Apr 2019We loved the condo and the beach and pool access. We could not have asked for more. The only problem we had was that we were given wrist bands that we were told were not the right ones and we would receive different ones but we never got them. Security did not bug us too much about it. Read more

Jun 2016We have stayed at Sterling Shores for several years, this was by far the nicest unit we have stayed in. The two masters were perfect & so nice to have. The furnishings were nice & comfortable, everything you need is already in the kitchen, and having a parking space in the parking garage was awesome! The only thing that would make this unit better would be beach service. It seems there's either new Sterling management or they've let someone new do the beach service, the first day we went down mid afternoon not even half the chairs they set up were rented but the chair guy wouldn't let our toddlers even play in the water in front of the empty non accounted for chairs. The chairs were two rows deeps and like I said a lot of empties. He advised us we could sit in the roped off area which was maybe 6 feet wide. It really takes away from having your own section of beach when you can't enjoy it unless you want to pay daily to rent chairs. We rented this unit since it has 2 master bedrooms and that was great for us.
The unit is nicely decorated and being a corner unit we could see all the way to Harbor Docks for the fireworks on July 4.

Jun 2021This property is 10 minutes away from our nieces family who are moving with the military out of the country. The property is beautiful and the beach location can not be beat...but if you are meeting your family-the managers are not amenable to guest on the property. If we come back to Destin, we would stay again, if we were the only party there. Read more

Jul 2019This home was everything we could have hoped for and more to spend our first family vacation in! The pictures don’t do it justice! We felt so “at home” on our vacation home away from home. It wasn’t only the home that was perfect...the location was absolutely perfect as well! We woke up and headed right on down to the beach or pool every single day! Not to mention all of the best eating places within a mile of the property! We cannot wait to come back and we hope this unit is available for all of our future vacations to Destin! Jan 2021Really liked the 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms. It's back off the main road and just right across the (not heavily traveled) road to the beach. The Back Porch restaurant is just across the road and very convenient along with the Candy Maker shoppe. Unfortunately we were there in the 'off-season', so many of the discounts and passes were not running or available and there is no other substitution. Overall, it was a fun getaway and would recommend this property. Read more

Amazing closet space in every bedroom. We were not overcrowded. Beautiful balcony views. About a 3 minute walk to the beach, super easy and has a huge area marked off for beach chairs/umbrellas for property guests. Swimming pool was so clean and nice. Even though it was a large condo resort, we never felt crowded. An elevator was always available and the fact they have luggage carts was a plus. Would definitely stay here again! Aug 2015Overall the condo was great! We did have trouble checking in after hours. We picked up the packet as directed but our gate and room codes were wrong. We had to call the after hours number and wait for someone to call us back with the correct codes. Once we checked in we had a great time. Condo was clean, roomy, and everything we expected. Jul 2013My family and I had a wonderful experience. The condo was so spacious, very clean, and decorated beautifully. We also loved the added privacy of a corner unit. It enhanced the breathtaking view from the condo. The two master suites were also great! And the kids really enjoyed the large pool. The beach was just a short walk way! Mar 2021It was a wonderful stay overall, zero complains. The house/condo is clean and well done. Location is perfect and very close to the beach.
Things to note:
- Heated pool is the smaller one across the road (not the big one). It's lukewarm.
- No Hot tub at property (sorely missed during this weird weather zone where the sea is too cold and the main pool is too cold)
- Bring your supplies (paper towels, shampoos etc). duly noted in their communication. Read more

Aug 2020Condo was fairly clean. The only thing a little yucky was hair on the shower wall in the master bathroom.
And still some sand in the master . And no fault of house cleaning but one of the blankets and one of the closets still have hair on it. I'm not sure of these blankets are washed. What are first day of arrival the bathroom handle in the second master broke. They on call attendant was not very friendly. But once I spoke with the property management they were wonderful! A little confusion upon arrival. The front office was closed and we were a little confused. Secondly the bracelets to the pool as well as the beach was not in our welcome package.
