Nestled in Dewey Beach, this charming entire apartment for £308 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Check-in is at 4:00 pm and check-out is at 10:30 am. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE. Our cleaners have this window of time to get our apartments ready for the next guest. Late check out after 10:30 am will result in the charge of an additional day.
Are you ready for some fun in the sun to cure all those winter doldrums? Come vacation with us in one of the best-kept secrets in Dewey Beach.
No Reservation is confirmed until the OWNER receives confirmation of payment from VRBO. There are no refunds for cancellation and "cancel for any reason trip insurance is recommended.
Please don't ask us to discount as we have a policy not to discount in fairness to our return guests and those who reserve early and pay the full rate and associated fees.
Our week runs from Saturday to Saturday. We NEVER rent for just one night and only rent for full weeks during July and August unless we have VERY last-minute availability.
Please note: our pet fee is per dog per night so if you are bringing more than one dog you will be invoiced for any additional dogs since VRBO doesn't have a way to select the number of dogs coming.

3. Offering three beautiful air-conditioned super clean ocean apartments. Each apartment offers something unique and different for your particular needs
4. Lounge in the sun in our huge tropical sandy beach back yard to the pleasant sound of our backyard fishpond. We have one of the largest fenced backyards in Dewey Beach with three tables, lots of seating, gas grills, a fire pit, and an ornamental fishpond. Enjoy sitting under the stars at night with a cocktail or roasting marshmallows around the fire pit while the tiki torches add that romantic lighting. Cook on the gas grills with side burners, or just play a game of horseshoes or cornhole.
5. We also have two very nice outdoor showers with hot and cold water. and a dressing area.
6. Sea View Haven is a beautiful 2BR second-floor nonsmoking apartment located approximately 125 feet to the beach. Enjoy having an ocean view from the living room, a fully stocked kitchen with everything you need for your cooking needs (except the food) including a small rattan00 table and chairs and an eat-at breakfast bar, two queen bedrooms, and a bath. This apartment has a keyless entry so no need to keep up with keys.

8. We offer DOG-FRIENDLY ONLY (sorry, no cats due to allergies, no birds, reptiles, snakes, monkeys, miniature ponies, pigs, etc) accommodations for approved dogs (pet fee per day/per dog applies)!!! VRBO only calculates for one dog. A payment request will be sent for additional dogs. Dewey Beach is pet-friendly for dogs on the beach.
During the season pets are welcome before 9:30 AM and after 5:30 PM. We are the ONLY beach town in Delaware that does allow dogs on the beach in summer. We will provide a copy of our pet rules.
9. Take an easy stroll to the beach with no roads to cross makes this perfect for families with older guests or small children for lunchtime, nap time, or bathroom breaks.
10. We have a lifeguard on the beach at the end of our street and you can rent chairs and umbrellas on the beach by the day or week. Disable beach wheelchairs are available free of charge from our lifeguards.
11. We are conveniently located to walk to all of Dewey Beach for dining and entertainment.
12. Dewey Beach is a wonderful place to come with your family or friends. While we pride ourselves on being a FAMILY oriented rental, we welcome responsible singles

All the rates shown are family rates. For non-related groups, rates quoted are for up to four people with an additional charge of $50.00 per night per person for up to two additional.
PLEASE NOTE: This apartment will only sleep up to six people. OCCUPANCY IS STRICTLY ENFORCED. Sorry, I must post this due to a few reservations that understate how many guests and then just have them show up I want to be sure everyone is aware of the rules. Over occupancy places us at risk of losing our rental license.
Failure to commence tenancy will result in the loss of any money paid and any balance will be due to the owner.

In the event of power outages, loss of cable, internet, appliances, tv failure, or any offered amenity, there will be no reduction in rent. A technician will be called ASAP.
Also please note that VRBO now charges a service fee on top of our rates which will be added to the total. We have no control over those fees:
YOU MUST LET US KNOW IF YOU ARE BRINGING A DOG PRIOR TO COMING!! Showing up with a dog without notice will result in doubling the pet fee.
Due to issues surrounding the Covid-19 virus we have had to make some changes to how we operate. Check-in time is now 4:00 PM (NO EXCEPTIONS). This extra time is needed to get everything done to ensure your safety.
Our beds will no longer have our beachy comforter sets but will still have mattress pads that will be washed and bleached after each rental stay. You will need to bring your own blankets and your own pillows with the linens and towels that you will be bringing for your safety. We have uploaded our new rental agreement. Since you are accepting this agreement by reserving it, please read it over carefully. Your safety is our main concern, and every effort is being made to make your stay as comfortable and worry-free as possible. Linens, pillows, blankets, etc can be rented from Grand Rental Station in Rehoboth if you don't wish to bring them.
We do recommend that "Cancel for any reason trip insurance" be purchased in the event your reservation needs to be canceled because we cannot insure your vacation.
WHAT TO BRING: Dish Cloths, Dish Towels, paper products, trash bags, bath soap, & laundry detergents, bath towels, sheets, blankets, pillows, washcloths & toiletries. Please bring appropriately sized sheet sets.
CLEANING: We take pride in offering a very clean nonsmoking apartment and appreciate your care to make sure it stays that way. We have cleaners come in after each guest leaves to make sure everything is ready for the next guest. You are expected to perform normal everyday cleaning, take out the trash, and run the dishwasher and put the clean dishes away. It is the responsibility of the GUESTS to make sure the apartment is left in the same condition as found. Additional cleaning will be charged additional fees.
WIRELESS INTERNET is provided by an outside company and is free of charge. While this service is provided it is not guaranteed and we are not responsible should it not be available or for any problems that may occur from its use.
Off-street parking is available for 2 vehicles one behind the other in the spot marked B on the building. No more than two vehicles may park in front of the building. No exceptions. Parking passes are required in the season for any additional vehicles and they MUST park on the street. Passes may be obtained at townhall 105 Rodney Ave

The ground floor is taken up completely by our Sea Horse Hideaway three-bedroom apartment. This apartment is very large, one of the largest all on one floor in Dewey with NO stairs. There is a living room, full kitchen, dining room, Florida room, three bedrooms, 1 & 1/2 baths, and a deck off the back that opens to our spacious backyard. It is VRBO #314407
We do rent for SENIOR WEEK as well as for Greyhounds Reach the Beach for the April and October events.

Jul 2021We stayed in apartment B with our pups. The unit was up a flight of narrow stairs. Overall, the location was great and has ample parking for guests who may need to purchase day passes. The beach entry point was not overly crowded, which was nice.
Everything was clean inside and the people were very nice- they have an on-site unit. The unit could use some updates as it is becoming worn and outdated. The common area is large and fenced, but cluttered; All that said, would stay again. Read more

Aug 2016We really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment was neat and clean and had everything that we needed. It was just a few houses from the beach so my family could all come and go as they pleased throughout the day. Plenty of good restaurants were within a few blocks, so we were able to walk to dinner and ice cream every night. Jul 2021Perfect for 2-4 people but challenging for more as there isn’t a lot of space to move around. Has everything you need to cook and eat in, but is walking distance to restaurants (and everything else) in Dewey. The sofa bed mattress is very thin so we put sheets on the sofa cushions and my daughter slept with it in couch form. Upon leaving after an enjoyable week, I spoke with Larry and pointed out some things that he may want to check out (broken box spring and bad mattress, burned out bulbs,). He was very receptive to the comments which I hope will make it a little more comfortable for future renters. If you rent unit B, know that you must turn off both bedroom window AC units before using a hair dryer or other hair appliance, otherwise the breaker gets tripped and you have to go in the common hall to reset it. If you have problems with stairs, unit B is not for you since you have to walk up a full flight to access it.

Oct 2020My wife and I had a great experience staying here with our dog over a weekend. The location can’t be beat, and we were on the beach within seconds of leaving the apartment. The apartment itself is clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It was also surprisingly quiet (we only heard the neighbors when they were coming and going). Jun 2022My husband and I rented for a few days for a beach getaway. We chose this property for its proximity to the beach (literally less than a minute walk) and it was dog friendly. The fenced in backyard was huge, but had a lot of stuff scattered around so you'll want to keep a close eye on your dog if you let them off their leash to make sure they don't go snooping in something they shouldn't. There was also a standing water feature, which meant lots of mosquitos - be sure to take bug spray if you want to enjoy the space!
While they weren't an issue for us, the stairs leading in/out of the 2nd floor were a little steep and could be problematic for some (older dogs with hip problems would struggle). The living space was fine, and the kitchen was stocked with most basics you would need if you choose to cook (pots, pans, plates, cutlery, etc.). The two bedrooms are pretty small and there wasn't much space besides the bed and a dresser - wasn't a problem for us though since we spent most of our time outside!
All in all, would consider returning to this property again in the future. Read more

Oct 2020Dell was phenonmenal to work with for our 40th Anniversary weekend that came together at the last minute. We enjoyed our stay at her apartment. It was perfect for the two of us and our fur baby. We were steps to the beach. Walking distance to restaraunts, etc. We did sunrise on the beach and sunset at the bay. Both easy walks. We were able to have am coffee while watching the ocean from the dining table.
