Situated in Columbia Falls, this charming entire apartment for £171 per night is a great option for your next trip. This property is our home and the vacation rental is in the lower level apartment with 2 bedrooms and 1 bath, full kitchen with all amenities, dining area has seating for 6 at the table and living area has queen size hide a bed. Washer/dryer in laundry room. Even though it is basement apartment there are two large windows that let in natural light. We have an outside fire pit, BBQ grill, and horseshoe pit. Conveniently located just 5 minutes from Columbia Falls where in the summer you will find community/farmer markets, music in the park, many antique shops and great dining. Read more

Jul 2019We had a wonderful stay in this cozy, well-stocked vacation home. We had a few questions before arriving and Jerry and Joanne answered them very promptly. They had bear spray available for us to take with us while hiking in the park, as well as bug spray and sunscreen. They had a nice cooler to use when taking our lunches into the park, which we did daily. The kitchen had supplies available to us that we rarely find these days - baggies, foil, sugar, spices - it was all so appreciated, and made our stay that much more easy and enjoyable. We enjoyed coming back to their bright, comfortable home every evening after a full day of hiking and sight-seeing. We enjoyed meeting them and their sweet dog while there. Aug 2019We had a great time. We liked that it was easy to access and communication was great. The bear mace provided was great. Also loved the bbq area. The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 is because the sprinkler would wake us up at about 4am everyday with loud bangs as it hit the window on rotation. Other than that it was fantastic. Jul 2016We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay. Joanne and Jerry were wonderful. They were so thoughtful and provided absolutely everything we could have needed for a wonderful stay. They even included bear spray in case we needed it for our hikes! That was really going above and beyond. One night we had decided to have a campfire (they have a beautiful campfire ring in the back yard). We asked them for a lighter because we had forgotten to bring matches. By the time we got out to the campfire ring they had already built and lit the fire for us!
The apartment was spotlessly clean and the beds were wonderful. We really couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. We will definitely be back the next time we visit Glacier National Park. The apartment was just 15 minutes or so from the park entrance and there was a large grocery store just a few minutes away. The mountain views were gorgeous! The kitchen was well equipped and all in all I couldn't imagine finding a better place so close to the park. Read more

Jul 2018This rental is in the basement of a very sizable home. It is well-separated from the main living space and completely self-sufficient. A fully stocked kitchen and laundry were absolutely perfect. The owners are super-friendly and very accommodating. The location is very close to the western park entrance. Jul 2017This is a very nice daylight basement 2/1 apt in a home that is out in the country, but very convenient to town and only 15 miles to the west entrance of Glacier NP. The kitchen is well equipped and the apt includes a laundry room. Our hosts, Jerry and Joanne made us feel very welcome, and we thoroughly enjoyed our week-long stay. Read more

Jul 2021There was plenty of space for the 4 of us. It was clean and cozy, I did not need to contact Jerry or Joanne because everything we needed was there. It took us 25 minutes to get to the west entrance of Glacier National Park and 30 minutes to Whitefish Mountain Resort. Grocery and restaurants as near drivable distance. They have bear spray that guest can use on hikes. Read more

The apartment is one of the best we have ever stayed in, well stocked with everything one could possibly need for an extended stay or just one night. Their dog Moky was a delight to be around, with boundless energy and just as friendly as her human parents. Jul 2017I admit I was a little hesitant to stay in someone's basement, but with good previous reviews I took a chance. I'm SO glad I did. This place is wonderful!!! The ceilings are high and the rooms are spacious, there are two large windows for natural light, so it's easy to forget it's a basement. The sofa bed has an inflatable mattress, so it was very comfortable for the kids. Our family of 6 had PLENTY of room. We also enjoyed the yard and the fire pit. The home had everything we needed and even a things we didn't know we needed!
The best part of the property by far was the owners though. They happened to be outside when we arrived and welcomed us like friends. We had a couple of occasions to visit outside and thoroughly enjoyed getting the "locals" view of the area. Wish we were staying longer!! Read more

Aug 2016Great nights rest, so close to Glacier! Bed linens & towels so clean and fresh and beds were super comfy. Books and info about the park to read! We honestly spent so much time in the park that we left the house so early and came back so late that I didn't get to meet the owners, but they were quick to respond to messages/questions! Even though the rental is a basement, the ceilings are tall & you don't hear the upstairs movement. All in all, the rental was very nice and we will definitely stay there again! Read more
