Dec 2019Wow. We are so spoiled now. I can’t imagine how we will ever go to Manhattan and stay elsewhere. Plenty of room and storage for four ladies. So nice to have Fuji available should we need him. Everything you might need (ziplock bags, umbrellas, tea bags) is here in the home. The young adults said the sleeper sofas might be better suited for kids rather than adults. Otherwise perfection! Jun 2021We had a wonderful stay at Elizabeth's property! My husband and I stayed there for a month and we were incredibly comfortable and happy with the overall experience. The condo is exactly as advertised in the photos and descriptions - it's extremely clean, spacious, and has all of the amenities needed for our stay.
The property manager, Fuji, was extremely helpful and professional. He made the entire experience easy and comfortable.
Additionally, the location is amazing. It's right on Central Park and there is access to nearly all of the main subway lines in the city.

Dec 2019We had an excellent experience from beginning to end! Communication was easy and quick with both Elizabeth and her property manager Fuji. The apartment is among the residences at the lovely and well located JW Marriott on Central Park South. The location can’t be beat - directly across the street from Central Park and walking distance to 5th Avenue, Columbus Circle, Lincoln Center and Times Square. Lots of subway options nearby too. Fuji met us at the apartment when we arrived to give us a tour - he was friendly and very helpful. The apartment itself is classy, very spacious and very clean. There is 1 bedroom with a very comfortable King bed and the living room has two queen size comfortable sofa beds. The kitchen is very functional and has everything one might need. The windows face an alley so the natural light is somewhat limited but the apartment is extremely well lit with many bright lamps and therefore there was no issue of darkness. Overall an outstanding place to stay in the city - we felt completely spoiled by the location and the spacious and nicely decorated unit within the upscale JW property. I can’t imagine ever staying anywhere else during future trips to NYC! Read more

Jul 2019This was everything and more. Location was fabulous. Property manager went above and beyond. We happened to be there when the blackout occurred. When we got back to our room, Fugi was waiting with headlamps, a lantern and extra batteries. Everything you need is provided. The apartment was beautiful, and every detail had been thought through. Oct 2019This property is simply outstanding. The property is 'clinically' clean with no scuff marks on any wall. Every item in the kitchen has been carefully curated to ensure that if you want to cook at home, you have the essentials to achieve this goal. The sofas and sofa beds are incredibly comfortable, as is the king bed. Security at the property is top notch. Elizabeth has an impeccable booking and communication system, with a response always within 24 hours. Fuji, her representative on the ground, is welcoming, knowledgeable and accessible during the stay. As Australians, we travel extensively and this property is exceptional. In terms of New York, it is the best accommodation that we have ever stayed in and represents exceptional value for money. May 2022This place is fantastic. The location is perfect. The apartment was impeccable. Customer service was very efficient, responding immediately to our text messages. For New York standards, huge place. The WIFI was very important for us, and it worked perfect and was very fast.
The only thing that we have to mention is that they do not have a smart TV and we were not able to install our Fire Stick to watch Netflix. The microwave was defective and we needed to use our phone timer to check the cooking time since it did not indicate the cooking time.
We will love to stay at this property if we visit New York City again. Thanks for having us as your guests. Read more

Jul 2019Owner was very communicative and helpful; she gave me great recommendations for a dinner spot for my wife’s birthday. Property manager was in the apartment when we arrived and made sure we knew where everything was and how best to get around the area. The area was perfect! I own a coffee shop back home and was able to walk to a different coffee shop each morning during our week stay; although I did double up at Dean & Deluca. We did a Yankees game, Ellis Island and many other touristy things, getting to all locations quickly and easily. The home is very close to public transport and the doormen will get you a taxi quickly when needed. The home was cozy and much larger than your traditional hotel suite. We slept out family of 5 very comfortably. When we get another chance to travel to NY, the first email I send will be to Elizabeth in hopes of booking the Essex House. Read more

Jul 2019My wife and I have used VRBO several times over the past several years [Rome, Venice, Maui (twice) Kauai, Lake Tahoe (three times) and NYC (5 times)], and this was the best experience we have had. Everything about Elizabeth's property is wonderful, but its best attribute is its wonderful location. We travel to NYC primarily to see our daughter and granddaughter, who live in Brooklyn. The relevant subway stops are very conveniently located nearby (Columbus Circle). We also like to see a few Broadway shows, and they are only a pleasant walk or short cab ride away. When our granddaughter comes to Manhattan, she likes the playground in Central Park, which we only have to cross the street to get to.
Elizabeth and her property manager (Fugi) were exceptionally helpful during booking the property and checking in. Elizabeth responded quickly and professionally to all my inquiries and Fugi met us at the property. He informed us that he lives only 10 -15 minutes away from the property and was available to us if we had any problems. Fortunately we did not need his help, but it was comforting to know he was nearby because NYC was experiencing a lot of power outages during our stay. We have never had that feeling of security at any of our stays at other vrbo properties.
The property is well maintained and equipped, very clean and pleasantly decorated.
My wife and I are planning to visit our daughter and granddaughter every year for the foreseeable future and intend to stay at this wonderful property. We highly recommend it to you.

Nov 2019I had an excellent experience from the very beginning. Elizabeth kept in touch and if I had any questions she got back to me right away.
Check in went really smoothly and the property manager (Fuji) was there to greet me. He went through everything in the apartment and showed me how everything worked. The apartment was beautiful and very clean. On one occasion I needed extra towels and wash clothes so I texted Fuji and the next morning he had them brought to me. The apartment is very well equipped. I loved the closets in the bedroom as I was staying for quite some time I loved the fact that I could hang up all my clothes. The bed was really comfy, I slept like a baby most nights. Having the kitchen was great as it was nice to be able to make breakfast before starting a busy day. The apartment is in a great location. Just walk out the door and central park is right across the street. I walked in the park most mornings and also loved the fact that you could walk to the theater and fifth ave was just a couple of blocks away. I would definitely stay in Elizabeth's apartment again. Thanks Elizabeth and Fuji for making my stay so comfortable from beginning to end.

Oct 2019Elizabeth’s condo could not have been more perfect for our Girls’ Weekend. The condo served as “home base” for our 4 day weekend devoted to shows, shopping, dinners & drinks. The great location enabled us to walk to almost everywhere we wanted to go and to the shows we had tickets for. The property is beautifully decorated and outfitted with everything we needed. We were greeted by the Property Manager upon check-in and he showed us around and answered all of our questions.
