Oct 2018We stayed 5 nights at The Tides in this apartment. All I can say is it was everything and more than what we expected. The apartment is clean and well cared for. It's hard to even notice that the apartment is used as a rental. The fully furnished kitchen allowed for multiple home cooked meals (Walmart is only a quick drive or 15 min walk away!) making it feel like we lived there. The view from the balcony is what really caught my eye about this rental and it did not disappoint. The sunrise view from the balcony or the calm night sky over the ocean were priceless. The common area around the pool and the grounds of The Tides are well kept. And the beach that this facility has access to is awesome. Throughout the 5 day stay the beach was never crowded and had plenty of space to relax. My ONLY complaint about this rental is the master bed. If you are a fan of SUPERSOFT beds than this is the bed for you. But anyone looking for a hint of firmness needs to be prepared. It sleeps well once in it but getting in and out requires a good attempt or two at a roll. Read more

Apr 2019Unit is in good condition with views of the ocean and the pool area from balcony. Nice couch, some IKEA stuff, 2 TV's with Tivo and WIFI. Kitchen is fairly well appointed ... couple things were missing but we got by without too much trouble for ~1 week. The building is a condominium and they have rules about accessing the property with luggage and the parking is all gated so be prepared to deal with security in one building (to get your parking pass, wrist band for the pool, and key fob for opening doors). And the entry (for your luggage) is around back through a service entrance. It is not too difficult but a little confusing the first time you do it. I might recommend parking and getting your self situated before you traipse through the place with your luggage. Read more

Evenings were equally lovely watching the last few beachgoers fold up and head home. Access to the beach is simple. The pool is lovely with ample deck space. The building is secure. Alex was very responsive when we couldn’t make the TV work (user error due to prior rental attaching Roku). Coffee maker; kitchen supplies were ample. Tons of closet space with hangers. The check in process to acquire your ‘fob’, which opens all the doors and must be with you otherwise you will be locked out, and bracelet could be smoother. Aug 2021The unit itself was overall satisfactory. A nice view of the ocean. However, as others have mentioned, there could be some updates to the unit. Starting with the bed. There is no box spring. Makes all kinds of noise when moving around. Couches have also seen better days. The table in the kitchen seems too big or something (2 of the chairs are placed in the bedroom), and is kind of in the way. You already have a table in the dining room. If the place only sleeps 2 people, why have seating for 6 people? The table in the dining room is sufficient. In the kitchen, there are no cookies sheets or anything to cook a pizza on. Also have to purchase your own dish soap. No broom to sweep up the sand that we bring in. Check in process is worse than going to your local DMV. Due to the check in process and fobs/ wrist band policies, I wouldn't come back here again. But, those are the resorts policies. Not the owners fault. If you need anything, the owner is quick to answer and is a nice man. Thank you. Read more

Oct 2019The pool and ocean and pool deck furniture were excellent. The unit itself needs a deep cleaning as there is "dirt fur" around all of the HVAC vents. The bed was incredibly soft and noisy every time you moved. The view from the pictures is slightly misleading as the direct view out your balcony is the top of a concrete parking garage however to the left or east is the view of the pool and ocean you see in the pictures. Mar 2022Overall we enjoyed our time at The Tides. The pool area and beach are beautiful. Check in was hectic; you talk to the valet to get into the building, go in to the desk to check in, bring paperwork out to the valet to be able to park your car, go to another building to pay for parking and get parking tag; get fob to get into building and beach area; pay for laundry use.
The condo unit looked just like the photos online; it’s a nice size with newish appliances in kitchen. We had a problem and contacted Alec. He was very polite and fixed the issue as quickly as he could. That being said, the unit needs a good thorough cleaning, the walls all need to be painted, and the rusty metal shelves in the bathroom need to be replaced. Read more

It was easy to access the parking especially since we rented a car. We felt just like home. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody! Feb 2021Loved our stay! Seeing the beach and hearing the waves from the balcony was the best. Condo was very clean, nothing fancy but perfectly met our needs! The pool is nice and clean, chairs get taken early so get there early if you want one,, and the beach was fabulous. Alec was great host and was quick to respond to questions; even checked in to make sure all was well with our stay.
Do have to share that the valet attendant was not very friendly, in fact was quite rude and made us feel that he was being put out helping us when we first arrived. Good thing that we only had to deal with them upon arrival. The check in people in the office were also not very friendly but again only dealt with them upon arrival and departure. Be prepared that there are extra fees. The staff are very strict about elevator usage and COVID restrictions (no complaints on my end they are making sure everyone is safe).

Aug 2018Condo tres bien equipé (chaises, parasol, glacière etc). Il ne manque rien dans la cuisine incluant un lave-vaisselle. Un grand matelas soufflé nous a été fourni pour notre fils. La plage était malheureusement pleine d'algues et de méduses, mais ce problème en est un de la nature et le proprio n'y peut rien. Il nous a offert un super service et il est très disponible pour répondre à nos questions et à nos demandes. Le seul point négatif pour moi est les règlements de à la piscine. Pas le droit de sauter, pas de balles, pas de ballons, pas de jouets, pas de jouets gonflables dans la piscine, pas de musique. Très beau séjour!👍 Read more

Dec 2018Alex was a really good host. Allowed to drop our bags off early so we could enjoy the boardwalk . The condo was very clean with modern furniture. The view as it appears. Amazing. Spent most of my stay on the balcony watching the ocean. The boardwalk just 2 miles away with many choices of food Walmart superstore just a short walk for all your grocery and alcohol.
