sea most beautiful experience!!!

The stairs to the apartment are a bit tiring.

Wonderful- will keep this in mind for future trips

Staff very friendly. Stayed for a while and service also included washing dishes daily. I was so grateful for this since this was mostly a business trip. Felt comfortable and safe and the views were extraordinary right on the ocean.
